I was awoken by my alarm at 7 am and I was so tired and didn't want to get up. Me and Zoe had been up until around 5 am just watching movies and YouTube videos. We had watched a scary video which made us be up all night. I rolled out of bed and walked into the bathroom. After showering and exiting the bathroom I sat down at my vanity and started to do my makeup. After work yesterday I had discovered that the whole Tottenham squad started following me on Instagram, as much I didn't want to follow spurs players but I ended up following all of them back. I checked out some of their instagrams and most of them were really hot.

My makeup wasn't a lot I just lightly filled in my eyebrows and but on some lipgloss.

I was so jealous of Zoe who could sleep in all day. I looked out the window and it looked foggy and wet.

I put on leggings and a hoodie, I put my hood up and went down stairs to see Mauricio dunking coffee in the kitchen.

"Are you ready?" He asked

I just nodded and put on my shoes and grabbed out my handbag. We drove in silence to the training ground we did stop for my iced coffee tho.

Steve asked me to put the guys training kits out as he started on the laundry. I got trough it really quick and I went to Mauricio's office. He looked as tired as I was but I didn't want to think what reasons would keep him up all night.

"No offence but you guys look dead" Cristian said as he came up to us with dele,Winks, Kane and son behind him

"Yea I didn't get that much sleep" Mauricio said

"Me too" I said

"I didn't get any sleep because of you" Mauricio said as he looked at me

"Because of me?" I asked, the guys were all listening on in our conversation.

"You and Z, don't see why you guys feel it's so necessary to be that loud in the middle of the night" he said

"Well I couldn't get sleep because of Z either, but we weren't that loud" I said

"You guys were on the 3rd floor, your mum and mines room is in the first floor if i could hear you all the way down there that means you guys were loud" he said

"Okay I guess no more sleepovers on a school night" I said

"Or you can have sleepovers at Z's apartment" Mauricio said before walking off

"So you're a loud one" Winks said

I didn't understand why he was talking about so I didn't bother to answer

"You want to join us for breakfast" son asked

"If winks keeps his mouth shut" I said

"Sounds good to me" Cristian said while ruffling Winks hair.

I wasn't that hungry so I just got a fruit salad and joined the guys.

"So who is Z?" Winks asked

"I though he wasn't suppose to talk" I said

"Okay, who's Z?" Harry asked

"My friend" I said as I ate my fruit salad.

"My friends usually don't keep me up all night" Son said looking to the guys

"Mine usually don't either" Dele said while giving me a smile.

"She's my best friend" I said still confused to what they were referring to.

"Oh so you guys are best friends and you guys have sex with each other?" Cristian asked

"What where did having sex with each other come from?" I asked confused

"Isn't that what Mauricio meant by you guys being loud?" Son asked

"You all have dirty minds" I said

"So you and Z are just friends?" Kane asked

"Yes, Zoe and I are best friends nothing else" I said making it clear.

Some people really just did have fucking dirty minds.

"So you're into guys right?" Winks asked

"Why is that any of your business" I asked

"Because I wanna know if I still have a chance with you babes" he said

"Well I'm into guys but you didn't not have a chance with me to begin with" I said

"Come on just take the hint already it's getting too painful to watch" Dele said as him and the rest of the guys were laughing

"Nah this ain't over" he said while giving me a wink and I just shook my head while laughing a bit.

"So are you coming to the team dinner tomorrow night?" Son asked me

"The team dinner?" I asked confused

"Yea we have a dinner every week just to you know to relax a bit and have fun and a different person hosts it every week" Kane said explaining it to me

"It's the first time I'm hearing about this" I awkwardly said

"Oh it must of just slipped Mauricio's mind" Dele said

I just nodded and let out a chuckle, maybe Mauricio did want me there. Well it was my mum who set up this whole internship I'm guessing Mauricio didn't even want me working here. I pushed all those thoughts to aside.

"You're obviously welcome to come" Cristian said

"Thanks, I should head back to work" I said as I got up taking my iced coffee with me.

They all said bye to me before I went to Steve's office and waited for him to come back.

I was sat outside next to the exit on a bench over looking the parking lot. I saw most of the players and staff leave, some of them offered me a ride but I said no thanks. Zoe was still in class on the other side of town and I was going to wait for her.

I looked up towards the sky and it was grey and dull I could tell it was gonna rain anytime soon. Today had been a shity day, I hadn't slept at all, i more or less found out Mauricio doesn't want me here. Why should I be surprised tho, the way I've treated him over the years he has every right to not like me or want me around.

"Why are you sitting here in the cold?" Someone asked pulling me from my train of thought.

"I'm waiting for my ride" I said

"Maybe I could wait with you so you don't have to be alone" he said

"No it's okay it's gonna be more then an hour or so" I said to him

"It's about to rain" he said

"I'll go inside them" I said

"Come on, I'm giving you a ride home, let's go" he said while putting his hand out for me to take

"Are sure?" I asked

And he nodded, I took his hand and stood up from the bench, I could feel his hand on my lower back as he lead me to the car.

After getting in and writing the address into the gps I quickly texted Zoe telling her I didn't need a ride home.

"So you're an Arsenal fan" Dele said

"Yes pretty much since birth" I said

"But why? James said he was born in Manchester and I'm assuming you were too, it's just I know your mum and James are both Manchester United fans, what I'm wondering is what made a girl from Manchester start supporting a team in north London" he asked

"Yes I was born in Manchester but my....erm my dad he's an arsenal supporter and he was determined to make his first born a arsenal supporter and it just worked out I guess" I said

I didn't like talking about my dad to people I didn't know that well, the only people I did talk to about my dad was Zoe and James.

"Why did you agree to take this job if you're an arsenal supporter?"

"It was for my mum she wanted me and Mauricio to get closer to each other and I wanted to make her happy" I said to him

"Do you know how long your gonna be interning for?" He asked

This guy sure as hell asked a lot of questions.

"No im not sure maybe until like Christmas" I said to him

"Okay I have one questions to ask, personally as a Spurs player I could never wear an arsenal shirt how does it feel having to wear Spurs clothing?" He asked

"Horrible like I had to put my dignity and pride aside and be like I'm doing this for mum" I said

He just laughed

"Okay so if you had to choose between playing for Arsenal or never playing again, what would you chose?" I asked him

"I would never play again" he said without a doubt

"Come on you have to think of your career you're young" I said

"Do you remember what happened the last time a spurs player joined arsenal?" He asked

"Oh yea so-"

"Don't say his name we don't like to talk about him" he said

"He was an amazing player, he was a big part of our invisible season" I said

"He was a traitor" Dele said

"That doesn't make him less of a player" I said

"Well we don't like to talk about him in this part of town" he said

"Noted" I said

"Yesterday I heard you talking French to the French speaking guys, where did you learn to speak French?" He asked

"I spent the past year in France, so I learned the language" I said

"Oh really? What were you doing there, studying or?" He asked

"No I just wanted to live abroad" I said

"What made you come back?" He asked

"I missed my friends and family, as fun as it was living abroad London is my home" I said

We continued talking, about football, our favourite parts of London and traveling.

"If I could visit one place it would be to Bora Bora" he said

"Why don't you go there then?" I asked

"Bora Bora isn't one of those places you go to with you friends it's more of a couple destination or a family destination and I just haven't found the girl to take with me" he said

"Well all I can tell you Bora Bora is a beautiful place to visit, it doesn't have to be with a girl you can bring a long your friends or siblings, if you wanna do something you should, don't wait around for a girl" I told him

"Thanks for the advice, Okay so where would you want to visit?" He asked

"I think I'd like to visit South Africa" I said

"Yea it seems really pretty I've wanted to go there too" he said as he pulled up in front of the house.

"Well here's my stop" I said looking over to Dele

"Thank you so much for the ride" I said giving him a smile

"No worries, I'll see you tomorrow" he said

"See then" I said as I started to get out of the car

"You're coming to the dinner party right?" He said

"I'll try to make it" i said

"Alright, have a good day" he said as I stood next to the car door.

I just waved and closed the door behind me and walked up to the house.

I saw James playing Fifa in the living room and I sat down next to him.

"James I have to ask you something" I said to him

"What is it" he asked

"Do you ever miss dad?"

He just let out a sight and paused his game to look at me.

"Amelia we've been trough this dad left us he went off and started a new family, why miss a guy who clearly doesn't give a fuck about you" he said

"Chill it was just a question" I said

"No you do this all the time, you start missing him, you reach out to him get rejected and you're the one left all hurt in the end" he said

"Don't you ever wonder why he left?" I asked

"No not really we are better off without him" he said

"You're only saying that just so you can continue playing father and son with Mauricio" I said

"You're such a bitch no wonder dad left and Mauricio doesn't like you" he said

I didn't say anything I just got up and went to my room. I spent the rest of the day there and only leaving to get the pizza I had ordered.
