《More than rubies [D. Alli x E. Dier]》Chapter 8

Introducing Ruby to everyone was fun, but it would be more fun, if Eric was with us.
Everything was funnier when he was around...
He was like never ending summer holidays, like a refreshing drink on hot days vor even like a comfy pullover on a cold winter's night.
He was perfect.
I wanted him, I needed him.
"Guys, I need to show her around, we'll talk later!" I waved at them.
"Bye!", she said in a high-pitched girl-voice.
"Bye, Beauty!", Danny shouted.
"Damn, Daniel.", I mumbled.
"Here we have...", I opened the door.
"Huh? Nobody? Where have they gone?", I wondered.
I knocked on the neighbour door.
"Come in!", someone shouted.
I opened the door.
"Here y'all at! I was looking for you!"
Kevin, Nacer and Harry Winks squeezed onto one bed, Sonny, Moussa and Michael squeezed onto the other, playing Fifa.
Everyone at Spurs was obsessed with that game.
"No fair!", Harry pouted.
"Aya!", Sonny cried. "So close."
At first they didn't care about me, until Moussa shouted:
"Omg. Guys. Stop. It's true."
"What's true?", Kevin wanted to know.
"You're gay?", Nacer laughed.
"Fuck you, no.", Moussa replied.
"Look!"
He pointed at Ruby.
"Our little one has finally grown up..."
Ruby shyly waved.
"Hi, I'm Ruby."
Everyone was smiling gently.
"Hey, Ruby. I'm Michael. You got a great catch there! Dele's really a nice guy."
Sonny was curious.
"Omo! Ruby? Isn't that some kind of stone?"
I laughed.
"You're a stone. You... You Heung-Min Stone."
We all laughed.
"Congrats, bro.", Harry said while smirking.
"Yeah. She's a model. Look at dat boooty.", Nacer added.
I growled.
"Nacer! Please." He giggled.
"I feel uncomfortable.", Ruby whisper into my ear.

I didn't love her, but I accepted that and apologized.
"Sorry for Nacer. He's a fine guy, but sometimes he likes to be a douche. Don't hate him. He's really friendly.", I whispered back. "Sorry, guys. We ought to go now. See y'all tomorrow!"
Ruby looked me in the eyes.
"Thanks, Dele. I don't like to be shouted at...."
I shook my head. "It's fine. It's important that you tell me things like that, so we can leave. It's your right to say no and just leave. Nobody should make you feel uncomfortable."
She smiled at me. "Thank you, Dele. I love you."
I smiled back at her.
"No problem."
After we were done introducing her to everyone, I hugged her.
Just because I thought she deserved some treatment for playing along, I mean, she still thought I was in love with her.
I drove her home.
When we arrived, she winked at me and kissed me.
"Dele", she whispered slyly.
"Aren't you tired? I don't want to spend my time alone, you know. My bed is big enough for both of us."
She smirked.
I was nervous. "Errr... Eh, I have an important meeting tomorrow morning. I can't stay, Ruby."
She took my hand. "But we can make it hot and quick? Whatcha think? You'll love it."
She was about to pull me inside, when I shouted: "No. Ruby, stop. You're violating my rights. I don't feel like doing it now. Please let me go. I'm not ready yet."
She stared at me.
"Oh. I thought.... You... And you were so nice to me... It would be a little suprise, but I'm sorry if I disturbed you....", she looked at the ground.
"It's alright.", I said.
"Good night, Ruby."

"Good night, Dele."
When I was back inside my room, I pretended to be very happy.
"Ah, our lil' one is back here. You're such a gentleman." Kyle laughed.
"Your girlfriend is nice. Lovley Person. Really."
I nodded.
"Yeah, she is."
I must have been looking really disturbed, because he asked me wheter I was alright.
I nodded slowly.
He looked worried.
"Are you sure? Wanna talk about anything?"
I shook my head. "I'm good. Thanks."
Eric came out of the bathroom.
He had been showering. He had been showering a lot since we had been fighting.
"Hi, Eric.", I greeted.
"Hi, Dele. Where's your girlfriend?", he asked.
"At home. I drove her home."
Eric smirked.
"You didn't stay?" I shook my head.
"No."
He continued smirking.
"Not today?"
I sighed.
"Not any time soon."
Eric was suprised.
"Oh, why? I mean... It's fun."
I rolled my eyes. "Too soon!"
Eric giggled. "You're prude!"
"I don't care. I'm simply not ready yet."

Kill the Harem
I was never a person who struggled with anything. Whatever I wanted to achieve, I achieved, except for finding a good reason for living. That was until I died. Perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was some particularly sick god. I woke up in a world full of magic and encountered all these women who became romantically obsessed with me. It bears an uncanny resemblance to those garbage isekai series that I had the misfortune of reading in high school. The problem is, I loathe isekai. It got to the point where ever time I read about a busty elf-girl wanting to follow the protagonist, I wanted to throw something. It's illogical and it ruins the flow of the story. But now, I'm the one getting harassed by such illogical people? What complete and utter drivel. If any obsessive crazy person tries to make me theirs without even caring about my opinion, I'll f*cking kill them! I'll kill them all! I'm getting back home no matter what. My favorite manga hasn't finished yet and I want to read it to the end. Q&A Section Q: Is the protagonist mentally healthy? A: No, not even close. Q: Are all the female characters stupid? A: Barring extenuating circumstances, nobody rational would fall for a guy like the protagonist, so there's a bit of selection bias going on here. Q: Is this about a Gary Stu killing a bunch of irrational harem characters in a cliche isekai world? A: Go reread the title and the synopsis. Q: Do the women die because they won't sleep with the protagonist? A: No. I'm not sure where anyone got that from since it's entirely the opposite of what happens.
