"I'm sorry to hear about your grand-mother.", he said in his french, calm voice.
I sat down again and I felt like the whole cafeteria was staring at me.
I felt quite uncomfortable about the fact, that they comforted me for a lie.
I tried to eat normally, but Harry softly said: "I'm sorry, Dele. I didn't know, that she means so much to you." Jan nodded slowly. "I hope she gets better, you know? Things can only get better from now on."
I hurried to eat, because I didn't want to be comforted anymore, or at all...
When I finished my breakfast, Benjamin came to apologize: "Hey, I'm sorry for insulting you when you were in a bad mood. I didn't know what was going on..."
I shook my head.
"No. I was too rude."
I need to apologize, so I went to see Erik Lamela.
"Erik?", Eric Dier looked at me.
"Lamela... See... I'm sorry for pushing you away at the stairs... I was just really fed up 'n stuff..."
Lamela smiled at me. "No need to apologize. Really."
I was glad, that he wasn't mad at me at all. He understood me. At least he thought so...
"When my grandma died I was really sad, too."
When I went away Eric Dier looked really sad.
I would apologize to him, but at a better time.
I went into my room and played 'doodle jump' while waiting for him.
Kyle arrived.
"See, Kyle, before you say something, I do. Can you do me a favor? Can you please leave the room for half an hour or an hour? I need to talk to Eric."
He sighed.
"What are you gonna say?"
"I'll apologize. I swear. I don't want to make him cry again."

When these words left my mouth I smiled weakly.
I had made him cry. It was my fault.
Kyle agreed.
"I'd do shit to make you two be bros again. I will sacrifice my free-time for you, got it? So go and get things straight!"
I gulped.
"Don't say that."
"Why?"
"I don't know. It sound weird."
"As long as you get along... I don't care."
The door opened and when Eric saw me, he looked at the floor.
"I will leave you two alone now."
Then Kyle rushed away.
Eric sat on his bed, staring out of the window.
I sat next to him.
"Are you alright, Eric?"
"No. This is rubbish."
"Stupid question, of course you're not."
"Don't you hate me?"
"No. Did I make you cry?"
"Yes."
"Cry a lot?"
"Yeah."
He looked at me, straight in the eyes. I could see that they were moist.
"A lot."
A tear ran over his face.
He sniffeld and his voice was pitched high.
"We used to be best friends, and... and I apologized and I thought it was all good again, as always, but you..." he panted. "You were so mean and I thought you'd hate me forever..."
I felt bad. My heart ached when I heard that.
"Here, have a tissue."
I gave him one, that I had prepared. Just in case...
He dried his tears.
"Thanks."
I looked out of the window.
I could see the green pitch and and the sticks of the trees, waving in the wind.
"I find the wind very calming." Eric nooded and tried to smile.
"Yeah, I like to see the branches waving. They look like they're waving at me. Sometimes I wave back at them... Is that weird?"

"No, Eric. It's not. I like how you see things. You have your own view."
He sighed.
"I guess."
A moment of silence filled the room.
"I'm sorry."
"No, I am."
He laid his head on my shoulder.
My heart was racing.
I could feel his breath against my neck.
It was warm and familiar.
"I'm so happy to see you.", I said.
"I'm happy to be friends with you again.
Although these words hurt, I felt like that moment was perfect.
"I'm sorry for your grandma."
"..."
"I hope she gets well soon."
...Aaand the moment was gone. Although it was gone I replied: "Me, too."
A moment of silence gave me time to adjust a little, until Eric asked: "Is it true?"
"What?"
"Will you leave Spurs?"
"Not any time soon.
No.
Never ever!"
Eric chuckled.
"Phew. I would be really sad if you did, you know? Please... Just stay, okay?"
I nodded.
"Promise."
He seemed to be happy.
I was exited over him lying on my shoulder.
I just didn't want him to be sad anymore. I smiled.
"I'm glad you forgave me."
"We're best friends. Shit happens, but we'll go through it all."
A couple seconds after that, someone knocked on the door.
