sofia stared at her phone in shock. he really was the worlds biggest arsehole. "telling me to leave ruby alone," she mumbled to herself. "absolute weirdos."

"you look pissed." she heard when she picked up a facetime call from her brother.

"nope. just peachy." sofia replied with a forced smile.

"boy trouble?"

"no? yes."

"dele?"

"who?"

"sofia," he laughed. "come on man, just forget about him. he's really not worth your breath."

"i'm trying paulo but i can't just forget about him. it's so hard! i don't know what's wrong with me i hardly know the guy and even his nasty texts to me made my heart do jumps purely because he was texting me? am i dumb?"

"oh jesus..." he exhaled. "how are you in this deep?"

"i don't know! i've been wondering the same bloody thing. i don't get it p!"

"i know you two have had a lot of problems in such a short time but have you ever gotten together and actually spoken about them? like, face to face. no shouting, just listen to each other- see from the other persons view point?"

"no... we never got to that stage. something would happen and i don't know, he never tried to contact me properly? never attempted to apologise or explain why he didn't tell me about certain things, it's like he doesn't even care you know."
