sofia couldn't believe what she'd done. she was an hour late to her lecture and had no clue where she was. sofia had only landed in england yesterday morning after a 14 hour plane journey from her home country, argentina where she'd been for the past couple of months. everyone had told her to come earlier, prepare herself and get to know england before her semester started but she knew if she came earlier she'd spend less time with her family, and she couldn't bear that. moving from italy back to argentina and now england in under a year was a lot but sofia thought she could handle it. sofia was lost in a daze, walking straight ahead, paying no attention to where she wad going until she knocked into someone.

"sorry, i need to watch where i'm going" she stated as she looked up into the brown eyes of a tall, slender man.

"no worries. i wasn't paying much attention either! you look lost, do you need any help?"

"i was supposed to be at the imperial college around an hour and a half ago, but i've got no idea where it is or where i am and i haven't sorted out getting my data to work in england yet so i can't look at maps!"

"you're not far. come on, i'll walk you there. and before you object, it's not out of my way and i don't have other plans, so follow me."

they walked for about ten minutes where they got to know each other. age, name etc. however, dele stopped himself when telling sofia his job. he didn't know why. maybe it's because she doesn't know who he is so he knew if she liked him, she would like him for him and not for his fame. not that sofia would need fame from another footballer when she's known for her brother, paulo dybala. dele didn't know that though, sofia couldn't think of a way to bring paulo into their conversation so she let it be. "he probably doesn't know who he is anyway, he's english" she thought.

"thanks for walking me here, you've honestly saved my life!"

"no problem, it's what a gentleman does" dele replied with a wink. "how about as a thank you, you give me your number?"

sofia laughed at his forwardness, but she was always attracted to confidence. they exchanged numbers and they parted their ways, dele walking in an opposite way and sofia walking into her university. she decided there was absolutely no point going to her lecture now, so she was going to familiarise herself with the university as that way she won't get lost in future. so far, sofia wasn't a fan of england. but maybe, one person can change that.

omg sorry it's ugly i don't know how to write so like hopefully it will get better and maybe in the future the chapters will be longer because this is quite short i think?
