《Cadillac Haven [Tom Hiddleston]》SIX

I spent the whole week awaiting our little date. I would often stay after class for a while, mildly flirting with each other. Playing games, like waiting to see who got to the cafe first, reserving each others seats, ordering each others drinks.
I had told Maddie about the date. Typical Maddie was hesitant at first, saying it was weird to go on dates with my professor. But seeing how happy it made me Maddie had no choice but to be happy for me.
"This would look so good on you Eva", Maddie suggested throwing me a red dress which its cleavage was so far cut.
"Maddie I don't want it to seem like I'm trying too hard". "You going on a date with your professor is already trying too hard babe, and he seems like a boob guy so thats a plus".
We concluded on a dressy white top, black leather shorts that cinched at the waist and cream colored kitten heels. Maddie convinced me to wear a red lip implying that I needed to get laid. I protested...pretending as if sex was gonna be the last thing on my mind. But we both knew I wasn't as prude as I acted.
Tom was to pick me at six, hurrying down the stairs being that I was already 20 minutes late. I spotted Tom, leaned on his car. He wore a button down white dress shirt tucked into black pants and a pair of loafers. He looked up at me smiling and I waved, scurrying towards him. Unexpectedly he pulled me into a hug grinning, before taking my face with his palm and placing a faire la bise on my cheek. I blushed, looking away. He led me to the passenger seat opening the door, waiting for me to swing my legs over before shutting it.

"Did I tell you how nice your car was", I beam at him dragging my finger along the interior. It had cream leather seats that had a mild scent of shoe polish that was awfully nostalgic. Tom laughed, his face bashful.
"Thank you"
"Awe, someone isn't too good at taking complements".
"Got me there", Tom smiled.
We drove for about 30 minutes before we stopped at the gates that made way to a vineyard. Driving through the path and making turns, observing the bushes that were adorned with grapes until we finally came upon an outdoor restaurant.
"oh pretty", I exclaim looking out the window. Tom parked alongside the other cars and I couldn't help but notice how they were all old school vintage cars. Stepping out, Tom stretched out his hands, I took his hand intertwining our fingers before he led me unto the patio.
We were approached by a waitress who walked us to a table by the edge of the balcony, pulling out a seat before looking at the waitress.
"Thanks Gayle". I presumed by him knowing the waitresses name that he had been here before. The seats were wooden and covered with a merlot red color which I adored.
"You come here often", I asked breaking the silence.
"I do actually, what made you think that".
"Well you knew the waitresses name", I laughed. Tom smiled looking away as if he had something important to say.
"Ive been thinking about you a lot, Eva" he says shifting his gaze to me. I look away blushing.
"Well is that true", I tease.
The waitress returned with a menu in her hand, and to my surprise scanning through I realized that there was no food, just various names of wine jumbled together under groups. It finally hit me that we were wine tasting hence the vineyard and the rich fancy cars.

My stomach turned, other than the fact I had a fear of drinking... I wasn't twenty one, and the thought of the terror that would fill Tom if he found out how young I was made me petrified. I moved in my seat anxiously as I watched the waiter bring two glasses, and carefully pouring the red liquid into our cups.
I smiled at Tom shyly before he started making conversation and abruptly stopped, noticing the change in my mood. The waiter smiled at me and He hesitated watching her leave, and frowning at how obviously anxious I had gotten.
"Hey...are you okay", he said carefully putting his hand under the table and stroking my knee. This shot sparks up my body and I looked at him nodding slowly.
"I have to use the bathroom", speed walking to the bathroom that I had been eyeing as an escape plan. Getting to the bathroom I pulled out my phone texting a series of curse words and "I cant do this" to Maddie . Watching the text messages go red, I looked at the signal, my face dropping as there was no connection in the bathroom.
A cold sweat formed on my back, my eyes welling up with tears. I quickly swatted them away, taking deep breaths. Am I overreacting? I am...I am aren't I? I thought to myself. "Just go out there and drink the fucking wine...Its wine for gods sake Eva". Stepping out of the bathroom, I put on a fake smile walking to the table to notice Tom wasn't there. My face went cold, look what you did Eva...just one time you cant just not self sabotage.
Walking to the table I noticed from the side of my eye the waitress, Gayle, walking up to me.
"Tom said that you should meet him in the Maze garden". She smiled, walking away before I could even ask where the damn maze garden was.
