Gon's POV
---
I head out to meet up with Killua after my training. We were gonna eat together on a picnic. I was beyond excited, since I was gonna hang out with Killua and recharge my energy after a long afternoon of training. I skipped to my room to get ready so I wouldn't be a sweaty beast in front of Killua. I whistled a happy tune as I took a quick shower. I put on a set of clothes that was made up of a long sleeved black shirt with a white tee on top, some jean shorts, and a pair of black shoes that complimented my long white socks. I had to look good, because of Killua, but also because he was a fashion freak so I would be scolded if I wore a green tracksuit.
Someone knocked on my door and in came Canary. She notified me that Killua was still in the kitchen preparing stuff, and needed help. I thanked her and I left quickly to the kitchen, but as I passed her, I saw a small smile growing on her face. I was kinda confused but I knew she was planning on something.
I strolled to the kitchen and got a glimpse of white fluffy hair in the corner. I hid to see what he was doing. Killua was covered in powder, cake batter somehow all over his face, clearly struggling to make something. I laughed, which startled Killua.
'H-huh?! G-Gon! Why are you h-here?!"
"Apparently a little birdie told me that you needed help."
"I-I-I don't need help, I can do this myself!" he pouted. I giggled with a slightly pink face.
"What're you trying to make?"
"C-chocolate cake... " Killua said sheepishly.
"That's so on-brand of you, since you love chocolate so much." I teased. Killua puffed out his pink cheeks while I laughed. "Here, let me help." I went behind him and reached towards the bowl of chocolate cake batter. I felt Killua freeze and tense up, but he calmed down. I smirked and had a need to see him flustered again. I leaned into his ears to mutter something.

"Hey Killua... " I huffed lowly. I saw his ears turn red. I smirked. "Can you hand me the whipping cream?" Killua's head spun around with a red face and whacked my head.
"B-baka! Why can't you ask normally instead of breathing in my ear?!" he covered his ear, still blushing furiously. I laughed loudly, making him even more red but in embarrassment. He turned back again to the bowl in front of him.
After a while, we finally finished baking the cake and had frosted it with, of course, chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles. Killua put his hands on his hips with a satisfied face. I smiled at the cute scene
"Did you get the rest of the food ready?" I asked. He nodded and pointed to a picnic basket. We grabbed everything and headed to the garden.
We laid the blanket on the soft prickly green grass and plopped down. Killua opened the basket and pulled out all kinds of food that you could eat without mess such as sandwiches, salads, mini pies and pastries, and even a bento! I looked at Killua with my mouth agape.
"Y-you made all of this?!" I exclaimed.
"Ehehe, yeah." he replied, scratching the back of his neck. We both thanked each other for the food and dug in. After we were stuffed, we laid on the blanket and gazed at the clouds. The warm sun hitting our skin was making us drowsy. Then I yawned.
"Being pretty must be tiring." he said. I tilted my head towards him and smirked.
"Then you must be exhausted." I answered. Killua looked at me while blushing furiously. He tried hiding his face by covering it with his pasty hands.
"B-baka, why do you say embarrassing things?"
"What? But it's true! You're really pretty!" his ears turned into crimson red. He groaned in embarrassment. I giggled. Then it was quiet. We were both about to doze off from the warmth of the sun. I felt a pair of arms around me and saw that Killua was holding me, asleep. I smiled and pulled him on top of me so he could sleep peacefully. His light snores made me blush since it was so cute. I put my hands around him and felt comfortable. My eyes were drooping as I was taking all of this in. 'I think I like you, Killua... ' Then I dozed off with a smile on my face.
