"Shh! He is almost here guys. Don't want to ruin the surprise." Kurapika whispers to everyone inside of Gons home, with all their friends there.
While Killua and Leorio were cackling about how his face would look with everyone surprising him.
"Sorry mom, I'll be quiet." Killua whispers to Pika with a smile and he just rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, just be quiet. We'll be loud to your surprise if you don't stop laughing." Pika replies back with a smirk, making Killua blush.
"Touché."
"Shh, the door is opening."
The door quietly and slowly opens with a little sunlight coming inside. All dark with no sign of anyone home.
A 18 year old teen peeked through the door with curious hazel eyes wondering, examining everything that's inside and nothing. His happy eyes expected a surprise sadden and he continues walking in. Shutting the door behind him and slams his back onto it then sighs.
"Aww man, no one came to see me? I'm I not that important anymore?" A sad tone broke into his voice and starts walking towards the stairs. Before reaching halfway though-
"Surprise! Happy Birthday Gon!" Everybody came out of their hiding spot, scaring the living hell out of Gon.
He smiles widely and starts crying when seeing Mito-San walking closer to him and gave him a hug around his neck.
"Why would you think that sweetie? Of course you're important, we all love you." She let go and placed a hand on his cheek. " Happy birthday, Gon."
Gon couldn't help but hug her once again, she hug back.
"T-thank you Mito-San, I don't know where I'll be without you. You changed my life..." He back away slowly and stared at everyone in the room.
"And all of you changed me, made feel less alone in this world. Thank you guys so much! I love all of you!" Gon shouting out happily and all of his friends came around to give him a group hug.

"You guys are all the best!"
"You too Gon!" Everyone shouting out loud and started laughing. Soon they backed away and one person spoke up.
"Hey Gon, there is a certain someone who else wants to show you a surprise." A woman with a long sparkly purple dress, with dark pink eyes staring at the happy teen and pointed to a certain friend.
He looked where she was pointing at and surprised to see a familiar person. His name was no other than Killua Zoldyck.
"Killua!" Saying loudly with glee and went towards him for a tight hug. Strong arms wrapped around his slender waist. Killua gasped at the sudden action and blushed.
"I-idiot! Y-you are embarrassing me! Let me go!" Gon ignores his pleading, holding on tighter when Killua is trying pulling off his arms around him with no success.
The embarrassed male look around to see everyone taking pictures and giggling.
Some were even blushing at the sight.
Giving off a death glare, they all looked in different directions while putting their phones away and whistle like nothing is happening.
Gon lets go and simply smiles brightly."So, what are you going to show me Killua?"
"U-um, just follow me." Responding shyly, glancing down shyly to hide his red face, shoving both hands in his shorts.
"Aww someone is getting shy with their crush!" A man named Leorio yelled out loudly, getting stares by everyone, with Pika who nudge him hard with his elbow. Receiving a grunt from the taller male.
"S-shut old man! Let's go Gon. It won't take long."
"Good luck!" All their friends shouted, Killua groaned in annoyance and headed out with Gon close behind him.
~Time-skip to destination~
By the time they arrived, a sunset began to show brightly in the horizon over an open ocean, reflecting the light with beautiful rays of colors.
Both young teens were on top of a hill, eyeing the beautiful view, relaxing at ease side by side. Gon calmly looks over his shoulder to see Killua staring back at him.

"This is what you wanted to show me? It's really beautiful..." Asking slightly concerned for Killua, who brought him somewhere far from home. Not like he was upset, a very lovely view to see, what matters is that he has a beloved friend to care and cherish.
Wanting to cuddle, spending more time alone together, exploring new places, and learning what is like to love. Being more than friends. He is just not sure how to say or express his own feelings for love. A different type of love. More affection is what he wants. Even if Killua doesn't feel the same way, he'll stay by his side no matter what happens and staying good friends when far apart.
"No, I have two more thing for you, here's the second one..." Ruffling through his shorts to find a small wrapped green box with a red bow tie around. Handing the gift towards Gon, with curious eyes. Pulling off a small lid with ease and sees a bracelet shaped heart. A blue shiny heart, with white writing carved saying..
"Forever with Killua."
Gons eyes widened when reading those three words, pink blush tinted his cheeks. Peeking up his head to see Killua held up wrist with a bracelet, but a green one says
"Forever with Gon."
The slightly taller male smiles and begins to cry once again.
"Gon you big goof ball, don't cry. It hurts to see you cry like this...especially on a special occasion." Killua frowns and grabs the bracelet to wrap around Gons right wrist. With Killuas on his left, so when they hold hands, both hearts will show together.
"S-sorry Killua, I'm just happy you got a similar gift from mine to you. I just wanted to give you that as a sign...a promise that we will always be together no matter what. Importantly, remembering me when we are apart." Gon sweetly responds.
"Now, I can remember you."
"W-what are you telling me Gon?" Killua asking nervously when feeling a hand intertwining with his own, cheeks feeling warm.
"What Im telling you is that, I love you, Killua."
Blue eyes widen, face turning brighter than an apple, heart beating faster by the second. Glimmering golden eyes shining brightly from a bright sun, a small smile formed on his lips, waiting patiently for a response.
"Well?" Gon asked curiously, wrapping a free arm around the others waist, pulling him closer. Killua had no choice but to lock eyes with the other and a hand on Gons shoulder. Feeling super embarrassed being in this position with a long time friend who is much more, faces inches away.
"W-well, I-i like you too." He mumbles an inaudible voice, which of course Gon clearly heard what he said.
"Now we confessed, what is the last gift you wanted to give me?" Raising a brow slightly, pretending not to know what the last gift is, by waiting for Killua.
Killua let go from Gons grip to cup his face and connected their lips together.
Gon didn't expect him to do this easily but was lost in thoughts and kissed back; wrapping both arms around his waist tighter. Killua was getting into the kiss, he slowly moved his arms around Gons neck for more passion.
Lips connect smoothly like a puzzle, made to be put together. Never being pulled apart. Never fitting another. Only one piece. A piece now complete.
After a few minutes of kissing, they bother parted for air.
Killuas face was obviously red from kissing and Gon of course grins.
"Happy birthday, Gon."

Vondersnitch has traced the origins and aftermath of the replicators' rapid spread. Crucially, the book also includes perspectives and testimony from those who attempted to stop the spread of the reps. "Some of these are heroes, too, in their own ways," the author writes in the book's introductory note.
