《Gonkillu One-shots (Completed)》Party Trick

It was perfect day for a walk outside in the calm cold, alone listening to his music, keeps the forest boys mind at ease after having a fight with Mito-San earlier this morning. Arguing over whether or not it was a good idea invite to Ging for a little get together party, holding at his Aunts house.
Gon justifies why it's okay to bring along his own father and of course she dissents no matter what he says for her own personal reasons. He ignores those aggravating opinions from Mito, giving up so their argument won't go any further.
As forgetting those thoughts, staring down at his phone, searching for any missing messages he can respond to, bumping into a familiar male with messy black hair and wearing a dark blue coat.
They both fell down to ground holding the hand on their foreheads of where they hit.
"Hey, watch where your going you idiot. Look wh-Gon? What are you doing out here in the cold?" Stunned and unprepared to see his son again.
It has been a month since Ging left Whale Island and he decided to come back to see everyone. Including his own son. He would've felt guilty if he declined that kind piece offering from someone he doesn't get along all to well.
"Ging? I'm so sorry, I was just looking through my phone. My apologies." He sincerely apologized with a slightly embarrassed and got up to help his father.
Ging dusted his coat and shrugged it off. "It's okay, I wasn't paying attention either. Just looking at the beautiful scenery." Gon turned his head slightly to face the beautiful view of the ocean from a distance. The beautiful blue clear waters filled with wonders, sparkling by the sun above, breeze flew swiftly past their messy black hairs, with the oceans scent going through their noses. Calming at ease, staring off to the view, thinking how they deserve such view from Mother Nature.
"You know, this where I first fell in love with your mother. Gon." Ging suddenly spoke up, breaking the calm quietness. This made Gons eyes widen, staring back at his father who kept eye on the view.
"I loved her. If she was still alive, standing with us, I will still believe in no matter what anyone says, that she's is the most beautiful person ever to exist on this very Island and world to me." A small tear drip down slowly from his one eye when he blinked. Wiping it away with a slide of his thumb, trying playing it cool.
Gon didn't know Ging loved her. Especially he really never spoke of his mom, over the years they had been together ever since meeting up on top of the world tree. Never bringing it up that serious topic, they just kept focus on their adventure. Thinking it would ruin the moment.

He never thought Ging would say something about her first. Guessing the view reminded him being together when first meet with his love of his life. Shrugging it off and decided to change the subject so Ging won't get any more sad about the past memory.
"I wish I can see her, but she's in a better place now." Gon stated, with Ging giving a nod in approval.
"So, how does it feel to be in love with someone dad?" Ging turn his head slowly, giving him a slightly confused look, from that random question out of no where, he grinned.
"Why? Do you have a crush on somebody or a certain someone?" Smiling deviously with a raised brow. Gon blushes red from that statement in his question.
He nodded. Not wanting to say the answer to that question.
Ging sighed, planted his hand on the spikey hair, ruffling it slightly. "Which one is it? Nodding isn't answering my question son." Turning even more red, he whispers.
"I-I do have a crush on Killua. But, I'm not sure if he feels the same way about me, and I really want to confess to him. I just don't know a good approach to do so. D-do you have any ideas?" He feels pretty hesitant of his own feelings.
Sure, dealing with girl confessing their love for him at school, rejecting and not shaming of his actions is easy. Really, he just doesn't have that certain love that makes his heart beat like a hummingbird when ever that certain person comes around.
Always getting jittery and jumpy whenever they talked at school. Gon knows that his friend is pretty skeptical of his own behavior, whenever they have a normal conversation in class or during lunch.
Now he wants to tell him how he feels today at the get together party.
Ging has an plan, he whispered the idea into Gons ear and smiled.
"You're a genius!"
~Time-skip~
"This will help you my son..." Ging said, as he hung a certain plant under the door frame of Gons room and smiled. "Wish you the best of luck." Giving him a thumbs up and went back downstairs with an angry aunt talking to a certain blonde about Gon bringing Ging over. But later she was calmed and convinced that he was okay to come over.
Then his son mouthed thank you and presumed waiting under the little plant. With little leaves holding tinny berries, attached to a string, that is held by a little hook underneath the frame.
He kept staring at the small plant, questioning why would use this to kiss someone they like or use it as a prank. Maybe it's an easy excuse to kiss or to see if they feel the same way for you? He wasn't really convinced of an answer and waited instead.

Minutes flew by, curious if his friend is coming over not, worried that he took out his phone to see a message from Killua.. "Sorry man, we are gonna be late. We should be there like in 5 minutes. Okay?" He felt a sudden relief and replied with a thumbs up saying it's all good.
Putting back his phone and waited patiently.
Another 5 minutes flew by and still no sign of Killua. He did tell Mito-San that he's upstairs waiting. Yet, he feels a little hurt by that. Gon felt like giving up and decided to hang out with the people downstairs. But he froze when seeing a certain ball of white fluff coming up the stairs quietly.
Gon stood back in normal position and trying playing it cool.
"Sup Gon, what are you doing standing there all by yourself?" Killua approached closer standing right in front of Gon, who was slightly taller by a few inches. Making Gon look down slightly.
"Geez, I'm not that short idiot, just move your eyes." Pouting slightly, trying bringing up his full height and yet still slightly shorter. Gon chuckled quietly, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "S-sorry Killua, I was just about to walk out until you showed up." Gon replies, averting eye contact with the blue ones. Showing a bit of concern why his avoiding his gaze.
Killua crosses his arm. "Hmm, then why were you waiting here?" Still confused of his friends strange behavior.
Gon blushes slightly and looks up at the hanging plant. Killua followed, raising a brow of what he's looking at.
"What is that Gon?" Killua asked, completely dubious of why a strange looking plant is hanging above the two. Glaring back at Gon, who is still staring at the plant.
A quiet stuttered voice spoke. "A- a mistletoe." Answering back with a slight embarrassed tone lingering in the answer. Killua is still lost.
"What is it for?" Gon jumped and blushed. To nervous to say anything.
He's surprised that his friend, who is really smart, intelligent and skilled had no idea what a mistletoe is. Gon didn't know that kind of plant ever existed and the purpose of it until Ging told him everything about it. Thinking his white haired friend would know, this was probably a good thing for him.
Knowingly his lack of knowledge wouldn't have never thought an idea like this, thankfully he ran into his father. He just hope this plan works out.
"U-um, how should I put this..." Thinking hard, figuring what to say that won't come out weird. "It's for to kiss someone you love the most. I know it sounds weird!" He frantically put his hands, waving them as a defense. Killua blushes bright red and looks away.
"B-but you don't h-have to k-kiss me if you don't want to! I will be ok-" He was stopped in mid-sentence with a pair of lips pressed against his own, with arms wrapped tightly around his neck. This took him awhile to register what was going on, then he went along with it by wrapping his arms around his slender waist, squeezing it tightly and closed his eyes slowly to enjoy this special moment.
Gon wanted this beautiful moment to last but it had to end, so Killua can catch his breath. Both parted away slightly, where their noses are touching. Gon gave a gentle smile that made Killua blush bright red and making his heart skip beats.
"W-what?" Asking annoyed, regretting his actions.
"I'm so happy." Gon replies sweetly.
Forgetting all those nervous thoughts about his own feelings towards Killua is finally free. All he can think is that he's glad that his beloved friend, who is more than that, accepted his confession without saying it out loud.
Gon did a little peck on his rosey cheek and chuckled. Killua felt his face getting hot, he closed his eyes and shoved his face into Gons chest, trying to hide his red face.
"Y-you had no idea how long I been wanting to do this, Gon." Mumbling shyly and squeezed onto his neck tighter.
"R-really?" Gon said surprised, with more warmth coming to his face and hug tighter. "I-I thought you wouldn't feel the same way. I'm so happy you feel the same way, I love you, Killua." A small gracefully tear traveled down his smooth tan cheek, landing on Killuas soft fluffy white hair.
"ILY."
"Not going to say it?"
"N-no, its to embarrassing."
Gon chuckled. "That's fine, you can tell me whenever you are ready. Okay?"
Killua sighed heavily, backing away his face from Gons chest, still holding his arms around Gon. "Why am I in love with a goofball like you?"
"I don't know, but it was a pretty nice party trick right?"
Killua smiled and placed his lips onto Gons soft ones once again.
