Gon: Killua? What are they going to do?
Me: I'm not sure but whatever they do please don't show weakness, they'll just continue
Gon: Really?
Me: Yeah
Gon: Are you ok?
Me: Yeah I'm used to this, but your bleeding did Milluki hurt you?
Gon: No Illumi did but I'm fine it doesn't hurt
Me: He hurt you?!
Gon: I mean yeah but it's my fault-
Me: It is your fault you came here knowing how my family is! You could have died! Why do you always put yourself in these types of situations?!
Dammit I'm crying again.
Gon: Killua don't cry please, I only came here because I was worried about you. I don't want to fight ok, I'm sorry that I keep doing that
Me: ...
I close my eyes and somehow end up falling asleep. I wake up hearing Gon crying. I try to move forgetting that I was chained up.
Milluki: Look whos awake *kicks me*
Me: Stop hurting him you bastard!
He hits Gon more and more making him wince in pain. I ball up my fists and break out of one of the chains. I look Milluki dead in the eyes.
Me: I said leave him alone
Milluki: T- I- Mother! Killua's trying to escape!
Me: You can chain me back up all you want, but if you continue to hurt him I will kill you
Kikyo: Killua! What do you think you're doing?!
Me: I warned him
Kikyo: Milluki chains him back up now!
Milluki: Yes mom!
He chains my arm back up and my mother leaves.
Milluki: *looks at Gon*
Me: Don't even think about it I will kill you
Milluki: Shut up! *wips me*
I tense up from the pain but try not to show it.
Milluki: You don't learn do you! *hits me again* You think you can come back home and think everything will be fine! *wips me*

Gon: STOP JUST STOP ALREADY!
I looked at Gon who was crying.
Me: Gon
Gon: What the hell is wrong with you people?! How can you do this to your brother?! How can you hurt him without feeling horrible!!?
Milluki: Shut your mouth! *hits Gon* And Killua if you try anything you'll-
Me: Don't say another word and just leave
Milluki: *hits me*
I break the chain again getting my arm out and grab his arm.
Me: Leave or I'll kill you
He hits me one last time before he leaves. I look over at Gon who broke down. I take my free arm and hold his hand. He looks up at me with watery eyes.
Gon: How can he do that to you?
Me: My family's different Gon
Gon: I know that but-
Me: Are you ok?
Gon: Do you want the truth or-
Me: I want the truth
Gon: Then no, I'm not ok
Me: We're getting out of here-
The door swings open and Illumi stands there staring at both of us.
Illumi: Aw look who broke his chains again, guess we're going to have to use more than one
He grabs the chains off the table and puts my arms back up and chains me up more than before.
Illumi: There, now next time don't threaten anyone
Me: Next time? There won't be a next time. If someone hurts Gon anymore I will kill them
Hisoka: How sweet~
Me: Shut your mouth you clown!
Hisoka: *walks over to Gon*
Me: You get away from him!
Hisoka: *touches Gon's face* What are you going to do?
Illumi: Hisoka don't piss him off anymore we don't have anymore chains *walks away* We'll be back by the way
Hisoka: Aw come on I was just starting to have fun-
Illumi: Let's go Hisoka
Hisoka: Fine~
They both leave and shut the door behind them. I tried to get out of the chains and break them but couldn't.

The Glyph Queen
When Winnie was thirteen, her settlement taught her how to fire a rifle. Her school practiced drills in case raiders came, and the town grew crops in their greenhouse-adapted homes, which were the only places warm enough during the worldwide nuclear winter. The Lakiran empire invades—a corporate-born nation overseen by their corporate-born queen, Victoria Paladino. They ride silent planes whose repulsion field veered bullets away. Three years of occupation later, an exemplar visits—a member of Victoria’s oversight committee rumored to read minds. He tells Winnie that she may have a unique mental power, or a flair. At the empire’s capital, the queen herself tutors Winnie to help her reach the full potential of whatever power she may have. Meanwhile, in post-war Nigeria, a streetwise teenager named Naema sees a different side of the empire. Between corruption and oppression, everyone lives in squaller. People fight over assembled food pastes. She too is told she has a unique flair, not by the empire, but by a fugitive woman who is the last vestige of an ancient witch coven, and she knows a dark secret about what the exemplars do to people like Winnie and Naema. Updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The most recent chapters of The Glyph Queen are available on its main website.

Unburnt
He remembered being a better person, in another life. That was before he was reborn into a royal family of unparalleled power, and into a world that wouldn't feel out of place in a fantasy series. Seriously. There was magic and everything, it was totally whack. Self-Insert with angst, mental issues, and no knowledge of Avatar: The Last Airbender. This story doesn't belong to me.
