Killuas POV
After we had all changed I pulled gon outside.
"Gon, you are too amazing" I whispered and he giggled.
"Killua, what's up??"
What is up??
"Nothing, I just wanted some alone time with my bae" I whispered and he giggled more, kissing me.
"Well we should get back to the others!" He said and pulled me back into the hotel.
After we hung out and ate dinner we decided to go to the beach again... at night.
"It's so pretty!!" Gon said, amazed.
It was, The sky was sprinkled with stars, the kind of thing you don't see very often in the city.
"We should find a place for our fire" pika told us and Kate chased us around until we found the perfect spot.
We layed down some blankets and started a fire.
"Time for spooky stories!" Trystan said.
"Kurapika you should go first, your a great storyteller!" Leorio said and Kurapika cleared his thought.
"Once apon a time... there was a beast named the bungalo. Every night he would come out and haunt children in there sleep, giving them bad dreams-"
"Bro, that's horrible, bad dreams! It's not scary!!" I complained.
"Just wait!!" Kurapika said annoyed.
"The scary part was after he haunted there dreams one member of there family would die, and the person who died usually also died in there dream." Kurapika finished.
"That's it?" Kate said bored.
"It wasn't that bad!" Kurapika laughed.
"It was... umm trystan you should go next" gon said and pika pouted.
"Hmm, ok well once there was a girl who lost there phone, the end."
I shivered.
"Now that was scary..." Leorio and Kate whispered and Kurapika just threw sand in there faces.
"AHA!! STOP KURAPIKA!!" Kate laughed and got up, accidentally putting way too much sand on the fire.
"Oops..." she said.
"Kate, you put the fire out!" I moand and she giggled.
"I think it's fine, it's kinda nice like this" trystan said and we all layed on our backs. I pulled gon closer and we bundled up in our blanket.
"Oh! There's the Big Dipper!" Trystan whispered, pointing at the sky.
"We can't see where your pointing trystan, there's literally so many stars" I said and gon giggled.
"Good point.." she responded.
"No I can see it!" Kurapika said and pointed.

"Guys stop pointing, we have no idea where your pointing at." Kate said anything.
"Haha sorry" Kurapika said and we stayed silent for a while.
"I heard some whispers and looked in the detection to see Leorio and Kurapika mumbling silently to eachother.
They seem closer then usuall... Hmm?
"Hey guys..." Kate whispered suddenly.
"Yeah?"
"We should play tag." She quickly jumped up and shouted "I'm it!! AHAHA" she tagged all of us before we could even move.
"Kate that was no fun, you got us right away" gon piuted and Kate giggled.
"Haha sorry, well let's restart. Umm the boundaries is just the whole beach."
"That's really big" I said and Kate smirked.
"That's the fun of it"
"Ok go!"
We all ran in different detections.
Hmm where should I go?
I started to walk in towards the water. Once I reached it, I tipped my toes in and started to hum a old song I knew. Everything was so quiet, I could hear the faint shouts and screams of my friends in the background.
"Killua..."
Chrollo!!
I whipped my head over, looking for the source of the familiar noice.
No one was there.
What... did I just imagine Chrollos voice?
"Whatever"
I continued to hum and look at the stars.
Something suddenly grabbed my back and before I could make a noice my mouth was covered by cold hands.
"Killua it's me!" I heard gon whisper and take his hands away.
"I didn't want to scare you" he said.
"Well you did exactly that" I giggled.
"We should start walking so Kate finds us."
"Ok"
We walked in silence for a bit until I heard fast footsteps behind us.
"Oh no! It's Kate, run!!" We both ran in opposite detections and Kate chased me.
I think I'm faster then her...
She chased me for a while until she showed to a stop and fell down.
"I give up!!" I heard her shout, and giggled and I walked over.
"I was just too good for you" I said, laughing.
"No way!"
Everyone slowly came out from where they had been, and we found our fire.
"I think we should head back, it's getting late" Kurapika said and so we all packed up our blankets and left.
Once we were in the hotels we got to our rooms and I jumped into bed.

"Hey, killua?" Gon whispered, next to me.
"Yeah?"
"I love you" he giggled and nuzzled his nose against my neck. I shivered and turned towards him.
"I love you too"
We fell asleep, cuddling.
"Ok, everyone get packed up, we're leaving in an hour!!" We heard Kurapika shout from the living room.
"Ughhh" Gon moand and sat up.
"No, gon it's too early" I whispered and pulled him back down.
"Killua, we have to get up!!" He giggled.
"No."
I hugged him so he wouldn't move.
"Killua! I can give you hugs anytime, just not now, ok?"
I pouted but pulled away.
"Fine"
He smiled and got out of bed.
We went into the living room/kitchen and helped everyone pack there things. Afterwards, we ate some breakfast and stuffed all of our things into Kurapikas car.
"Well, we have three hours till we have to leave. What should we do?" Kurapika asked us all and we just shrugged.
"We can go into town and look at cute beach shops" trystan suggested.
"That sounds fun!" Gon said, in his usual cheerful mood.
"Yeah, leta do it." I said and we signed out if the hotel and god into pikas car.
Once we were more in the city we parked and got out near a mini mall.
"Let's go there first!" Kate shouted, pointing at a really creepy toy store.
"Umm, no way" Leorio said
"I think that place looks cute!" Trystan said pointing at an antique store.
I looked around, seeing all the other stores and immediately stopped after I set my eyes on one.
"We need to go there." I mumbled, and everyone looked at me.
"Where...?" Gon asked, but then followed the trail of my eyes and monad.
"Fine! But then after we will go to the antique store"
I started my way to the store and everyone else except gon seems really confused.
"Wait guys!" Kurapika said and walked after us.
I walked into the store and immediately smelled the strong smell of chocolate, after all this was a candy store.
"Ok, so first let's look at chocolates and then fudges and then gummies" I said and everyone just followed.
Once we had gotten enough candy, and I had gotten my favorite chocolate robos, we left the store.
"Finally, now let's go to the antique store!" Trystan said and we all walked in. It smelled like old grandmas and was really dirty looking.
"Umm, I'll be over here" I said, pointing in the detection of the clothes and trystan followed.
Wait this is kinda awkward... trystan is gons ex... I've never realized before.
"Umm, that's cute!" I said, pointing at a oversized shirt.
"Yeah! Good eye"
This. Is. So. Awkward.
"Oh this is amazing!!" She said, looking at a pair of shoes.
I looked over her shoulder and saw a pair of vans.
"Woah- those are actually really cool." I said and she nodded.
"Too bad, there really expensive."
They were way too much money, they were $100.
"Hmm, yeah too bad" was all I could think to say.
She just nodded and then looked up.
"I think I'm gonna go find everyone else" she started to walk in the detection of everyone when I stopped her.
"Trystan, umm this is kinda awkward..."
She looked confused.
"What is it killua?"
"Are you sure... umm are you sure you don't care that I'm dating gon?"
She looked really surprised.
"Of course I don't care! I broke up with him so that he could be with you, plus your way too cute together!!" She laughed and I just blushed.
"Ok, thanks"
She smiled and we both walked over to everyone.
"Everyone hurry, I have something important tonight, we have to start driving back" Leorio told everyone and we all started our way to the car.
Once we were all in, we looked at what we bought, some clothes, candy, some cursed looking stuff we got for fun, and we each got one special souvenir.
"Well, let's go!!" Kurapika said and we all zoomed onto the highway.
We started playing the radio, and once we found a Song we liked we had a car-dance party.
Our conversations slowly changed from the famous actor Hisoka, who got arrested for something, all the way too how the sky was blue.
And we did this for two hours.
When we were back, I said goodbye to everyone, and me and gon went up to our dorm.
"Ughh, I'm exhausted!!" I said, walking into my room and falling on my bed.
"I am too" gon said, following.
"That was really fun" I whispered and he mumbled in agreement.
"Thank you for being my boyfriend, killua" gon suddenly mumbled and my face lit up.
"Of course, gon."

The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

Witnesses say that the angels blaze appeared back in the eighties. A dazzling light ripped through the sky all across the world. People say they saw a rainbow of colors bathing the sky. The light was a breaking of the veil, the veil to my world. Now creatures from my side of the veil are breaking through and it's my job to keep them back and protect all the humans.
