《Love on Top》Christmas Special

It was Christmas morning and five creatures were stirring. Sam and Daphne were still sleeping in their beds during this morning because they both agreed that waking up early on a Monday was the worst thing in the world, and it was ungodly.

"Don't you think it's a little weird that we're both in college and still waking our parents up early on Christmas morning?" Ajani asked his sister outside of their parents' bedroom.

"No," She replied.

"Of course you wouldn't," Ajani pulled a straight face.

"Whatever. Just shut up and help me wake them up," Asha shook her head.

"No way. Remember the last time we woke Mom up early?" Ajani asked.

"No," She shook her head.

"It figures that you wouldn't remember something that didn't directly effect you," He grumbled.

"Oh wait. Didn't she throw a shoe or something at you?" Asha asked.

"Yeah and it hurt like crap," Ajani replied.

"It's not my fault you got hit. You should've just dodged it," Asha told him.

"You're so unsympathetic to your older brother that it hurts," Ajani scowled ya her.

"Yeah I am," Asha smirked.

"I really want to choke you sometimes," Ajani truthfully said.

"Do it and I'll scream," Asha threatened. The two started bickering outside of their parents room as usual whenever they see each other.

Meanwhile in San and Daphne's room, they were both fully awake and listening to their grown children bicker like five year olds outside their door. Sam sighed loudly.

"Can I-"

"No because then you'll go to prison and I'll have to raise the twins and Ade on my own," Sam cut her off. Daphne huffed in irritation. Sam kissed her forehead.

"Now come on so we can open presents," Sam told her.

"Ugh! Do I have to?" Daphne groaned.

"Yes, you have to," Sam replied. Daphne begrudgingly got out of bed.

"Let me go shower or whatever," She mumbled.

"Mind if I join you?" Sam asked as he got out of bed.

"You joining me in the shower is what led to the twins," Daphne giggled.

"I wouldn't mind having another," Sam smirked.

"No way. I am not having anymore of your kids. You're just getting me pregnant just to get me to stay with you," Daphne shook her head.

"And it's been working for twenty-one years," He chuckled.

"I hate you," Daphne mumbled. Sam walked over and kissed her.

"I love you too," He smiled. Daphne couldn't but to smile.

After Sam and Daphne showered, they got the twins and Ade from their rooms. Ade, who was now two, had already started to wake up and she was very grouchy and whiny. The one year old twins, Malik and Iman, were up and ready for the day like the morning people they were. Sam and Daphne carried their children downstairs together. Daphne and Sam found Asha and Ajani sitting at the Christmas tree together with excitement written on their faces. it brought a smile on Sam and Daphne's faces to see their children, who were in their early twenties, excited for Christmas like they used to be when they were little.

"It's cute that you guys are still excited about Christmas, but it's not cute that I had to wake up to you two bicker like children," Daphne said.

"Sorry," Ajani and Asha mumbled.

"Oh no. It's fine," Daphne said and smirked, "I'll get you back later." Asha and Ajani shuddered.

"Anyways, let's get to unwrapping presents," Daphne smiled, "Isn't that right, ladybug?" Daphne picked up Ade and blew raspberries on her neck. Ade laughed joyfully as her mother continuously blew raspberries on her neck. Sam walked into the room with his camera and tripod in hand. He set it up and pointed it directly at Asha and Ajani. As for Malik and Iman, they were currently sitting in their little play pen together.

"Mom, do they have to be in there?" Asha asked.

"Yes. Unless you want them helping you unwrap your other gifts before you get the chance to," Daphne answered.

"Fair enough," Asha said.

"Eh. I don't mind a little help," Ajani stood up and picked up Iman. Ajani and Iman were very attached to each other and always have been ever since Iman was a baby. Iman has always stuck to Ajani no matter what. Sometimes she'll want no one else, but Ajani to pick her up and her big brother was okay with that. Ajani day back down with Iman in his lap. Pretty soon, Malik started to cry since his sister wasn't near him. Asha sighed and got up. She picked up Malik and placed him in her lap.

"Sam are you ready?" Daphne asked.

"I am," Sam responded.

"You guys ready?" Daphne questioned.

"Yeah," They answered in unison. Sam pressed the button to record. Ajani and Asha began opening presents with the help of their siblings who were just ripping the wrapping paper for fun.

"This one is for you, Mom," Ajani handed Daphne a large wrapped up gift. Daphne hugged him and Ajani kissed her forehead.

"Thank you," She softly said.

"You're welcome, Momma," He said.

"Oh wow. That gift isn't as big as the one you'll get later," Sam remarked. Daphne gasped and soon she started to choke.

"There's children present, Dad," Asha grimaced.

"I'll get the water," Ajani sighed. He picked up Iman and took her to the kitchen so he could get his mother some water.

"They can't understand me," Sam waved her off.

"Are you okay, mama?" Ade asked. Daphne coughed and nodded.

"Daddy hurt mamma," Ade frowned.

"Daddy hasn't done nothing yet," Sam said.

"Eww! Stop!" Asha exclaimed. Sam started cracking up. Ajani walked back into the room with Iman in his arms and a glass of water in his hand. He handed it to his mother who gave him a smile. She took a sip of the water. Daphne set it down and looked at Ade.

"I'm fine, baby. Daddy didn't hurt me," Daphne assured her.

"Not yet at least," Sam muttered.

"Oh my God! Stop!" Daphne exclaimed. Sam laughed again.

"Dad, can you allow Mom to at least open her gift?" Ajani asked.

"Fine. Fine. I'll stop," He murmured.

"Thank you," Ajani day on the couch next to his mother. Daphne began opening her big gift. She pulled out a large pink, fur coat.

"Uh-uh. You didn't," She looked at Ajani.

"I did," Ajani smirked. Not only did Ajani go to school, but he was modeling on the side as well, which meant that he made a lot of bank too so he could afford to buy his mom a three hundred coat along with some other expensive gifts for the rest of the family. Daphne leaned over and kissed her son repeatedly on his cheek.

"You're such a sweetheart," Daphne gushed. Ajani chuckled. Iman became upset and pushed her mommy's face away from her brother.

"How are you gonna push my face away?" Daphne asked Iman. She pinched her cheek softly and Iman moved it away. She placed it in her mother's lap. They each laughed.

"Thank you so much, Ajani," Daphne said.

"You're welcome, Mom," He smiled.

"I can't believe you bought her that," Sam shook his head.

"I have to have my mom looking bad and boujee," Ajani shrugged. Sam chuckled.

"She already looks bad and boujee without it," Sam said.

"And you know it," Daphne spoke up.

"Kiss up. Open your gift from me," Asha said. She got up with Malik in her arms and a present in her hand. She handed the present to Daphne.

"Thank you, Asha," Daphne smiled.

"You're welcome," Asha smiled back. Daphne set aside her coat and then started opening Asha's gift. She removed the box and then she gasped.

"Are these-?"

"Yep," Asha grinned.

"What? What is it?" Sam asked.

"I can't believe you got me these mermaid handle make up brushes," Daphne replied.

"Only the best for my mother," She grinned.

"These gifts are so sweet. Thank you," Daphne smiled.

"You're welcome," Asha and Ajani said in unison.

"Hold on. What about my gift? You can't just leave Papa Bear out of the equation," Sam said.

"Oh yeah. You can't forget Papa Bear," Daphne rolled her eyes.

"Roll your eyes again and I'll take it back," He threatened.

"Ooh! I'm so scared," Daphne sarcastically said.

"Kids, your mother is a prime example of why some people get a box of hot coal for Christmas," Sam looked over at his children.

"Kids, your father is a prime example of husbands who end up sleeping on the couch during Christmas for giving their wives a box of hot coal," Daphne said.

"Just open the present," Sam deadpanned. Asha handed her mother the small box from her father.

"I wonder what's in here," Daphne smiled.

"Open it and find out," Sam smartly said.

"Oh man. We don't have enough time," Daphne ignored him.

"What the hell? We've got the entire morning," Sam said.

"Oh darn. I guess we'll have to wait till later," Daphne feigned disappointment, "Come on, Ade. Let's open up your gifts." Ade climbed down the couch slowly and ran over to the tree. Daphne started to walk over there, but Sam wrapped his arms around her waist. He pulled her close to him and whispered a few words into her ear. Ajani and Asha watched as their mother tensed up from what their father was saying to their mother. Sam kissed Daphne's cheek with a smirk on his face.

"I think he just said something nasty to her," Asha whispered to her brother.

"I think he did too," Ajani whispered back.

The rest of the morning was filled with Sam recording Ade and the twins opening their , which were toys galore and some clothes, along with Daphne who finally opened her present from Sam, which was a new wedding ring. Finally, it was Sam's turn. Daphne sat her husband down on the couch and then handed him his presents. Sam mostly received clothes, a new watch, cologne, new sneakers, and clothes again.

"I have one final present for you from me," Daphne said.

"Oh really?" Sam asked.

"Yes," Daphne grinned. She handed him a long slender, gold box with a bow on top. Sam looked at her quizzically.

"Open it," She excitedly said.

"Alright alright," He responded. Sam opened the box and he looked down to see a pregnancy test in there. Sam felt tears begin to come to his eyes as he sat there. Daphne zoomed the camera in on his reaction.

"I can't....oh my...." He just laughing as he cried. Daphne giggled and walked over to kiss him. Sam hugged her and kissed her cheek. Ajani and Asha looked at the box and smiled.

"We're gonna have another sibling," Ajani and Asha told the twins and Ade excitedly.
