《Love on Top》Ch.54

It was now the day of Arabella and Fredrick's wedding. After a few months of planning and such, they were finally getting married. I was so happy for the both of them because they were finally getting married to each other. This made me very excited for my own, which is in a couple of months.

As for Daphne, she was somewhere in the part of the church helping Arabella get into her dress and doing her hair and make up while I was sitting in another part of the church with my groomsmen tux on as Ajani sat in my lap.

"So how does it feel to get married to the woman of your dreams?" I asked.

"It feels almost like a dream of some sorts," Fredrick truthfully responded.

"If this is a dream then your previous engagement was a nightmare," Fredrick's cousin remarked.

"Oh God. Don't remind me," Fredrick groaned. I was really happy for Fredrick for finding a woman that loved and appreciated him unlike that she-devil of a soon-to-be sister-in-law of mine.

"He's right. Arabella is a thousand steps up from Sidney," I agreed.

"I know and I'm more than grateful for Arabella. Had I not broken off that engagement to Sidney then I would've been a miserable man stuck in a horrible marriage," Fredrick said.

"Well now you'll be a happy man stuck in a happy marriage with one of the greatest women in the world," His dad told him. We all hummed in agreement.

"Just think that after today, it's your turn in a couple of months," Fredrick said. I smiled.

"Yeah I can't wait," I replied as Ajani tried putting my ring finger in his mouth.

"I'm so glad that out of the four us that Daphne is happy. She was much more miserable than me," Fredrick remarked.

"She was, but she's getting better now," I took my finger away his mouth.

"That's good to hear. As long as you both are happy then that makes Arabella and I happy," He responded. A knock sounded on the door.

"Come in!" Fredrick said. The door opened to reveal Daphne.

"Wow. Don't you boys look handsome," She smiled.

"Well you know," I smirked, "Perfection takes time."

"Is it too late to kick him out of the wedding?" Daphne asked Fredrick.

"I've tried, but he keeps coming back," Fredrick answered. They both started laughing when I pulled a straight face.

"Oh. Ha ha," I rolled my eyes.

"Daphne, did you need anything?" Fredrick asked.

"Umm...yeah I did. Your Mom told me to tell you boys to be out there in a few minutes," She informed.

"Oh. Is it time already?" Fredrick's dad looked down at his watch.

"Yes, sir it is," She nodded.

"You heard the young lady. Let's get a move on," Fredrick's dad said.

"I'll see you handsome guys out there," Daphne smiled.

"You too, Daphne," Everyone responded. She walked out of the room. As soon as the door closed, Fredrick put on the jacket that matched his attire as did the rest of the men. Since I was already dressed with Ajani, I didn't need to do much except make sure nothing was wrinkled.

The wedding ceremony for Arabella and Fredrick was quite beautiful. It was such a great feeling to see Fredrick finally getting married to someone that loves and cares for him so much like Daphne does to me.

"Excuse me, sir. I saw you from across the room and I wanted to know if you'd dance with me," I heard Daphne say from right behind me. I smiled softly.

"I'm sorry, miss, but I don't think that my fiancé will like it if I dance with you," I said.

"Oh don't worry about her. It's not like we're having sex with each other," She giggled.

"That may be true, but my fiancé is a very possessive woman," I remarked.

"I'm sure I can handle her," She smiled.

"You drive a hard bargain, Miss," I sighed with a smile, "I guess one dance couldn't hurt."

"No it could not," She agreed.

"Mrs. Winchester, do you mind holding my munchkin?" I asked.

"Sure, Sam. You two have fun," She replied.

"Thank you," I smiled. I stood up and placed my hand in Daphne's. She led me onto the dance floor. Once we were there, she turned to me and moved so close that our bodies were pressed against each other. I placed one hand on the small of her back and I took her hand into my free one. We both started to slow dance together.

"So, beautiful. You come here often?" I asked. Daphne giggled.

"You're so corny," She smiled.

"It was a valid question, Miss. I would like an answer," I said.

"No I do not come here often. This is actually my first one that I've enjoyed," She replied.

"Really?" I asked in surprise. I was actually surprised at this revelation.

"Yes it is, Sam," She responded, "The last wedding I went to was when my egg donor and Peter got married. I was in the wedding for sure, but I was banned from the reception because she didn't want her guests to see me eating or even be near the food. Because they felt bad with how cruel she was treating me, Chad and them snuck me some food in two styrofoam boxes that they managed to sneak to the wedding. They filled it with food and cake for me then left the wedding pretty early to give it to me."

"Has anyone ever told you that your mother is a horrible woman who should've never been legally allowed to take care of kids or be near them?" I asked.

"Nope, but I'm guessing that was what you were thinking," She replied.

"Well your mother is a menace to everything good within this world, including you, but we're not going to let her be a menace to us right in those moment because I am going to dance with you all night," I explained.

"All night?" She cocked an eyebrow with a smirk on her lips.

"Yes all night. Even without our clothes on in that big bedroom of ours that I need to get soundproofed," I replied. She laughed.

"Sam, you're a mess," She said.

"And you'll be one later on tonight when I'm inside of you," I murmured softly.

"That sounds wonderful," She said. I kissed her forehead.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. It's now time for the bride to throw the bouquet," Arabella's cousin Layla announced.

"Do you want to go catch it?" I asked.

"Nope. I'm already going to get married anyways," She responded.

"You're just afraid of not being able to catch it," I smirked.

"Pffft! No," She shook her head.

"Daphne," I said.

"Yeah," She sighed. I laughed.

"You never know until you try," I moved behind her and pushed her towards the throng of desperate women standing in front of the small stage where Arabella was. Arabella turned around and threw it backwards. The bouquet sailed over the crowd of women who were jumping up and down to try and grab it. The bouquet finally found its home in the hands of.....

"That's not fair! He's a guy!" One woman yelled.

"Oh my God! I can't believe he caught it!" Another yelled. I looked down at Daphne with the blush pink and white bouquet in my hands. She started laughing uncontrollably.
