It has been several wonderful weeks with Daphne and I have never been more happier in my life. She was a breath of fresh air for me and I was already contemplating making her my girlfriend. I hope she feels the same way as well. I really love being around Daphne because she's an amazing woman.

"Samuel,you've been zoning out for quite a while. Are you alright?" Daphne asked with concern in her voice.

"Don't worry. I'm fine," I gave her an assuring smile.

"Oh okay. That's good to hear," She smiled back.

"So what ride do you want to go on next?" I questioned.

"Maybe we can go on the Ferris wheel," She answered.

"Alright. Sure," I nodded. Today, I decided to take Daphne to Coney Island because I knew that she'd like to go to something like this. We get in the long line for the Ferris wheel. We stood there together silently as we waited for the line to move up. Once we were at the front of the line,we were able to get on after people got off. As we rode it,we talked and looked out at the city. Suddenly the Ferris wheel came to a stop at the top which gave us a beautiful view of the city.

"This is so beautiful," She gushed.

"Yeah it is," I murmured.

"I wish I could stay like this forever. Just sitting here and looking out at the city," She tells me.

"Me too,Daphne. Me too," I agreed. She looks at me and I look at her. My gaze travels down to her lips. I leaned in towards her and pressed my lips softly against hers. She was tense at first,but she relaxed as she continued to kiss me. The Ferris wheel begins working again as we kissed causing us to break away. I smiled at Daphne and she smiled back at me. When we were off the Ferris wheel,Daphne led me towards a stand that sold funnel cake.

"I take it that you want one?" I asked.

"Yep," She nods as she starts to take out her wallet. I put my hand over hers and shook my head.

"I got it," I answered.

"Thanks,but I can pay for my own funnel cake," She smiled warmly.

"I know. Just let me do this," I tell her.

"You've already done enough," She said.

"What would I look like if I let you pay?" I queried.

"The guy who actually let his girlfriend pay," She answered as we moved up in the line.

"Jesus. Just let the man pay," One of the people in line behind us said. We both looked at each other and laughed a little.

"You heard him. I'll pay," I tell her.

"Fine," She responded.

"Finally," The same voice replied. We chuckled. When we got to the front she orders her funnel cake and I paid. Once she got her funnel cake, we walked to a table that was fairly clean and sat down.

"How is it?" I asked.

"It's good," She answered.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Mhm," She nods. I grabbed the piece from her hand and ate it.

"Hey. That was rude," She tells me smiling. I shrugged with a smile.

"Sharing is caring," I simply stated.

"Whatever," She scoffed. After she,we, finished her funnel,we both went on more rides together before the fair officially started closing. As we walked out, we held each other's hand on our journey to the car. We both get in and drive in the direction of Daphne's house.

"Hey. Let's get ice cream," She tells me.

"Alright," I nodded. I really could go for some ice cream. I am glad that she said something. I drove down the road until I found one called Victory Garden. I parked the car before we both got out and went inside. I noticed that a few people were in here sitting at tables and eating ice cream. We both walked towards the counter and started looking at the ice cream. When one of the employees came over to ask us what we wanted, Daphne spoke up.

"Umm...may I please have the Chocolate with lavender," Daphne said.

"What size come?" The girl asked.

"I will have the doe," She murmured.

"Alright and for you, sir?" She asked.

"I will have the same as her," I answered.

"What size?" She queried.

"Doe as well," I answered.

"Alright. Will that be all for you?" She looked at us.

"Yes it will," I took out my card and handed it to her while they prepared the ice cream for us. She slides it hen hands it back to me before handing me the receipt. I signed one of the receipts then I was given the copy. I put that into my wallet before getting my ice cream with Daphne. We found a table and sat down across from each other while eating our ice cream. We started talking to each other about vey random things such as our childhood, favorite childhood tv shows, and favorite artists from when we were kids.

"My favorite show had to be between All That and Kenan and Kel," She tells me.

"I used to love All That," I murmured.

"What about Daria?" She asked.

"Daria was great too. Looking back at the show, she was very relatable," I replied.

"Yeah she was," She agreed.

"Do you have any other favorite movies?" I asked.

"Set It Off and Menace II Society," She answered.

"Set It Off and Menace II Society? Hm. Never heard of those before," I said.

"Well then I guess you're going to come over one day and watch them with me," She smiled.

"Sounds like a date," I smiled back.

"You'll love Menace II Society and Set It Off. They were both equally good movies in my opinion right next to Friday, The Color Purple, and Poetic Justice," She explained.

"I guess we're just going to have a full on movie night," I chuckled.

"I guess we are," She agreed.

"Now if I sound like a nerd then excuse me, but I really love Naruto," I confessed.

"Naruto? That show was great. I watched the first part of it when he was younger, but I haven't seen the second," She explained.

"Sadly, I have," I said.

"There is nothing wrong with that. We're all anime nerds on the inside," She tells me.

"Okay then. What is you favorite anime?" I asked.

"Dragon Ball Z. I used to plop down in front of the tv with my dad next to me and just watch it," She answered.

"Wow. That must've been a really big bonding experience," I remarked.

"It was and I like the fact that he would watch it with me was pretty great. Chad would sometimes join us when he wasn't doing his homework," She murmured.

"Your dad must've been a great man," I smiled.

"He was the best dad a girl could ask for. He was kind, caring, funny, optimistic, a little bit sarcastic, and he was hardworking. He made time for me and my siblings including my mother. He made sure that we all had a smile on our faces," She explained with a faint smile.

"I bet," I replied.

"So enough about me. Let's talk about you," She said.

"Okay. What do you want to know?" I asked.

"Anything," She shrugged.

"Hm. Let's see," I pondered. I thought back to when I was a kid. I suddenly found something that I wanted to talk about.

"So when I was fourteen, I was living in Taiwan with my parents at the time, I remember being home alone and turning on the record player in my parents home. I was in white socks, shades, my boxers, and a white button down," I started to explain.

"Oh God. You were one of those guys," She giggled.

"Hey. Hey. I thought this was cool back then," I said. She giggled again.

"Whatever you say," She murmured.

"Anyways. I was home alone and I was listening to Guns N' Roses albums along with Aerosmith, KISS, Alice Cooper, and the Beatles. I was practically dancing around my house without a care in the world. While I was dancing, I hadn't noticed that the front door had opened. When I turned around, I saw my parents and a business partner of my father's and his wife standing there. Embarrassed, I raced upstairs to my room and got dressed. My father was more than pissed off at me. He made me apologize multiple times to them for that 'obscene display' before grounding me for three months," I explained. She burst into laughter and started to snort as she laughed as people looked at our table. I chuckled softly with a smile on my face. She calmed down then apologized to everyone in the vicinity.

"That's even more embarrassing than the time I had gone to the lake with my older sisters and brother for spring break," She tells me.

"Oh I gotta hear this," I smirked. She sighed before telling the story.

"It was spring break of 2005 and we were going to my family's lakehouse in New Jersey. My mom and dad gave us permission to go because they felt like we were responsible and old enough to do that. Well one day my sister Regina dared me to go skinny dipping into the lake. Mind you that my brother Chad was inside sleeping," She said, "So me being the bravest and most dumbest person out of us said yes. They were cheering me on and saying that I could do it. I stripped naked then I jumped into the lake."

"How did it feel?" I asked.

"Warm but this isn't the embarrassing part. After I came up for air, I looked across the lake and saw another lake house directly across from ours. What I did not know was that there was a family of six, two adults and four kids. The parents stared in horror at what had transpired woke their kids point at me and laughed. So I jumped my ass out of that lake and ran inside to the house with what little dignity I had," She explained. I laughed softly at her story.

"That is embarrassing," I chuckled.

"Yeah it was. What's even more embarrassing is having to go into town and seeing the at the store," She added. I laughed with her. We continued takin and laughing with each other about more embarrassing situations that we have ever been in. I could never talk to Morgan about anything embarrassing or personal at all. She would just scoff and brush it off like it was nothing then complain about her perfect little life. But Daphne, she was different. She would laugh with me and tell me another equally embarrassing story about herself. I adored that about her
