《Mine.》Chapter 49

As I woke the sun was right in my eyes making me groan, shielding my face from the light. I heard a giggle from the other side of the room making me instantly uncover my face to sit up. Once I did, she was by the doorway of the bathroom. God was she beautiful, her hair looked wet from the shower and she was only wearing one of my plain black shirts.
"Good morning." her soft voice greeted as she walked over to me.
I couldn't help myself, grabbing her I lifted her over me; laying her on the bed before turning so I was on top of her. Surprised by my action she let out a shriek as her beautiful laugh made its way to my ears. I swear that's something I could listen to all day.
"Good morning." I greeted as my hand crept its way to her inner thigh, no shorts.
I watched as she blushed and her hands made there way to the back of my neck pulling until our lips connected. This girl really knew how to make my mornings, that was for sure. Moving my hand up I brushed my finger against her underwear receiving a moan into the kiss.
Before I could do anything else the doorbell rung making me groan. Whoever the hell that is I swear I'll kill them. It was her who broke the kiss making me even more mad. Lately I've been way more possessive of her and after last night I think I was far past possessive.
She smiled as she pecked my lips already sensing my anger, this was absolutely something I loved about her. I was so hotheaded and bad tempered but, Octavia understood that she even goes as far as to help me. Which she did I was slowly becoming better, not to mention how fast she can calm me down.

"Who's at the door?" she asked.
"I don't know but, I'll shoot them then we can-" I was stopped mid sentence by a slap to my arm.
"Ryder!" she said with slightly wide eyes and a smile.
"Kidding." I said half joking before making my way off the bed and grabbing the boxers from last night to put on.
"Your so stupid." I heard her mumble as I was about to leave until something hit my back, "Put some pants on will you." she said with a laugh as I turned to see pants on the floor.
"Only cause you asked princess otherwise I'd be completely naked right now." I said with a smirk that I knew had her blushing before grabbing the pants and leaving.
As I walked down the stairs I stopped for a second to put the pants on before the person started knocking now, by then I was irritated. Opening the door it revealed none other than Jeremy, Octavia's brother. I didn't know if I should give him one good punch to the face or greet him civilly. Octavia has been so hurt since her dad and brother haven't talked to her now here he was, took him long enough.
"Um..Maya said I could find Octavia here and I wanted to say this in person." he said looking very awkward might I add.
Octavia was in such a good mood I didn't want it to be destroyed by her brother. The ceremony yesterday went more amazing then expected, I knew everyone loved her already. I made sure to treat Octavia like a queen I know she is. Every now and then I would look at her seeing how happy she was.
Then this morning she was happy again, I knew most of it was because, of last night. Hell I was extremely happy she trusted me enough and was ready. Now her brother was here and I hoped he wouldn't ruin it.

"Jeremy?"
Shit.
"Hey Octavia." Jeremy said staring at her whole attire, probably getting the whole event that just took place well more like last night.
I turned seeing her, with shorts on now. That's a major bummer. I seen her glance to me before back at Jeremy as she walked over to stand by me.
"What are you doing here?" she asked as her hand almost instinctively went to hold my hand which I gladly took.
"I wanted to talk with you and apologize for shutting you out." he said all while looking at her.
"Well..." she said expectantly, "Let me hear it."
This made me smirk.
"Okay um." he paused as if thinking.
"Jeremy Hill did you seriously come over here and not even take a second to think of an apology before knocking?" she said hurt, even I knew this was a pathetic move.
"Pfft, I, no, what." he sounded just like Octavia when she goes panic mode, "Fuck Octavia this shouldn't be so hard I haven't seen you in two months nor texted you-"
"Your fault." she cut in matter of factly.
"I'm sorry okay, I didn't think it was gonna be so long I was just mad and I wasn't thinking about how everything made you feel until recently." he replied frustratedly.
Octavia didn't say anything, only stared at her brother. Probably wondering if she should forgive him or not.
"For fucks sake I miss you. I missed the last episode of our show together because, I couldn't watch it without you. I have to work in the shop alone, do you remember how creepy it is working there alone? I swear one day I'm gonna get possessed and lastly every time I get a pack of gum I think of you now so thanks for that." he ranted throwing his arms around as he explained every detail of his troubles.
I looked to her to see her holding back a smile while he said all this. If Octavia forgave him I would too as long as she was happy I was.
"Jeremy?" she said.
"Yes?" he said hopefully.
"I forgave you after the apology I just wanted too see if you would say how much you missed me." she said with a smile as she went over and hugged her brother who embraced her back.
"So we like him now?" I asked with a chuckle as she let go of her brother to come to me.
"Yes we do." she stopped in the middle of me and Jeremy before, "I know you guys have met but, I feel like now is under better circumstances so, Jeremy this is Ryder my boyfriend, who I love very much." she spoke making eye contact with me which made a smile come to my face, "And Ryder this is my obnoxious brother as you just seen right now." she finished with a laugh as her brother rolled his eyes.
"It's nice to meet you Ryder." Jeremy said finishing with, "Under better circumstances."
"Same too you." I spoke while grabbing Octavias hand and pulling her to me.
"Just take care of my sister she's the only best friend I've got." he said looking at her while she hugged me.
"Trust me..." I replied while looking down at her as she stared up at me, "I will." I finished kissing her lips.
How could I not want to take care of someone who I'm most definitely, undeniably in love with. Octavia was my everything, my queen, my light, my weakness and most importantly, mine.
