I sucked in a breathe of air so fast, it's him. Ryder was here, again, what's he doing here?

"U-um hi, w-what are you doing here?" damnit Octavia, again with the stuttering.

Ryder smirked, "To speak with Mr. hill is he here?"

My dad, what would he want with my dad? This time, Ryder had a plain black shirt on and some jeans with combat boots, he looked really good. I shook my head no to answer his question. No words would come out and my dad was still at the shop.

"Octavia, I'm gonna put on a movie okay?" Jake yelled to me from upstairs, before Ryder could say anything.

Shit, I jumped kind of scared, I forgot he was here. As I looked to Ryder he seemed kind of pissed again. Now I was just confused, why was he irritated.

I turned slightly and yelled back, "Yeah alright."

"Who's that?" he asked, jaw clenching.

"My best friend." I simply said, Ryder's hands turned into fists.

"Where's Mr. hill?"

"M-my dads still at the thrift shop." I couldn't stop the next words that just flew out of my mouth. "But, he should be back in about 10 minutes, do you want to wait here for him?"

Why did I say that, oh my god.

He looked at me kind of amused and simply nodded, "If that's okay with you?"

"Yeah perfect." I opened the door for him to come in.

When he did, he was so close when he passed me, his scent was intoxicating. I shut the door behind him and turned around, leaning against the door. I felt butterflies fill my stomach.

Then Jake came running downstairs, "Who was at the door?"

Once he got to the bottom he looked at Ryder confused and Ryder had a more intimidating look.

"Who's this?" he said coming and standing next to me.

I sighed, Jake was always so protective. He was about to hold my hand but, I moved it quickly crossing my arms over my chest.

"This is Ryder, Ryder this is Jake my best friend." I looked at Jake. "He's gonna wait for my dad to get home."

He eyed Ryder suspiciously before simply nodding and going to the kitchen. Fatass, he always eats my food. I moved to the living room while Ryder followed me.

My living room wasn't anything special we had a couch facing the tv which was against the wall. And another two couches on either side of a coffee table. Which was placed in the middle of the area. When I sat on the couch, he sat on the one opposite from me to face me. His stare was too intense so I looked down, a thought did cross my mind.

How do I always end up seeing him when I originally thought I'd only ever see him once?

"I'm guessing he said sorry?" he suddenly spoke up through the silent room, I looked up confused.

"What happened at the club." he explained more.

"Oh y-yeah." I replied nervously, fiddling with my hands in my lap.

"And you forgave him?" he asked, irritation laced in his tone.

"U-um yes." I mumbled, glancing up to meet his narrowed eyes.

"Why?" he questioned aggressively.

Geez, what was with this guy. What did it matter that I forgave my best friend. For something he did to me, not him.

"He's my bestfriend." I stated.

"Doesn't excuse what he did." he remarked, raising an eyebrow.

"I know that but, he said he'd make it up to me." I replied, trying to reason with him.

"How?" By now he was so angry, even a blind person could tell.

But, why though?
