《The Sun and Moon and Stars✔》The Mark

I was trying to sleep, key word: trying, but Marcus kept kissing me. It went from my cheek, to my neck, then down my shoulders. His hands trail up my bare legs, making me shiver. I bite my lip and shift, now laying on my back. My eyes flutter open, meeting his chocolate ones. Marcus immediately leans down, kissing me deeply.
"We're supposed to be asleep," I lightly reprimand, my hands trailing up his broad chest.
He pulls away, looking down at me with hooded eyes. "I'm aware."
I chuckle softly. "We have a secret mission tomorrow, remember?"
"I do," he nods, "but I can think of better things to do besides sleeping."
"Is that so?" I hum, then kiss him with more fire, my hand cupping his neck.
Marcus growls in approval, pulling my leg over his waist. His fingers tangle into my already messy hair. I moan, feeling his erection snug against my core. My hips move on their own accord, seeking that pleasurable friction.
Just when I shift, straddling his hips, the door swings open. We both freeze, heads whipping towards the door. An out-of-breath Clent stands there, the fire in his eyes blazing. My eyes widened, instantly forgetting my lust.
"What are you---?"
Before I can even finish, he stomps over to me. Marcus's hands grip my hips protectively, like Clent might hurt me. A low growl, this time not sensual at all, rumbles out of his chest, as he stares at my beloved.
When he reaches me, Clent just stands there, chest heaving. I open my mouth to speak, but before I can, he snatches up my left hand, inspecting it like I may have 20 fingers. When he doesn't find what he's looking for, he grabs the other.

As soon as our hands touch, it feels like something explodes within me. Our palms glow a bright white and I have to close my eyes. When I can tell its dimmed, I peak an eyes open. There, in the dead center of my right palm, is a mark of sorts.
It's a crescent moon inside of a sun with six beams. At the end of each beam is a twelve pointed star. Two of the stars are glowing. I look up and see that Marcus and Clent are staring at me. I raise a brow and they both seem to read my silent question, showing me their palms. It's the same except theirs has a huge star in the center of the sun, which is glowing as brightly as the two stars on mine.
Then I realize, my stars is them and theirs is me. I hop off of Marcus and run into the bathroom. The guys don't even say anything. When I'm all the way in the shower, furthest away from the door, I look back down at me hand. The two stars have dimmed considerably. A smile spreads onto my face and I run back into the room. All the guys are there now, looking sleepy and confused as to why their hands are glowing.
I too look back down at a my hand, all the stars are glowing brightly again. I feel a tug in my chest at finally being completely connected. I had seen this when I had the vision of our future, but didn't expect it to come so soon.
"We're connected you guys. You're official stuck with me now," I say with a with a little joyful giggle.
Alaric looks down at his hand, then back up at me. "So....like married?"

I think about it then shrug. "I guess you could say that."
Cas just looks me up and down with a smirk. "You look sexy when you're happy."
I roll my eyes, slapping his chest. "Why are you always so horny?"
He looks at me like I'm crazy. "Have you seen yourself!?"
I go to respond, but Kelen cuts in murmuring, "For in the heart, there is a string, that ties them to another."
Clent hums in thought. "So this is the start of the end of the prophecy." Kelen nods. I too start to recall the words of the prophecy.
"What about the 'a new life shall be, in the stomach of thee' part?" Alaric asks. They all immediately look down at my stomach. I blush, looking away.
"I think we can check that off the list," Marcus mutters. We all turn to him and he shrugs. "You guys don't hear it? She has two heart beats, or that's why it seems like."
Kelen's eyes widened slightly and he's on his knees, hands on my stomach, before I can even blink. He presses his ear to me and just sits there. We all hold our breath, waiting for his reaction. After what feels like a life time, he pulls back and looks up at me.
To my surprise, his dark eyes are watery, causing mine to water too. Kelen stands slowly, pulling me into his arms. The hug is soft and gentle, like he's afraid to break me. His head is buried in my neck, while his hand strokes down my hair soothingly. I love both the soft and rough sides of Kelen; I love every part of them all.
"Fuck it," I hear someone say then another body embraces me from behind. From just the smell of fire wood and burning marshmallows, I can tell its Clent. After that, the other guys join in until we're all in a huge group hug.
We stay like that for forever, I want to say. It feels like nothing mattered before them. All I know now is the June after them.
Sorry I didn't update yesterday, it totally slipped my mind. I hope you guys had a decent Easter though, all things considered. There's only a couple of chapters left😫❤
