《The Sun and Moon and Stars✔》Make It Stop

I didn't jump back like I should have. I only flinched, then got in my attack stance.

If only I could actually shift, I whisper yelled in my head, hoping it would awake my monster. No such luck.

I grabbed the person's hand, pulling them forward, then kicked my leg up and hooked it around their neck. Once it was over their shoulder, I propelled myself off the ground with my other foot and used the momentum to get myself fully seated on their shoulders. The male beneath me snarled, but I quickly found the pressure point on his Collarbone Cleft and pushed it as hard as I could. Like an off button, he began to fall forward. Once he was low enough, I kicked my legs out, stopping his head and myself from hitting the ground.

I lowered his head gingerly then got off of the massive man. Just looking at his obsidian hair, I knew it was the Shadow Keeper from before. I sighed heavily knowing that it was him I had taken out. I should have put up a real fight for what he did to me. If there's anything I knew about Shadow Keepers from the book of Supernatural History, was that they never stayed down for long. Their shadows were always watching. That made him all the more dangerous.

Fixing my bun, because I wanted to aleast look good kicking ass, I searched the man's pockets. A sliver key, useful if I found where it went. A syringe filled with clear liquid, which scared me knowing that it was probably for me. The last thing I sought fit to swipe was a small vial of blood, warm to the touch. I sloshed it about, trying to thoroughly inspect it with my human senses. It might be Alaric's blood, seeing as I felt such a strong pull to drink it. My mouth began to water the longer I held it.

Before I knew what was happening, I was unscrewing the cap and gulping down its contents. It was as if I had downed hot tomato soup on a frigid night, but the taste was almost...spicy like cinnamon, kind of explaining why it was warmer than normal. Even in my human form this blood was addictive. I craved it more than my will to breathe and I think I forgot how to. The same thing happened to me as when I touched Alaric, but the images were different. It was flesh on fire, fingers pulling at hair. Steamy moments of passion, but heated discussions followed up by space.

Everything was too hot. I was overwhelmed with the burn of the images, the blood. Dropping the vial and letting it shatter, I ran out of the room. I banged on door after door, trying to find any source of water, but they were all locked. I tried to use the key, but my hands were shaking too much to put it in the keyhole. That's the problem I was struggling with now. I turned it to the left, but couldn't seem to actually get the stupid thing in. Screaming out my frustration, I gave up an continued running back down the dull, grey hallway. At this point I was sweating from head to toe, panting like a mutt. My vision was beginning to blur, my head pulsing. That's when I ran into to something hard, falling on my ass and just simply.... giving up.

I let my eyes shut, my hands going to my sweat soaked hair and pulling at it. The pulsing pain and heat was spasmodic, almost worse than if it was consistent. I didn't know where it ended and a new wave began. "Make it stop," I pleaded, my voice breathless and dry from dehydration. "Please, make it stop."

I may have been hallucinating at this point, but I could have sworn someone said. "I'll make it stop. I promise." Then arms pulled me up, the pain and burning ceasing and consciousness once again slipping my grasp.
