i was not prepared for what was waiting for me.
in fact, i was so happy about last night that i completely forgot about the fact that i skipped mr gordon's after school lesson.
"i'm sorry sir" i told him, "it won't happen again. it was my dad's birthday and-"
"shut up and stop lying to me bitch" he hissed.
i flinched at the way he spoke.
"you will do as i say and i will not hear any complaints"
i was shaking. i couldn't believe that i'd ever let it get this bad and now i couldn't find a way out.
i only had one option; to do everything he wanted me to do.
after it was over, it was exactly 11pm. that was the latest he had ever kept me behind.
i ran in the direction of the library with tears streaming down my face and i didn't stop until i got there.
"why are you so late, dear?" asked janet.
but i ran straight past her and practically threw myself into my blue beanbag to hide my tear stained face.
"oh my god" gasped remus, "evelyn, what's wrong?"
he gently grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into a sitting position.
his voice immediately softened at the sight of me.
"ev, please tell me what's been going on" he whispered, pulling me into his chest.
he gave me some time to calm down whilst tracing patterns onto my back, and at one point he even lightly kissed the top of my head.
i loved how he calmed me down. i loved how soothing he was. i loved how he made everything better. i just really loved him.
as soon as my breathing had gone back to normal, he pulled me away from him to look into my eyes.

"now tell me what's wrong" he sighed.
"i'm so sorry, rey" i whispered.
"please explain, sweetheart" he said.
and even though i was actually dying inside, the pet name still gave me butterflies.
"my math teacher, mr gordon" i explained, "he gives me the extra lessons after school, but in return i have to do things with him. it's been going on for ages now and it gets worse every day. today was the worst punishment he's ever given me because i didn't show up to his lesson yesterday. i don't know what to do anymore, remus. i'm sorry that i let this happen"
"you don't have to apologise, evelyn" he told me, "this is all his fault. he's a sick old man and we'll expose him for what he really is, i promise"
"and i'm coming; nobody hurts my evelyn" said janet from across the room.
both remus and i smiled softly at her, and i think i fell asleep in his arms that night.
his arms were the safest place to be.

My Pixie Familiar
Pixies are real. Not only are they real, but are considered pests due to their mischievous nature and love of pranks. Some people think they are magical and making a potion or powder from their wings will transfer that magic to a person. Any good alchemist will tell you that is not true. Most will gladly take your money and make you a "magic potion" though. My name is Jase Fisher and I thought I would follow in the steps of my mother and become an alchemist since I didn't enjoy fishing, hunting, or any of the other trades offered in Beau Ferry, my village. Not only have I been looking forward to being an alchemist, I was looking forward to bonding with a familiar. My biggest fear is not bonding with one of the exciting familiars such as a dragonet. If I can just make it through the bonding process, my life is set. Oh, and not run afoul of any pixie pranks.

The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice
The elves are a race that pride themselves in the purity of their blood, in their natural beauty and in their mastery of archery. They love nature and hate those that defile it. Finch is nothing like them. He could care less about nature. The most elven thing about him is his ears and boyish face. He grew up enslaved by racist nobles and escaped the first chance he got. Taking odd jobs to make enough to get by, he honed his skill in the sword and became an adventurer. This is about how his first big assignment from the guild might change the kingdom *This is the first fiction I have ever written, please be gentle.* This fiction is now on pause as I rewrite it. I am also working on another story at the moment. I will rework this story and hopefully improve upon it before I re-upload it. Until then my other story will be taking most of my attention. Thank you.

Writing test
So... It has come to my knowledge that I need a proper synopsis to post/save this so here goes a thing: Someone dies, and what comes after seems to be like one of those myths of old where you are brought to the afterlife, except, this particular soul's afterlife doesn't seem like it will be comfortable, will it? WARNING: I am only writing this because I want to see how long I can keep writing from here and I am only posting it in RR because I like the display. I advise you do not start reading it but if you do, know that I PROMISE NOTHING. Pd: I write in the night settings so it may be needed to see.
