lily had dressed her up in a navy blue dress that she knew tom and octavia would love. octavia slipped it on as she looked in the mirror.

"damn avi this really complements your boobs." said lily as octavia slapped her arm, causing lily to smile.

"i guess you aren't letting me wear a bra?" asked octavia as she fixed the straps, them being a tad to loose.

"it has padding in it already." said lily. octavia nodded as lily stepped out, telling sebastian and robert to close their eyes. confusingly, the obliged and shut their eyes. down the hall, chris and the others were moving all the stuff to the small venue for the party. octavia walked out of the closet and into the bathroom as she lily yelled at sebastian for peaking.

"you're good now, didn't want you seeing the dress." said lily as she followed octavia into the bathroom, shutting the door behind them. robert smiled as he turned his attention back to the television.

"how does lily deal with avi?" asked robert. sebastian laughed and shook his head.

"the real question is how does avi deal with lily. shes fuckin crazy."

lily set the curling iron down, her hair in loose curls. her makeup finished and set as lily finally got to look in a mirror. her jaw dropped as lily worked wonders. she stood up and hugged lily tightly.

"thank you lil."

"anything for the birthday girl." lily kissed her cheek sloppily as octavia laughed, bringing the girl back into a hug.

"boys you ready?" yelled lily from the bathroom. the two screamed back yes as lily opened the door, revealing octavia. their jaws dropped as octavia spun out of the bathroom, the dress twirling with her. sebastian smiled widely as his sister had the biggest smile she's ever seen.

"you look gorgeous doll." sebastian stood up and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to his body. she relaxed as she held her in his arms, the comfort of being in his arms helped calm down any nervousness.

"you really do look stunning avi." said robert as he took octavia's hand and spun her. she laughed as she pulled him into his arms.

"thank you rob, i love you." she said as he hugged her tighter. he smiled as he placed a kiss on her head.

"i love you more."

robert had left the room as octavia sat on the bed, the time being 5:15. when octavia was in the bathroom, lily snuck out her dress and sebastian snuck out his suit and placed it in toms room. they sprinted back as octavia walked out of the bathroom. she smoothed out any wrinkles as she saw lily and sebastian's chest rise up and down rapidly.

"why does it look like you two just ran a marathon?" she asked as she bent down and grabbed her black heels she had just gotten from her father. as soon as sebastian was gonna explain, her phone rang. she looked up and smiled. it was her mother.

"it's mom." said octavia as she answered the phone.

sebastian and lily smirked as octavia chuckled a sneaker at the two. lily squealed as she squished herself towards sebastian, missing the sneaker as sebastian wrapped his arm around her, her resting against his chest. octavia wiggled her eyebrows as sebastian was confused and lily flipped her off.

she mentally screamed as sebastian sat up, ready to defend octavia. lily mentally said a prayer that her dad wouldn't flip.

dad exhaled from the other end of the phone. her eyes got glassy as she got ready for her dads yelling. she looked over to sebastian for help, her heartbeat racing. he slowly stood up and made his way over to octavia, ready for her attack.

her heart stopped. she covered her mouth with her hands as sebastian was just as shocked. she removed her hand from her mouth as she could barley speak.

she hung up as she took a deep breath.

"that was really the best thing that i could have been told today. guess my old man isn't that bad."

at 6:30, tom knocked on the door, in a suit. sebastian and lily left at around 5:30, the two not returning yet. she put that to the back of her head as she opened the door, her immediately smiling.

"you look beautiful." said tom as he grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it again, him knowing it freaked her out last time. her knees buckled as she gripped onto tom. he smirked as he held both of her hands.

"i'm alright." she whispered as the blood rushed to her cheeks. she grabbed the room key and stuck it in her clutch. she locked arms with tom as he led her to his car. they got to the parking lot as he opened the door for her. she smiled and she stepped in.

he jogged around as he got into the drivers seat and started the car. he drove with one hand on the wheel and the other was holding octavia's, his thumb rubbing against her knuckles. they got to the venue as octavia cocked an eyebrow up at tom.

"is this the right place?" asked octavia. tom nodded as he smirked, octavia nothing but confused. he parked the car as he got out and opened the door for her. he grabbed her hand and helped her out of the car

they walked into the venue as tom had quickly texted someone something as he shoved his phone away. he led her down a hallway which ended infront of a room with the two big, closed doors.

"tom, what's going on?" she asked. tom smiled as slowly leaned forward and rested his forehead on hers. the two closed their eyes as they enjoyed the moment they were sharing. she felt his breath tickle her nose as it sent shivers everywhere.

"happy birthday darling, i love you." he whispered as he opened the door to the dark room. she walked in first as tom flipped the switch and everyone screamed 'surprise'. she yelled in return and jumped back into tom, him almost falling.

"my god." she whispered as tom laughed. she looked around to see the whole civil war cast, haz, lily. she saw tom hiddleston, aaron taylor johnson and chris hemsworth, her eyes widening. she never expected that they would fly all the way here for her. she covered her mouth as she ran over to then and wrapped her arms around them.

"what in asgard are you doing here?" said octavia as tom, aaron and chris hugged her tighter.

"what, you really thought we'd miss your eighteenth birthday?" said chris. "if you did, then you were very very wrong." tom added. "happy birthday love." said aaron. octavia smiled as they both placed a kiss on her forehead.

after multiple hugs and kisses octavia sat at the end of the long table, pink balloons tied to the back of her chair. she stood up which got everyone's attention.

"honestly, i was not expecting this at all, really. thank you for everyone who came, especially if you flew here from out of state. it means so much to me. as from what ive leaned, this was sebastian and toms idea. sebastian, you're the best brother a girl could ask for. you always care about my well being and always make sure i'm alright. we have an endless amount of memories, which i won't list off or else by the time i'm down sebastian would be able to apply for AARP." everyone laughed as sebastian playfully rolled his eyes, that being her favorite joke.

"i've loved you since the day i was born, and will always love you. you do so much for me, and i really couldn't thank you enough. i love you sebastian." sebastian smiled as he blew her a kiss. she caught it in the air and lightly placed her hand in her cheek. everyone smiled as octavia looked at tom.

"tom, you're something else." everyone laughed as tom looked up at her and smiled.

"you've care for me in a way nobody has. the little things you do mean so much. the unexpected hugs from behind, letting me have some of your fries when i've finished mine, our laughing fits over the dumbest things, out 1 am snack runs to the snack isle, the place that makes us broke, the night swims, the all nighters and the time when we almost bought the puppy. those memories will be with me forever. these two months have made me happy in a way i've never been. i can act normal around you and not have you judge me for the weird, crazy things i do. tom, jesus christ i freaking love you! i have since the morning we saw the sunrise together that beautiful may morning. you mean everything to me, and i wouldn't trade you for anything. you make me the happiest person alive." she admitted, everyone's simultaneously saying 'awe'.

tom pushed his chair back as he stood up. he cupped octavia's face as their lips smashed together, electricity flowing through their body. shocked, she kissed back, her hand going to the back of his neck as his hands moved to her waist. her hand went up the back of his head as her hands were tousled in his brown hair. the moment they've both been waiting for since their date two weeks ago, was finally happening. she pulled his face closer to hers as everyone screamed and yelled.

"he finally did it." said evans as he watched the two break the kiss and look at each other, their lips swollen and hearts racing.

"was that my birthday kiss?" she asked with a smirk. he chuckled as the memory from his birthday came back.

"it's not the only kiss you'll get though." he mumbled as she stood on the tips of her toes so he could kiss her again. lily, scarlett, lizzie and even haz all screamed as they clapped dramatically, fake crying. anthony looked at robert from across the table, his eyes widening.

"it's 10:36, it's still her birthday. hand it over downey." robert frowned as he pulled his wallet out and handed over the fifty. they broke the kiss once more as he hugged her.

"are we dating now? i really don't know how this works still." whispered octavia. tom chuckled as he released the hug.

"if you're alright with it then yes," he grabs her hand and squeezes it. "we are dating." she smiled as she squeezed back.

"alrighty, we're a couple mr. holland." tom smiled as the two sat down. octavia laughed as everyone was still freaking out.

"did everyone just see what i just saw or am i dreaming?" asked scarlett, causing everyone to laugh.

"it's real scar, i feel the same way right now. somebody pinch me i'm dreaming." octavia said lily leaned over and pinched her arm. she yelped as lily smiled. octavia rolled her eyes as they fall stated talking again, laughing at old memories and making new ones.
