wow is really all i can say. you're fucking eighteen. it feels as if yesterday you were in your princess dress, blowing out the birthday candles on top of your cake, a tiara on your head and you on my lap, smiling from ear to ear for your eighth birthday. ten years later, here we are. you blowing out birthday candles, smiling from ear to ear for your eighteenth. you know i love you avi, you should know i love you. we've been through hell and back. i remember the little things you would do, like you peaking your head into my room at 1am as i study for my college finals as i strived to be where i am today. me coming home when i have breaks from set, us staying up watching movies, me helping you with your homework. being around you makes me so happy, and seeing you happy makes me feel like i'm doing my role as a older brother correctly. you are so strong octavia, the strongest person i know. if someone pushed you down, you would stand right back up and fight back. happy birthday octavia ray, i love you, always have, always will❤️

sebastian had came back from the store, getting the last things for octavia's surprise birthday party. he placed everything in roberts room, as when tom would bring octavia out of the hotel as they brought everything to the small venue they rented for her.

sebastian walked back to his room as he swiped the keycard, the light turning green as the door unlocked. he stepped inside as he walked out of the hallway, seeing octavia crying with her head in her hands. he placed the key card on the table and walked towards the birthday girl.

"avi baby, what's wrong?" asked sebastian, confused on why she was crying. she surprised him by wrapping her arms around his neck and bringing him closer to her. he smiled lightly as he wrapped his arms around her.

"i love you sebastian, so much. i don't know what i did to deserve you as my brother." she said, her voice shaky. he smiled wider as his eyes got glossy. octavia meant the world to him, he would do anything just for her to be and stay happy.

"oh avi, i love you so much more, you really are the best thing that's ever happened to me." he said back, his grip on his sister tightened. her face was buried into his neck, his cologne filling her nose, calming her down. she took a deep breath as she released the hug. sebastian wiped her tears as he rested his forehead on hers.

"happy birthday cupcake." he whispered as he kissed her cheek. she smiled as sebastian was being very affectionate today.

"thank you sebby."

wow where do i start, happy freaking birthday avi!!! you're eighteen!!!! you are the funniest, kindest, loving person i know. we've had one hell of a ride together so far and i wouldn't have wanted to be with anyone else but you. you are such a hard worker, from your dancing to you making sure 12 grown men are out of their rooms so they aren't late to set really does amaze me. as i'm writing this, i can hear that you're currently singing your heart out to better now by post malone in your room with lily, your glasses probably about to fall off your face. you really are the cutest person i know. happy birthday darling, i love you sweetheart❤️

tom knocked on octavia's bedroom door, the patterned knock interrupting the girls conversation.

"avi get the door." yelled sebastian from the shower. octavia rolled her eyes, her getting up from the bed. she looked through the peephole to see tom, with a bouquet of roses and lilies. she covered her mouth as she opened the door. tom smiled at her expression as she stepped out of the room. he wrapped his arms around her and he lifted her off the ground as he spun her in the hallway. he placed her down and have her the bouquet.

"happy birthday darling." said tom, placing a kiss on her cheek. the blood rushed to her cheeks as she turned crimson. tom chuckled at her as she placed her head in her hands, stoping tom from seeing her smile from ear to ear.

tom removed her hands as he cupped her cheek, making her look up at him. her cheeks turned more crimson as tom's eyes pierced hers.

"for your birthday, would you wanna go out tonight?" asked tom, his thumb rubbing against her cheek. she smiled as she stood on the tips of her toes, placing a a small, soft kiss on his cheek.

"i'd love too." she said, coming back to her normal height. he smirked as he grabbed her hand and placed a kiss on the back of her hand.

"6:30, dress fancy." he said, sending her a wink and walked off. when he was out of sight, she slammed her body against the wall, preventing herself from her knees giving out.

"holy shit what is he doing to me." she whispered, sliding down the wall. she shook her head as robert rounded the corner. his eyebrows raised momentarily till he saw the bouquet, knowing tom had asked her out on a 'date'. he walked towards her and bent down infront of her.

"avi get off the floor, what's wrong?" asked robert as he held her free hand and pulled her up with him. her legs gave out on her once more as she almost fell, robert catching.

"what the hell did tom do to her god damn?" mumbled robert under his breath as he swiftly picked her up bridal style, her arms wrapped around his neck as he carried her inside. lily and sebastian shot up as robert placed her on the bed.

"avi, why did your legs give out? did you eat breakfast this morning?" asked robert as sebastian raised an eyebrow.

"yea, chris made her pancakes. avi, you alright?" asked sebastian. she nodded as she took a shaky breath.

"tom asked me on another date. 6:30, i have to dress fancy." she said, still thinking if she stood up, her legs would give out again.

sebastian, robert and lily all shared a glance, knowing what tom was doing. lily shook octavia excitedly.

"then let's get you ready!" said lily as she pulled octavia onto her feet, her legs not giving out. octavia smiled as she was pulled into the smaller room, a good size walk in closet that was pretty much empty with only octavia's dresses and sebastian's suits.

"it's 2 in the afternoon lil."

"so what, that means we can take our time gettin you all doll'd up."
