"Are you all missing me that much?" Wendy amused by her friends' antic

"Lot of feeling mixed together, unnie. We can't describe it. Too worry, too miss, too sorry and much more" Joy said

"Sorry for worrying you guys"

"It's okay, it's not your fault after all" Seulgi caressed Wendy hair

"How are you feeling now unnie?" the youngest member asking

"I bit better but still hurt and nervous because of the surgery"

"You will be fine soon unnie. Our prayer always goes with you" Yeri pats Wendy forearm

"Thank you sweetie"

"You sound like Ayden oppa now" Yeri laughing lightly

"Maybe it is his effect"

"Where is your boyfriend?" Irene noticed that Ayden is not around

"I force him to go out to eat something. He is really stubborn even I told him that I can stay alone here. It not like I will run away or something" Wendy answer make them chuckle

"He is too protective or shall I say he love you too much to let you alone" Joy said

"He worry so much about you" Seulgi added

Yeri speak after that "You don't have idea how scary he is yesterday. He gave me goosebump. It is scarier than what we saw at meeting room before"

"Really?" Wendy shocked

"Yes, he told us that if that company not apologies to you publicly he will make sure the company will shut down today"

"Wow, he is unbelievable"

"Then he asked Yoona unnie to call a doctor from Canada to come here to operate you and fly her with their company private jet"

"Aigooo, I'm teary now" Wendy wipe her visible tears as she can't believe how much Ayden had done for her

"He hopelessly in love with you, Wendy" said Seulgi

"True, I can feel it"

The door burst open and Ayden show up with wide grin. He look so happy seeing the girls are there with Wendy

"Do you eat well?" Wendy asked after Ayden stand beside her bed

"Yes"

"You sure you not waste the food?"

"Yes, I eat everything. I'm full now"

Irene looking at Ayden "Ayden, about the issue yesterday, are they apology?"

"Sunny called me just now that they still waiting for the answer from that party. If they not answering, we have no choice"

"Are you really taking action towards them?"

"Yes, if they not apology in the given time Eric will do his job. He is ready to do it. He just waiting for signal from me"

Wendy tugged Ayden arm "What are you going to do? You don't make fuss"

"We will buy their share entirely and take over their business"

"You don't have to go that far"

"That is how business work, baby. They trigger me to do so. 24 hours is too long but I tolerate since this is the first time. They suppose to apology yesterday but no one take action. At least they call your agency to say sorry for their mistake but none. Sunny give green light to me so everything is on me now. There is no way I will let them fooling around. Wendy rubbed her temple "I hope it's not me who involve in this accident. You're too scary"

Ayden and the girls cackle "Maybe God want to show my true color. I am not Samuel for nothing. Everything will be okay"

"We support you oppa" Joy chirped while they pump their fist

Their conversation interrupt by knocking sound from the door then Ayden signal them to enter. Yoona show up at the door follow by someone unfamiliar

"Boss, Dr. Hannah is here"

Ayden lips corner tugged upward as well as the girl named Dr. Hannah. He approaches the doctor happily and hug her "Hey buddy"

"Hi, it's been a while now" Dr. Hannah said after pull from the embrace

"True, it's almost a year. How was flight?"

"Wow, so amazing! It's improved a lot than the last time I ride Samuel private jet. Make sure to fly me back with that plane" Dr. Hannah chuckle

"Sure, anything for you"

"Cool" they bump fist

"Do you eyeing the pilot or stewards?" Ayden smirk

"I guess it's been long time since you taste my fist. Do you want to try now?"

"Hey, I'm joking around" Ayden hit his friend fist

"Hmm, since you call me urgently I guess the person is really important, am I right?"

"Yup, let me introduce you to her" Ayden drag Dr. Hannah to Wendy while Yoona join the girls on the couch

"Baby, introduce this is Dr. Hannah from Quebec and Hanne, this is Wendy my girlfriend" Ayden smile happily

Wendy and Dr. Hannah shake hand "Nice to meet you" said Wendy with warm smile

"Nice to finally meet you too"

"Babe, she is my best friend and she is the orthopedic surgeon that I import exclusively for you"

"Please take care of me" said Wendy

"No problem, I will do my best to treat you"

"Thanks doctor"

"I hope this crack head not troubling you a lot" Dr. Hannah said

"He is good boy" Wendy giggles while Ayden smirk proudly

"Happy to hear that Wendy. Back then he is so troublesome along with Ericson"

"He can be one sometimes" Ayden glare at Wendy who replies with silly grin

"Ayden, where is Ericson? Are you two really grown up now that you guys not stick with each other anymore? He transferred here with you, right?"

"Eric is at office now. You can meet him later. He have girlfriend now, you know"

"Finally, you and Ericson have someone to take care of you" Dr. Hannah claps her hands

"You should feel relieve now because we finally have girlfriend"

"I'm really relieve and happy especially for you. Your mother worries too much since you depart to Korea and you maybe don't know that she suffer sleepless nights in first 2 months because she thinks about you"

Ayden expression change slowly "Mama never told me"

"She doesn't want you to worry. She told your pops that she wants to come here to stay with you but he not allows her. Luckily Ericson is here that make her soften a bit"

"Hmmm, I really don't know about that. No one tell me"

"Ava told it to me when I visit them. She is not that sad when Evelyn go to UK before but you, she is so scared. Thankfully that you're fine, you're safe and sound here plus with Wendy presence she feel at ease now" Wendy smile shyly hearing that

"They met Wendy already and they come here too for business trip"

"I know, I met with her and Ava when they go shopping after a week they return from here. They talk a lot about both of you. Last week also I hangouts with Ava, we grab coffee at our favorite café"

Ayden sighs "I miss Quebec already"

"Take leave and go home then. Quebec also misses you" Dr. Hannah said playfully

"I will after Wendy fully recover"

"Alright" Dr. Hannah smile "Hey, do you still take your meds?"

"Yes, I take it when necessary"

"Don't abandon your health for your work. You're still stubborn as ever. Wendy, is he hard-headed too when he is with you?"

"Yes, he is very stubborn sometimes. It just happens this morning when I ask him to breakfast" Wendy said

"I just don't want to leave you alone" Ayden pout and Wendy pinch his cheek

"Poor Wendy, don't make her worry" said Dr. Hannah

"Hey, I forgot to introduce you to Wendy's member. They are from kpop girl group, Red Velvet" Ayden said while looking at the girls who seeing them with amuse smile

"I know them" Dr. Hannah grin cheekily

Ayden flinch "How can you know them?"

"How can I don't know them? I met them before you"

"You're kidding me"

"I am their fan, dummy. I go to their concert at Toronto 2 years ago" Dr. Hannah laugh at Ayden expression

"You're their fans too?"

"Yup, I know each of them. I have their CD, lightstick and merchandise that I bought during their concert. I just don't have photo together with them"

"You're unbelievable"

"I'm different from you and Ericson"

Then Dr. Hannah greet the member and she speak Korean fluently "Hello girls, nice to meet you all. I am your fan from Canada"

"Hello, nice to meet you too doctor" the girls chirp

"I'm happy that I finally have chance to meet you guys. I'm very thankful" Dr. Hannah bow her head politely

"We are also happy to have you here doctor. We trust you to treat our Wendy well" said Irene

"I will do my best"

"Thank you very much"

"I really don't know that she is your fan and can speak fluently" Ayden said to Wendy

"It is a surprise for you" Wendy giggle

"I study the language last year"

Yoona clear her throat before she talk "Boss, I will go to meet pharmacist. Dr. Choi said your meds is ready to grab"

"Okay, you may go"

"Dr. Choi will come here after he done checking his patient"

"Alright" Yoona leave after that

"Baby, do you need your meds now?" Wendy asked

"Emm yes, I don't get good sleep last night so I ask Dr. Choi to get meds for me before it hit me"

Wendy looked worry "Can you sleep at home tonight?"

"But I don't want to leave you"

"I can ask unnie to stay here with me. You should rest. What if you sick? I can't take care of you. Please go home tonight, okay? Make sure you sleep well. Don't worry about me, I'm fine" Wendy pleading

"Heard that Ayden. Don't make her worry and think too much. It will give negative effect to her recovery and slowing the process" Dr. Hannah said

"Ayden, we will sleep here tonight to accompany Wendy. You really should go home and rest" Irene give reassurance

Ayden give in "Okay, I will go home after she done surgery"

"Okay"

Dr. Choi come to the ward and happily greets the newcomer. They talked about Wendy condition and will make preparation to do surgery

"Mr. Samuel, the surgery will be on 2:30 PM today and Dr. Hannah will do it. You have to sign few documents. I will call you later when it done"

"Okay doctor"

"We will leave now to my office"

"Sure" Ayden sit on the bed edge after his friend left

"Oppa, is she your best friend?" Yeri asked curiously

"Yes, she is my best friend since high school along with Eric. She is so friendly and talkative, doesn't she?" Ayden chuckle

"Yes, it's fun talking to her" said Irene

"She is so caring and nice person" Wendy comment

"Yes, since it just me, her and Eric, she is like our big sister. She takes care of us well and treat us like her little brothers. Our family also close with each other"

"It's amazing to have a best friend like her"

"True, anywhere we go we're always together. She take care of us, we take care of her too. She not just friend, she is our sister" said Ayden

"Is she same age as you?" the bear asked

"Yes, we're triplet" they laugh

"I heard everyone called Eric with Ericson but you" Wendy puzzled

"I'm lazy to call him with long name" Ayden said shamelessly

Ayden phone ringing as he got a call from Dr. Choi. He excuse himself after that

"Aigoo, oppa is so cheerful today" Joy comments

"I guess they are all crack head if Eric is here" Wendy chuckle

"There is lot of things to catch up if we don't see each other for long time" Seulgi said

"You're right unnie" said Yeri

"Now I can see that he really have small circle of friends. It's only 3 of them who are really close to each other. I used to take a glimpse of their group chat and there are only them in that group and no others" Wendy said

"I think it's better to have small circle of friend. What point of having lot of friends if they can't be there for us if we need them" Irene reasoning

"I agree unnie"

"Me too!" the other 3 said

Ayden, Eric and the girls walk Wendy to the operating room. They are more nervous than Wendy herself. No one dare to say anything. Seeing her boyfriend and her friends frowning, Wendy asked curiously when they stop in front of the room

"Why all of you looked tense?" she look up to their face

"We're nervous" said Seulgi

"True, that's why we not say anything" Ayden said quietly

Wendy giggle "You guys are funny"

"Don't laugh; we are so nervous for you" Ayden whine

"Baby, it's me who should nervous but you all are unbelievable" Wendy still cackling "Stop that frowns"

"Alright, we will smile" said Irene then she signals everyone to smile

"Good, at least I will be happy seeing those faces"

"Cheer up unnie, you will be okay" Yeri said then she and Joy pump fist in the air

"Thanks girls"

Then Ayden bend down a bit "Baby, keep strong, okay? I'm waiting for you" he kissed Wendy forehead

"Thanks hubby. Promise that you will get enough sleep tonight, okay?" Wendy squeeze Ayden hand

"I promise"

Wendy nods her head "Unnie, bear"

"Yes" the couple responds together

"Please make sure he eat something tonight"

"Sure, count on us" Seulgi wink

"Bear will buy foods for us later and we will have dinner together before he goes home" said Irene

"Okay unnie"

"Wendy, good luck" said Eric

"Thanks dude for coming. Please watch him for me"

"No problem. I will make sure he behave well while you're away" Eric grin

"Good" Wendy sighs "I will go now. See you all soon"

"Alright" Ayden signal the staff to bring Wendy inside

They take a sit on the bench in front of the operation room. Again, no one say anything and let silence engulfing them. Joy, Yeri and Eric busy with their phone. Irene resting her head on Seulgi shoulder while the bear wrapped her arm around the leader waist protectively. Ayden lean his head against the wall and close his eyes

A few minutes later, Dr. Hannah and Dr. Choi come. They greet them with nervous smile

"Hi Ericson" Dr. Hannah and Eric hugging each other

"Long time no see"

"True but we will catch up later. I have special mission now"

"Alright, see you later"

"Of course" Dr. Hannah grinning

She approach Ayden who still closing his eyes and she cupped his face. Tapping his cheek softly

"Ayden" she call him gently

The said guy slowly open his eyes and it looked redden a bit "Hanne"

"Don't stress yourself, alright? She will be okay. If you tired, sleep first while waiting for her"

"Okay, I will be fine. Don't worry about me. Eric and the girls are here with me"

"Okay then" Dr. Hannah nods his head "Rick looks after him. He needs sleep"

"Sure thing" Eric move to Ayden side as he pull Ayden head to rest on his shoulder

"See you guys later"

"Good luck doctor" the girls said

"Thanks girls"

After few hours of waiting, finally the doctor comes out. Seeing Dr. Hannah appear at the door, they quickly go to her

"Doctor, how is she?" Joy asked hurriedly

Dr. Hannah smile from ear to ear "We did it"

"Thanks God" they heave relieve sighs

"Thank you very much" Ayden shake hand with his best friend and hug her tightly

"No worry buddy, she will be back soon enough"

"I owe you a lot"

"Don't mention that. It's my job after all"

"Still I want to thank you for helping me. You don't have idea how scare I am when Dr. Choi said she broke her ankle. It will affect lot of things, mostly her job. I know she sad thinking of her leg but she never spill it out" Ayden sighs heavily

"She will be fine after this. Her ankle is casted and when it removes in next 2 weeks, she can walk but slowly"

"Glad to hear that"

"You all can wait for her in her room. Dr. Choi will bring her there later"

"Alright doctor"

"You can rest well tonight. I will be with her and the girls. We will look after her"

"Okay" Ayden smile happily

After Wendy brought to her room, Eric, Seulgi and Joy go to the hospital cafeteria to buy their dinner. They eat dinner together before Ayden and Eric go home

"Guys, I will go back after this. If something happen or she wake up, just text me. Dr. Hannah also will sleep here tonight" Ayden said after they finish eating

"Don't forget to eat your medicine" Irene reminds him

"Sure, thanks for remind me" Ayden showing okay sign "Tomorrow morning I decide to go to office for a while so I will come a bit late"

"Noted, settle your work first then you come here. We will take care of her. Don't abandon your work"

"Thanks a lot Rene"

"You're welcome"

"Baby, me and Joy will go back to our dorm to get out stuff and wash up. Yerim will stay here with you. Do you need anything?" Seulgi looking at Irene

"Bring my jacket and blanket that I wash last week also my pillow. Don't forget my sweatpants and long sleeve shirt. I don't want to sleep with this cloth"

"Noted"

"What about yours Yerim?" Joy asking the maknae

"My purple hoodie behind the door, blanket and neck pillow on the bed, the rest I will tell you on the text" Yeri grinning widely

Joy eyes widened hearing that while Yeri smirk evilly "You don't ask me to bring nonsense stuff. We're not staying here for good"

"Don't worry, I won't ask you to carry the whole dorm here" the evil maknae laughing

"You better not"

"Don't forget to bring sleeping mat that we use at living room" Irene added

"I guess we're really staying her for good" Seulgi nudging Joy

"I think so" the taller girl rubbing her temple

"I don't think you all want to sleep on uncover tiles. It is foldable so it easy to carry"

"Okay"

"Don't forget snacks too" Yeri chirped

"This kid" Joy and Seulgi glare at her

"We shall go now" Seulgi said

"Alright" four of them leave the room leaving Irene and Yeri with Wendy
