After the girls go home, Ayden is alone with Wendy. The injured girl still unconscious that makes Ayden is so sad seeing her in that state. That morning she talked to him cheerfully because she excited to perform on that festival but it turn out she end up at hospital. He still waits for that company to apologize for their mistake. Sunny called him earlier and she said they still work on it. The CEO said they will sue that company if they not apologize

"Get well soon, baby. I'm waiting for you. I will be here when you wake up" Ayden said to the sleeping Wendy before he kiss her forehead

He take out his phone and decide to make a phone call to Wendy parent. He got their number from Seulgi earlier during their dinner. He doesn't want Wendy's family to worry about her but he should let them know at least. He call the through video call with hope that Mr. Son will answer his call

Ayden nervous when the screen turn bright showing a place like living room. He conclude that Mr. Son currently watching TV at home

"Hello" Ayden greet nervously

Mr. Son frown seeing the stranger but he smile after that "Hello young man, who are you and what can I do for you?" he asked politely

"I am Ayden Samuel from Korea"

"Hm, your name sound familiar" Mr. Son tapped his chin "Are you one of Wendy's friend?"

Ayden smile "Yes Mr. Son, I am...her boyfriend"

"Oooh" then Ayden saw Mr. Samuel stand up leaving his phone. A couple of minutes later, he can hear Mr. Samuel talk with someone before they appear together at the screen. There is a middle age woman on his right side while a young woman on his left "Look, Wendy's boyfriend call us"

"Seriously?" Mrs. Son frown while studying Ayden face and Ayden smile at her

"Oooh, this is really him. Wendy used to send their picture to me before" the girl exclaimed "Hi there, I am Wendy sister!"

"Hi, nice to see you all"

"Same goes to us. This is my mom and dad"

"Hello Mrs. Son" Ayden greet Wendy mother

"Hello young man. What make you call us this early in the morning?" Mrs. Son asked eagerly

"It night here Mrs. Son" Ayden chuckle "Actually I have something to tell you all about Wendy"

The family is looking at each other "What's wrong with my daughter?" Mr. Son asked

"She is injured during their rehearsal early this morning. Currently she's admit at hospital"

"Is it serious?" Wendy's sister asked

"A bit serious on his ankle but the other part like wrist, forehead and cheekbone are fine, just a minor injury. She will undergo surgery tomorrow when orthopedic specialist arrive from Quebec"

"Where is she now? Are you with her?" Mrs. Son sound worry

"Yes, I take care of her. Her members just go home before I call you all"

"Can we see her?"

"Sure" Ayden walk to the bed and turn the camera to Wendy so that her family can see her

"Oh my gosh, poor my baby" Mr. Son sigh sadly while Mrs. Son and her daughter shed tears

"Ayden, are there any action taken to the organizer?" Mr. Son asked firmly

"Yes Mr. Son, currently we're working on it. Their agency and me demand for their apologize for the accident. If they don't say anything within 24 hours, I will take action"

"Glad to hear that. They should learn from their mistake"

"You're right. I will not let them slip an inch"

"We count on you"

Ayden turn the camera to him again "By the way, I hope you all not worry too much about her. The doctor will work hard to make her recover quickly"

"Okay"

"Do you need us to be there?" Mrs. Son asked

"Not for now Mrs. Son, I will be here for her. I will keep you all updated about her condition so you all will know about what happen to her"

"Okay then"

"Please handle her with care" Wendy sister said

"Sure, will do" Ayden smile reassurance

"We're happy that Wendy is in good hand now. She is alone there in Korea. If something happen like now, we can't go to see her quickly. Luckily you're there to attend her" Mr. Son said sincerely

"Don't worry Mr. Son; she will be fine after the surgery. Actually I feel bad because I have to introduce myself in this situation. I plan to bring Wendy back to Canada when we both are free so I can introduce myself properly to your family but we have to see each other early than expected" Ayden chuckle

"It's fine son, we're happy that you're brave enough to introduce yourself without our daughter do it. We know that you're serious with her"

"Wendy talk a lot about you and she cheerfully tell that you two are dating" said Mrs. Son

"It such shocking news to our family because Wendy that we know is never interested in dating. Suddenly she told us she is seeing someone" said Wendy's sister

Ayden cackle "Lot of people said that including her fans. They said I am the luckiest guy on earth because able to break her wall"

"You definitely are" the young girl said with laugh

"I promise I will bring her back to meet your family after she recover from her injury so that we can talk properly" said Ayden

"Okay, we're waiting"

"I have to go now. Sorry for disturbing your day"

"See you soon and take care"

"Okay"

After arrive from hospital, Red Velvet members decide to watch TV since they don't have anything to do on next day. Sunny informed them that they don't need to go to the festival anymore and just take rest at home or visit Wendy at hospital. They are happy that their agency not forcing them to perform because they are not in mood to do it when Wendy is in hospital suffers in pain

"Unnie, you haven't told us about the things at hospital earlier" Joy looking at Seulgi who sit on the couch beside Irene while the younger sits on the single sofa

"Oh, about the fiancé thingy" Seulgi eyebrows rising

"Yup"

"Is it true Ayden is Wendy fiancé or you only exaggerate it so that doctor allows him to sign the document?" Irene asked

Seulgi smile cheekily "From the information that I got from Ayden oppa after their getaway before, they are practically engage"

"Seriously, unnie?" Yeri asked happily

"Yes, they are engage under the sea" the bear said

"What?" the other 3 gasped with their eyes turn wide

"Ayden oppa said they are engage while snorkeling. He sends me the picture and videos of them because I told him that he is joking around"

"Why you never show it to us?" Irene asked

"Because I think I'm not the right one to say it but since I don't have choice earlier, I have to do it"

"Unnie, can we see it too?"

"Sure" Seulgi grab her phone from the table and scroll through his text with Ayden. When she found the pictures and video, she shows it to the girls. Everyone watching it in awe

"Ayden is so romantic" Irene squeal as she grab on Seulgi arm

"He is so sweet" Yeri added

"I hope I can get a boyfriend like him" said Joy while clasped her hands dreamily

"He is definition of perfection" Seulgi remarks

"You're right unnie"

"You talk a lot with Ayden. Are you two that close?" Irene looking at her girlfriend

"Yeah, I can say that we're close friend since the day he told me that he like Wendy. He always asked about Wendy preference. He told me to watch Wendy for him when he is away and when he have something to say that he can't say to Eric oppa or Wendy, he will say to me. So, when I have something that I couldn't say to you guys, I will spill it out to him. We kind of share our worry and try to figure out the way to solve it" Seulgi meet Irene eyes and she know her girlfriend asking question through her eyes. She squeeze Irene hand softly "Don't worry, it just man talk. No secret or something. We share thoughts about works and he motivates me a lot. His words indirectly help me to develop myself, to rise up my self-esteem and to be a better person more than I used to be. I hope you all have chance to talk to him personally and experience yourself how his little words can help you to ease worries in your mind especially during tough time"

"Someone like him is rare and hard to find" Yeri said

"True, he's one in a million. We're so lucky to meet him through Wendy unnie" Joy said

"Wow, this is first time you make friend so easily" Irene pats Seulgi shoulder

"I guess I comfortable be friend with him. He is open minded and when first time he told me that he knows about us, I'm really shock. I thought he can't accept it since he is kind of serious person but I'm wrong. He supported us unconditionally. He not judges you and me when we choose this kind of relationship. He also treat Yerim and Sooyoung kindly, spoiling them with gifts like they are still kids that make me realize that he value people around him. I told him that if he wants Wendy, he must treat her well because I will not give her hand to him if he just plays around since he is Wendy first love. I don't want Wendy to get hurt. He promised me and he make it true"

"You and he are gifted with good heart. We're happy to have you and me personally proud of my bear. I can see the evidence at hospital earlier. I never expect that you will talk confidently during the chaos but you really change. I acknowledge it" Irene wrapped her arms around Seulgi waist

"You not always show it but we know that you silently care about us and protect us in any way you could" Joy join the hug as well as Yeri

"I love you guys" Seulgi hug them back

"We love you too" they replied

"It's good if Wendy unnie is here and she join us. I miss her already" said Yeri

"We can hug her tomorrow little one" Irene caressed Yeri hair

"Okay unnie"

Opening her eyes slowly, Wendy try to figure out where in earth she is right now. A couple of minutes later, she recognized that she's in a ward and she recall back that she rolled down the stair before everything turn dark. She try to move her body but groan inaudibly when everything feel like hell especially her left leg and left hand. A few minutes after that, she heard the sound of toilet flushed signaling someone will come out in few moments. There she saw her lover get out of the toilet while wiping his hands with tissue then tossed it to the trash bin

"Baby" she called weakly

Ayden quickly turn his head to the bed as he heard Wendy voice and he smile seeing Wendy wake up. He come towards her and plants a loving kiss on her forehead

"Hi baby, welcome back"

"Baby, it's hurt" Wendy eyes brimming in tears

"Honey, don't cry. I know it's hurt. Doctor will give treatment to you then you will recover quickly" Ayden coo then he kiss Wendy cheek

Wendy wrapped her right arms around Ayden waist as she try to hug him and Ayden got her signal. He lean closer to the injured girl but still make sure that he will not hurting her

"Don't sad okay, I'm here with you" Ayden whisper lovingly

"Okay"

"Do you want to eat something or drink?"

"I thirst"

"Okay, I will get a water for you" Ayden rummage through the cabinet and he take out a mug that he brought from home. He filled it with water and put the straw so it will be easy for Wendy to drink "Here you go" Wendy finish the water entirely since she's really thirsty

"Thanks baby"

"Alright, I will call doctor Choi to check your condition"

"Okay"

Dr. Choi arrive few minutes after Ayden call him. He greet Wendy warmly and start checking her condition.

"For the minor injury, there is nothing to worry about. It will heal slowly. Meanwhile your ankle, we still need to operate it then we will see what kind of treatment we will do to you. Judging from the condition, it is not that serious and it will heal in two or three weeks after the surgery with condition don't put too much pressure. We will do our best to make you recover quickly"

"Thanks Dr. Choi"

"My pleasure" Dr. Choi nods his head and smiling "Do you eat something after you wake up?"

"No, I just drink a glass of water to quench my thirst"

"Your breakfast will deliver on 7 and after that nurse will come to give you meds"

"Alright"

"Doctor, when is her surgery?" Ayden asked

"We will perform it soon as Dr. Hannah arrives. Ms. Im told me that she will arrive around 11 AM so the operation will schedule around 2 PM"

"Okay then" after that Dr. Choi excused himself to leave the ward
