Wendy balled on her bed with her thick blanket covering her body to her neck level. Since morning, she not feels well. After eat the medicine that Irene give her, her temperature drop to normal again but now it come back. She plan to eat meds after dinner

Meanwhile at the kitchen, Irene, Seulgi, Yeri and Joy prepare their dinner. Irene also cooked some porridge for Wendy. Wendy not eats well during lunch so Irene really worries. She just eats a little bit so that she can take meds.

While they busy cooking, Wendy comes to the kitchen wearing hoodie. Her face looked a bit red from her fever

"Seungwan, do you want something?" Seulgi motioned Wendy to sit on the chair

"No, I come to look for Sooyoung and Yerim"

The said girls looking at their unnie "Yes unnie, do you need something from us?"

"Yes"

"Okay, what is it?" Yeri wipe her hands using the towel

"I want both of you to go down and meet with Ayden. He will arrive in few minutes"

"You're not going with us?" Joy asked

"No, I don't want to walk too much. My knee feel week"

"Alright"

Wendy checking her phone after it vibrated in her grip and turn it off after reply the text "He is downstairs now"

"Okay" the younger girls take off their apron and go to out as Wendy asked

"Seungwan, do you feel better now?" Irene ask softly while placing her back hand on Wendy forehead

"I bit better but still feel burning"

"You should rest first. I will bring your porridge to your room later"

"Thanks unnie" Wendy hugs the leader and rested her head on Irene stomach

"Aigooo, someone is such a spoil kid when fever" Seulgi teasing Wendy

"Someone sound jealous unnie" Wendy whining

"I not jealous because I got spoiled everyday"

"Just get married already. Stop giving our fans false hope"

"We're married actually. Just don't want to show off" Seulgi laughing happily

"Well, I don't want to disturb married couple moment. I want to rest"

"Alright"

At parking lot, Joy and Yeri talk with Ayden in his car. Ayden shocked when they told him that Wendy is sick

"She really not tells you, oppa?" Yeri questioned

"No, I'm not texting her whole day because I'm busy. We just texted this evening and she want me to send my jacket"

"Aigooo, she's burning since morning. Luckily we're not too busy today and manager told her to rest"

"Can I go to see her?"

"Yes sure, let's go" said Joy

When they arrive at the dorm, Ayden follow Joy and Yeri to the kitchen

"Hey, you two come back already?" Seulgi noticed the maknae duo walk to the kitchen

"Yes, where is Wendy unnie?" Joy ask

"She goes to her room already"

"Ayden oppa want to see her. She not tell oppa that she is sick"

"Hi" Ayden greet Irene and Seulgi

"Ayden, can I ask something?" Irene stand facing Ayden and stare at him intensely. The other girls looking at her curiously

"Yes, sure"

"Do you ever do something wrong with Wendy?" Irene ask firmly

"Doing what?"

"Aishh" Irene groan then she tip toe and whisper to Ayden

Ayden face turn red immediately after hear what Irene just said "N-No, never"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes"

"Why are you stuttering?"

"Your question is just like a bomb. Don't worry, I never do something stupid with her. We sleep separately"

"That's good. I just worry if she has some symptom..." Irene not continue what she said but exchange knowing glance with Ayden

"Cool down, she's free from that" Ayden try to calm down the cold leader

"Okay, now go visit her. Her room is first door at right side. Don't enter the wrong place"

"Okay" Ayden quickly leaving

Irene turn around and startled seeing the rest of the member looking at her questioningly

"What with that stare?"

"We curious about what you just said to Ayden oppa" Seulgi answered

"No need to know. It is some adult stuff" Irene back to cook

"I'm adult already" Seulgi whining

"Me too!" Yeri and Joy said

"You two are still kids and you are my baby bear so all of you no need to know"

"Aigoo unnie" Irene just giggle while the 3 glare at her

Ayden knocked the door softly but no answer from the owner. After few knocks, he decided to just enter the room since the door not close properly and he can see a lump on the bed through the little gap on the door. He carefully entered the room, not to wake up the sleeping girl. Then he sits on the bed edge, staring at Wendy. He can see clearly Wendy face looked pale and slightly red. He put his hand on Wendy cheeks to feel her temperature

"Burning" he mumble silently

Feeling someone is touching her cheek, Wendy slowly opened her eyes. Her sight still blurry but she noticed someone familiar sitting beside her. After rubbed her eyes, she got a clear view and see Ayden looking at her with worry face

"Aaron, is that you?" she asked groggily

"Yes babe, I'm here" Ayden answer softly

Wendy sit up with Ayden helping her then she hug him tightly and snuggle to his neck "I miss you"

"I miss you too" Ayden wrapped his arms around the sick girl and stroking her hair "Why you not tell me that you're sick? Do you know how worry I am when Joy and Yeri told me about you"

"I'm sorry babe, I don't want to trouble you. You're busy today. I don't want to disturb you working. I know you will ditch your work if I tell you about my condition"

"At least you let me know. What if something wrong happen to you and I don't even know about it. I'm really worry"

"Babe, don't scold me"

"I not scold you. I just remind you to tell me if you're sick or whatsoever. Don't do that again, okay?"

"Okay babe" Wendy nods her head

"Don't forget to eat medicine or if getting bad, ask your manager to bring you to clinic tomorrow"

"Okay"

They pull away from hug after someone knocked the door. That is Irene come with a tray fill with a bowl of porridge, medicine and a glass of water

"Am I disturbing something?" Irene ask awkwardly

"No, we're not doing anything" Ayden smirk

"Good, here is your food. Finish the porridge then eat meds, okay?" Irene put the tray on bedside table

"Okay unnie, thank you"

"If you need something, I'm outside" Irene said before she left the room

"Okay"

Ayden take the bowl from the table and stir it "Let me feed you"

"Okay" Wendy smile shyly

"You have to finish this. I guess Irene don't want to cook for you anymore if you waste the food" Ayden blow the porridge before feed Wendy

"Unnie is scary"

"You're right, very scary" Ayden recall the incident at the kitchen earlier and it make him shy. Luckily Irene not say it out loud

"Aishh" Irene groan then she tip toe and whisper to Ayden "Do you have sex with her and accidentally make her pregnant?" that's was what she said and she don't want the other member to hear or they will exaggerate things

Ayden scoop the last portion of porridge and blow it before feed to Wendy. Luckily she not throwing up when eating

"Done!" Ayden exclaimed and put the bowl on the table "Here, drink water"

"Okay"

"Wipe your lips first" He give tissue to Wendy "Then eat your meds"

"Alright" Wendy drink all the water after that "Done"

"Good girl" Ayden kiss Wendy cheek

"Thank you for taking care of me"

"No problem and get well soon"

"Okay" Wendy adjust her seat "Are you leaving early tomorrow?"

"Yes, that's why I can't bring you to hospital tomorrow"

"It's okay, don't think too much about me. I will keep you updated but make sure you focus on your work"

"Alright"

Wendy lay herself again and facing Ayden "Hold my hand"

"Okay" Ayden intertwine his hand with Wendy's and the girl cares it softly

"I promise I will be healthy when you come back" Wendy stare at Ayden with smile

"I mark your words. Now sleep. You must have enough rest so you can recover quickly"

"Don't leave yet, okay?"

"Alright, I promise" Ayden lean in to kiss Wendy cheek and forehead "Get well soon honey" he said softly

"Thank you babe"

"Sleep" Wendy nods and close her eyes

Ayden slowly pull his hand after make sure Wendy sleep soundly. He put his jacket on top of Wendy blanket so she can feel his presence even he's not around. Then he kiss her again before left the girl alone. He not forget to bring along the tray to outside

"Oppa, is she sleep already?" Seulgi ask when she saw Ayden come from Wendy room

"Yes, she sleep after eat porridge and meds" Ayden give the tray to Irene

"Thanks for treating her well" Irene said

"No problem" Ayden smile warmly "Tomorrow I will go outstation. If she still sick, ask your manager to bring her to clinic. I told her already"

"Alright"

Joy clear her throat before speak "Oppa, can I ask something?"

"Sure, go ahead"

"We are curious about these things. Do you like Wendy unnie?"

4 pairs of eyes looking at Ayden waiting for his answer "No, I don't like her" the girls face drop upon hearing the answer but Ayden smile "But I love her very much"

They sigh then smile happily "We're right"

"Are you dating?" Irene ask

"No, we're just close friend"

Again loud groan can be heard in living room "You two look like a couple" said Yeri

"I guess you all know her perspective about love, isn't it?"

"Yes and I know from the very start that she is hard to get because it's not in her priority list by now" Seulgi respond

"She sticks with her decision to not date anyone and just focus on her carrier" Irene said

"True"

"Do you ever try to tell her about your feeling?" Joy ask again

"I want to tell her but knowing her, I don't want her to upset just because I talk about it. I guess she know I like her more than friend. Action speak louder than words after all"

"Why don't you try to tell her?" Yeri looking at Ayden

Ayden look at Yeri softly "I want sweetie but I worry if I lost her just because I brag about my feeling. No worry, when I find a good time I will tell her about it. It is when I really ready to hear her decision"

"Whatever happen, we're rooting for you two" Irene give support to Ayden

"Thank you girls, I really not expect this" Ayden said happily

"We know you're a best man for her. She is really happy since she's going out with you, I mean happier and bubbly than before. From that we know you treat her well that's why I not asking lot of thing when she going out with you. I know she is in good hand" said Irene

"Thanks for have faith in me. I'm glad that you all give us blessing"

"We always held your back as long as you not disappoint us" Seulgi said

"Okay"

"Take care of our Wendy unnie" Joy added

"Sure, I promise" Ayden assure the girls "I have to go now. It's late already"

"Alright, goodnight oppa"

"Goodnight girls" Irene walk Ayden to the front door
