"We should sleep now, it's late"

"Unnie, where are we going?" Joy ask curiously

"We will go to special place" Wendy just giving them grin but not really give them the answer

Their manager drop them in front of the luxury restaurant make the girls getting curious

"Are we eating in this expensive place?" Irene mouth open wide

"Yes, let's go" the girls just tailing behind the Canadian girl

They greeted by a female receptionist at the front door "Reservation under Mr. Ayden Samuel" said Wendy

"Okay, this way ma'am" the staff walked them to VIP lounge and opens the door for them

"Hi girls" Ayden put his phone on the table as he saw the girls enter the place

"Hi oppa"

The lounge decorated exclusively for birthday. A medium size table filled with western foods and bear shape cake at the end of the table

"Is...is this for me?" Seulgi really surprise

"Yes, who else?" Wendy pats Seulgi head

"Whoever prepared this, thank you very much" Seulgi said with teary eyes

"Thanks to Ayden, he makes it for you"

"Thank you oppa" Seulgi beamed happy smile

"You like it?" Ayden smile

"Yes, like it so much"

"The cake is cute" Irene looking at the bear cake on the table

"I feel sorry for that cute cake because it will cut by unnie later" Yeri joking

"If you feel sorry, you will not get any piece of it" said Joy

"Yah!" Yeri hit Joy arm

"Aigooo this two, not stop bickering" Irene sighs

"Let me light up the candle" said Ayden and pick the lighter from the table to light up the candle

"Let sing birthday song for unnie" Joy said cheerfully

They sing birthday song for the bear while she non-stop smiling like idiot

"Make a wish first" said Irene while staring at Seulgi lovingly. The birthday girl clasped her hands together and closes her eyes. After that, she blow the candle and everyone clapped their hands

"Happy birthday, unnie!" Yeri and Joy exclaimed

"Thanks my babies" Seulgi hugging the girls and got kiss on her both cheeks

"Happy birthday, my baby bear" Irene hugging Seulgi and plant soft kiss on her cheek

"Thank you unnie"

Wendy pinch Seulgi cheek playfully "Happy bornday bear"

"Thanks Seungwan" Seulgi giggle

Then Seulgi turn to Ayden "Happy birthday. This is your gift" he gives a black shopping bag to Seulgi

Seulgi look very excited "What is this oppa?"

"Check it"

Seulgi pick a blue card from the bag and read it

"Okay" the girls smirk evilly

The bear check the box and gasped loudly "PlayStation?"

"PlayStation 4 Pro, it comes with PlayStation VR so you can play game on it or watching movie" Ayden stated

"Oh my God, thanks for this expensive gift. I can't wait to try it at home" Seulgi hold the box proudly

"Unnie, I'm very jealous right now" Yeri pouting

"Yah, you can play together with her at home" Irene back hugging the maknae

"I don't want" Seulgi stuck her tongue out teasing the maknae

"Yah, don't tease her" the leader said

Ayden pats Yeri head softly "You want it, sweetie?" he talk to Yeri like a father talking to a kid

"Yes" Yeri still eyeing the bag on Seulgi hands

"We will buy for you later"

Yeri eyes turn wide in disbelieve "Seriously?"

"Yes"

"Oppa, you don't have to do that. I'm fine" Yeri feel awkward suddenly

"I insist, I will buy one for you" Ayden smile sweetly

"O...kay" Yeri said then she jump around

The older girls just watching Yeri antic with smile on their face. Yeri always hype up whenever she get something she really want

"Thanks for spoiling her" said Wendy

"I don't want to let her down. It's not a big deal after all"

"She not used to turn down by Seulgi because that bear always say yes to her so when Seulgi reject or ignore her, she will feel bad"

"Cute" Ayden giggle

"Yah, stop jumping around! We will start eating" Irene calling the maknae to sit

"Okay unnie" Yeri run to her chair and sit down with stupid grin

"Today is Seulgi unnie birthday but you're happier than her" Joy looking at Yeri

"I just overwhelm by the happiness. Oh my God" Yeri blink her eyes

"Look like someone will get early birthday present" Seulgi chuckle

"We're not buying anything for your birthday since Ayden give you a gift already" said Wendy

Yeri stop smiling and looking at Ayden "Oppa, is it early birthday present?"

"Depends on what you think" Ayden grin and stop eating for a while

"Unnie said they will not buy gift for me because I will get the gift from you. If unnie not give me anything, will you buy present for me?" Yeri showing puppy eyes

"Sure, just request anything and I will grant it"

"Yeay!" Yeri pump fist "I don't want to be Kang daughter anymore. I will be Samuel daughter" Yeri stuck her tongue out to Seulgi

"Do you think Ayden oppa will take you as his daughter?" Joy smirk

"Oppa?" Yeri looking at Ayden again

"Why not" Ayden smile warmly

"Cool, I'm not Kang anymore" Yeri smirk

Irene scoff "Okay, I got it" she said with straight face

"Omo" Yeri cover her mouth

Wendy and Joy cackle "No kimchi fried rice for 3 months straight" they imitating Irene signature warning when Yeri make her upset

"Unnie, I'm sorry"

"It's okay if you don't want to be the Kang anymore. I can find new kid to replace you"

Yeri hugging Irene sideway "I don't want to be Kang but you still my mom"

"If Irene is your mom of course you're Kang" Seulgi said while cutting her food

"I guess Wendy unnie also don't like it when you be Samuel daughter because she don't want to take care of you" said Joy while stealing something from Yeri plate

"Yah, why me?" Wendy shocked

"If Ayden oppa is Yeri dad, you will be a mom, right oppa?" Joy laugh

"Yes, you're right" Ayden play along with them

"I don't want to be a mother too soon" said Wendy

"Heard that Kang Yerim. You only belong to Kang family so no way you can go out" Joy laughing hard

"Go home little Kang, your mother waiting for you" Seulgi high-five with Joy

"Okay" Yeri sigh defeat

"Eat your food and you two stop teasing her" Irene said

"Okay"

After dinner, Ayden bring them to the game shop to buy game console for Yeri. Ayden buy Xbox One S for the bubbly girl since she doesn't want the same brand with Seulgi's.

Early Thursday morning, Red Velvet member along with their manager go to Platinum building to sign the contract with the company. Everyone excited to start working after they heard that Sam Studio is no joke especially the technology that they use. They arrive at the tall building and walk inside the lobby where Jessica waiting for them

"Good morning Ms. Jessica" they exchange bow with each other

"Good morning and welcome to Platinum Corporation. Let go to meeting room at level 3" Jessica led them to the elevator. Then they enter the modern meeting room that makes everyone amazed just seeing the interior design

"Have a seat everyone. Mr. Daniel will come in few minutes" Jessica invited the guest to sit

"Okay"

Few minutes after they sit, door open from outside revealing a woman in formal attire come in follow by Eric. They assume that the woman is Eric secretary

"Good morning members of Red Velvet and managers" Eric greet with polite smile

"Good morning Mr. Eric"

"Today we will sign 2 contracts and agreements that we mentioned in our last meeting. One is for our project and one more is the contract that Mr. Samuel mentioned to all of you. My secretary will give the papers to you all to sign. We have 2 copies inside your folder. One is for you to keep and one more for the company. Read everything first and if you don't have any objection, you may sign it"

"Okay sir" the girls said

"Ms. Kim, please give their folder" Eric directed to his secretary

"Take your time to read. If you have any question, you may ask"

"Okay" they girls open their folder to read the documents

Eric talk again after that "I just got the order from our Managing Director for the manager of Red Velvet. All of you also will be part of the company as long as you work with this group. Our representative discussed with your CEO and she agree to assign 6 of you to be the permanent manager for the group"

The managers looking at each other with bright smile "Is that's mean we also will sign the contract like the girls did?" Manager Park asked

"Yes, my secretary will give it to you" Eric motioned his secretary to give folders to the managers

"Thank you very much sir"

"You're welcome" Eric smile shortly "You may read the documents, if you have question you may ask and lastly sign it"

"Okay sir" everyone focus on reading the papers

Eric and Jessica discuss something while waiting for them to finish. Suddenly sound of door knocked echo the room

"Come in" Jessica said

Woman in red dress popped out her head at the door gap "Mr. Daniel, Ms. Jessica, sorry for disturbing. Can I come in?"

"Sure, you may enter" said Eric. The woman walks inside after get the permission "Do you come to pass new message from our boss?"

"No, he's not in good mood now" the woman word caught Wendy attention

"What's wrong?" Eric ask worriedly

"He got an email from Ms. Tiffany and she said the dealer keep delaying the delivery of furniture to our new hotel. That makes his mood turn upside down. You know the dealer keep changing date and it's not please for him to hear because his dad set the date to visit the hotel. It suppose to half done but not but it not start yet"

Eric sighs heavily "No wonder his mood change. What he plan to do?"

"He wanted me to find the US dealer list from last time and cancel the current dealer"

"This is not a good idea"

"He decided it already. I just follow his order. He is really mad right now that I can't suggest anything to him" the woman takes out a file from the cabinet and locks it again

"Tell him that I will see him after the meeting and don't make decision yet"

"Okay Mr. Daniel, I will go now"

"Alright"

"Goodluck dealing with the handsome tiger" Jessica pats Eric shoulder

"Yeah, the tiger unleashed at the wrong moment" Eric rubbing his temple then he look back at the girls and their managers "Are you guys done?"

"Yes sir"

"Sorry for distraction earlier"

"It's okay Mr. Eric. We don't mind" said Seulgi

"Alright, back to our topic. You girls will go to your agency as usual but when you're needed here, you have to come. Jessica will arrange your schedule to make sure it will not clash with your schedule at your agency. We prepared your table at level 7 and our studio is at level 8. Same goes to your manager too"

"Okay"

"For the managers, we give you additional allowance from Platinum Corporation since you're part of us" the managers looking at each other with cheerful grin while the girls teasing them with evil smirk "Company also will provide a new car just in case you all have different schedule so it will not troubling you to go here and there. The car will delivered to the girls dorm by tomorrow"

"You all will keep the key so in case you want to go somewhere, just use it. It is order from our boss" Jessica added to Eric statement

"Noted"

"That's all from me. Now Ms. Jessica will proceed with her part" Eric said

"I don't have lot of things to say. I will just talk about your schedule and recording" Jessica stand up from her sit and give a paper to the girls and managers "This is your schedule for the recording. As written here, it will start next week on Monday so I hope you guys are ready to start"

"Yes Ms, we're ready for this project" Wendy said

"Good to hear that. We will meet at studio level 8 and I will give your briefing. Don't get nervous since you will just read the script. You only have to adjust your voice so it suit with the character and situation. You know cartoon sometimes quite difficult since you need to talk in kid's voice. Do you have any problem with your script?"

"No, everything is all right" Irene said

"Good. That's all from me and we will meet again next week"

"Okay"

"Guys, thanks for coming today and once again, welcome to Platinum Corporation. We look forward to work with you guys" Eric said

"Thanks for everything that company give us and we appreciate it. We're happy that we chosen to work with Platinum and we also look forward to work together"

"Very well" Eric smile "That's all for today. Meeting dismiss"

Everyone stand up and bow their head. Eric quickly head out of the meeting room since he want to meet with Ayden after that

Wendy send the text to Ayden soon as they arrived at the dorm. She worried about that man ever since they leave his company earlier. Ayden is not in good mood so she think she need to do something to cheer him up like he always did to her

Few minutes later, she got reply from Ayden

Okay babe, get ready before 5:30

Wendy smile after read the text then toss her phone to her bed. The time is 4:50 PM so she decide to take bath and prepare herself for sleepover at Ayden place

Her phone ring while she still combs her hair. It is call from Ayden

"Hello babe" – Wendy

"Babe, I'm arrive" – Ayden

"Ehh, it still early babe. I thought 5:30 that's why I'm not rushing" – Wendy

"I decide to go home early so let's go now" – Ayden

"Alright, give me few minutes" – Wendy

"Okay" – Ayden

Wendy grabbed her bag from the table and left her room. Since the girls are inside their room, she just leaved a note on coffee table so they are not worry

"Babe, stop at the convenience store nearby you apartment for a while" Wendy said

"Do you want to buy something?"

"Yes" Wendy smirked silently

Ayden drive his car to the convenience store as Wendy wish for "Here we are" he said

Wendy rummages inside her handbag and take out a piece of paper "Here little task for you"

"What is it?"

"I need you to buy grocery"

"You're not come with me?"

"No, I will wait here" Wendy grin

"Okay then, don't forget to lock the car"

"Alright"

Wendy watched Ayden walk inside the store with a piece of paper in his hand. She noticed that Ayden not in mood and he rarely talking to her. He is not cheerful as usual. Most of the time he just let out soft sigh every now and then. She never see that side of Ayden because since she know him, he always have smile on his face, playful and very talkative

About 20 minutes waiting, Ayden come with the stuff that Wendy want him to buy

"Thanks babe" Wendy said after Ayden hop in the car

"Okay" Ayden smile shortly then drive to his apartment

It is just silent along the way to the apartment. Wendy keeps glancing at Ayden every now and then. She really worry seeing him down

Soon as they enter the place, Wendy put the plastic bag on the table while Ayden go to living room and stand beside the glass door staring outside while folding his shirt sleeve. Wendy stand behind him and slowly circle her arms around his waist

"Babe" Ayden startled by the sudden action

For the record, Wendy never initiating the skinship between them, except their kiss. It's him who always being bold hugging her

"Stay still" the idol whisper and rest her head on Ayden shoulder. Few minutes later, Wendy speaks again "Babe, are you okay?"

"I'm fine babe. Just a little problem at office" Ayden sighs again

"Whatever is your problem, I hope it will not turn you down. I can't stand seeing you like this. Ayden that I know never look gloomy"

"Sorry for worrying you" Ayden put his hand on top of Wendy's

Wendy tightenes her hug "You feel better now?"

"Not yet"

"Why?"

"Can I turn around? I will feel better after seeing your face"

"Silly" Wendy chuckle and release Ayden from her embrace

"There, I feel a bit good now" Ayden finally smile

"What will make you feel better than now?"

Ayden tapping his chin like he think of something "By doing this" he hugging Wendy and rest his head on top of hers

"I know you just want to hug me. Don't use some trick" Wendy return the hug

"Busted" Ayden cackles while rubbing Wendy back. He love the smell of shampoo that Wendy use and he already addicted to it

"Babe, I want to cook our dinner. You take bath, okay?"

"No, I want to hug you" Ayden whine like a kid

"You don't want to eat?"

"I want but I want to hug you more"

"You're whining a lot these days. I guess you're influenced by Yerim and Sooyoung"

"I guess so"

"Come on babe, I want to cook for us. I heard your tummy crying" Wendy joking around

"Promise me something then I will release you"

"What is it?"

"We cuddle after dinner"

"Okay, now let me go"

Ayden let Wendy go and smiling wide "I go to my room and you cook"

"Alright" Wendy smile seeing the cheerful Ayden finally come back

Wendy putting the spaghetti on the plates for their breakfast before they are off to work. She wake up early to cook something for both of them since she also a bit hungry. After wash the pan that she used just now, she plan to call Ayden to his room but that guy show up early than she expect

"Good morning"

"Morning babe, have a sit" Wendy greet back cheerfully

"The food smell good"

"Enjoy your breakfast" said Wendy

"Alright" Ayden smile to Wendy before he start eating "Are you going to agency later?"

"No, just drive me to the dorm. We not going anywhere later because your staff will send a new car to our dorm"

"Yeah right, I almost forgot about the car"

"Thanks for providing the car for us"

"Yep, use that car whenever you all want to go out or something so that you don't have to ride taxi or call your manager if it's not important. All of you can drive, isn't it?"

"Yes, we have driving license but lazy to drive since we used to ride with our manager"

"Okay, that car is safe for all of you. I ask my security department to install GPS device for safety reason so if something happen, we can track the car easily. It was connected directly to my phone"

"Wow, really?"

"Yes, we can try sometimes but don't tell anyone. This is top secret" both of them giggle
