"Bye oppa, see you tomorrow" Joy, Seulgi and Wendy waving at their manager who drive them home after filming a variety show

"Bye girls" the manager said before drive away

"Let go unnie!" Joy exclaimed happily but before she skip towards the entrance, a familiar car stop in front of them

"Seungwan, your prince charming" Seulgi teasing Wendy

"Yah, Kang Seulgi" Wendy hit Seulgi arm embarrassingly

"Hi Ayden oppa" Joy greet Ayden happily

"Hello Joy, Seulgi"

"Hello" the girls said happily

Wendy frowned when Ayden still not looking at her let alone greet her. She start to feel jealous and upset

"By the way, where is Wendy?" Ayden laugh under his breathe

"Ehh?" Joy and Seulgi startled when Ayden asking for Wendy who obviously stand beside them

"Is she kidnapped?"

"Oppa, this..." Joy pointed her thumb towards Wendy

Ayden playfully gasped "Seungwan, is that you?"

"Why?" Wendy asking in upset tone

"I thought this is not you"

"Funny" Wendy rolled her eyes

"Hehe, I'm sorry Wen"

"Oppa, we're going upstairs now" Seulgi said

"Yeah sure"

Joy and Seulgi go to their dorm while Wendy still stay there glaring at Ayden

"Done checking me out?" Ayden ask

"I'm not checking you out!" Wendy pinch Ayden arm

"Ouch" Ayden rubbing the slightly redden spot

"If you don't have anything to say, I will go upstairs" Wendy turn around to leave

Ayden quickly grab her wrist "Wen, let's go home"

"I'm home already"

"I mean go to my place"

Wendy sighs "Okay"

"Let's go babe" Ayden happily skip to his car

Both of them not talk along the way to the apartment. Somehow, Wendy looked upset and Ayden wondering what happen to her

"Wen, are you okay?" Ayden finally decide to ask after they settle at living room

"I'm fine"

"But you look upset. Do you have problem?"

"I'm just tired" Wendy sighs heavily

"Do you want to cuddle?" Ayden ask softly

The question makes Wendy suddenly nervous "What?"

"Do you want to cuddle? I mean if you don't mind" Ayden also nervous. Wendy still not giving him answers "Can I take silent as yes?"

"Em...yes"

Ayden move to the couch where Wendy sit and lay down "Come, lay down here" he patted his arm and Wendy hesitantly lay her head on the muscular arm. Wendy stiffened since she's never doing that before. She feels that Ayden softly patting her back with his other hand "Do you feel better now?"

"Emm yes" Wendy calms herself and let Ayden spoiling her

"Don't work so hard on yourself. You should rest too. I don't know that you're this exhausted when I come back"

"My schedule start hectic after we made come back"

"I really have to talk with your boss"

"Babe no, don't do that. I'm really fine"

"Okay then" Ayden kiss Wendy head "Sleep"

"Okay" Wendy close her eyes and she feel Ayden tighten his hug on her

After few hours sleeping, Wendy slowly open her eyes. She looked up and Ayden face so close to her. The guy is still sleeping soundly. Wendy also noticed that she also hugging Ayden torso. She carefully remove Ayden arm that circling her and slowly sit up

"6:05 PM already" she whisper to no one

Suddenly, Ayden moving "Wen"

"Hey, you wake up already?"

"Em, where are you going?"

"I want to cook dinner. If you still sleepy, just sleep again"

Ayden close his eyes and pull Wendy again make the girl fall on him "Don't go. I want to hug you"

"I need to cook for us. You don't want us to starve, don't you?"

"You can cook later. Right now cuddle with me first" Ayden grin goofily

"Alright Mr. Ayden" Wendy rest her head on Ayden chest

"Wen"

"Em"

"Kiss me"

"No"

"Kiss me or..." Ayden smirk

"Or what?"

"I pin you down then you figure out yourself what will happen after that"

"Yah!" Wendy hit Ayden chest and pull herself away from him. She look scared but Ayden don't notice it

"What?"

"Don't do that to me. I will not see you again if you dare to do something not funny"

"I'm not saying anything, right?" Ayden giggle

"You said you will pin me down"

"Just pin you down to kiss you. Do you think about I rape you?"

"Yes!"

Ayden sit facing the red face Wendy "I don't want to be a daddy yet but if you want to be a mommy, no problem. We can change the future for sure. I'm gladly be a proud daddy to your kid" he laughing heartily

"Ayden Samuel, it's not funny!" Wendy sulking turning her back to Ayden

The laughing guy stop in an instant noticing he joking over the limit "Babe, I'm sorry" Wendy still not answering "Babe, please" then he hear soft sob from Wendy make his eyes wide and worry. He moved to face the sobbing girl "Babe, I'm sorry. Don't cry please. I just kidding" he wiped Wendy tears

"Take me home. I want to go home"

"Babe, we should eat first"

"No, I want to go back. Drive me back now but if you don't want I will ride cab"

"Okay, I will drive you" Ayden give in as he doesn't want to make things worse. He goes to his room to change his clothes. When he comes out, Wendy already waiting for him at the door

The ride is silent and extremely awkward. It suffocating Ayden but he can't do anything. It's literally his fault for joking too much. They arrived at the dorm and Wendy unbuckle her seatbelt

"Thanks for drive me here"

"Okay" Ayden sighs "Babe, I'm sorry again"

"Em, goodnight" the girl said and get out of them car. Ayden stare at Wendy who walk weakly to the dorm

It has been 2 days since the incident happen, Wendy not contacting Ayden as usual. Ayden keep texting her but she reply nonchalantly and sometimes not replying at all. He know Wendy still upset and ignoring him. Eric come to his office distract his thought about Wendy

"Hey, why you look gloomy?" Eric sits on the chair

"Not very good" Ayden rubbed his face

"You rarely have problem so I guess this must be something heavy"

"Quite heavy"

"Tell me"

"It's about Wendy"

"Oh, what's wrong with her?"

"I joking too much that make her upset. She ignoring me since that day"

Eric chuckle "So this is love problem?"

"Hmm"

"Do you apologize already?"

"I do but she still ignore me"

"Dude, can I ask something?"

"What is it?"

"Do you like her or perhaps love her?"

Ayden take deep breathe "Do you trust me if I said I fall for her since day 1 I saw her at our art gallery?"

"Well, I trust you"

"I like her so much dude. I never feel this way before not even when I'm with my ex girlfriend. Something about her make me want to be with her, to protect her and to make her happy"

"Did she know that you like her?"

"I never tell her but I guess she knows. Action speak louder than words"

"Why you never tell her?"

"This is one more thing that stopped me from confessing. She said she not look forward to have any kind of relationship for now. She wants to focus on her carrier"

"Hmm, a hindrance"

"That is the reason I never tell her. She turned me down even before I make it"

"Since you know her preference about love, I guess you better not fall deeper. I don't want you to back to your old self. I hate the old version of Ayden. You suffer a lot because of last relationship so be extra careful now. She gives hint already so you should know what to do"

"Thanks for advice"

"No problem, we're like brothers so I want the best for you" Eric said sincerely

"I'm thankful that I found a good friend like you"

"Yeah, you should do" both of them laugh lightly

Ayden found himself in front of the familiar apartment complex after back from his office. He stare at his phone for few minutes since then hoping that Wendy will answer his call. He search for Wendy number in his contact list and press the call button then bring the device to his ear. After few beep, the voice that he missed so much answering the call

"Hello" Wendy voice not cheerful as usual

"Hello...Wen, can we meet?"

"I not in mood to go out"

"Please, it won't take long. I in front of your apartment now"

"Just go home"

"No, I will not go anywhere until you come here"

"Don't be stubborn Ayden"

"Come here and tell me what make you hate me this much. If necessary, I will leave you alone. I promise" Ayden said sternly

"Okay, I will go down to see you but don't drive anywhere. Just talk here"

"Alright" Wendy hang up immediately and Ayden waiting for her to come

After 5 minutes, someone knocked the window and it no other than Wendy. Ayden unlock the door for her to get in

"Now talk" Wendy said emotionlessly

"I'm sorry for what happen at my house before. I don't mean to hurt you. I just joking around that time and I don't know that you not comfortable with that kind of joke"

"I not used to joke with something like that and I not interest to that thing too so if you want to joke around, don't use that topic. I'm very upset that day. I thought you can comfort me because I'm really tired but it turn out you make me angry"

"I promise I'm not going to say that again. I will be extra careful and more sensitive after this, okay?"

"Okay" Wendy still keep straight face

"Smile please" Ayden tapping Wendy cheek then she smile "There, I miss that smile"

"You will not seeing this smile if you piss me off"

"I learn from my mistake"

"Good"

"Give me a hug" Ayden open his arms wide and Wendy throws herself to his embrace "I miss you" he whisper

"Me too" Wendy resting her head on Ayden shoulder

"Don't mad anymore, okay?"

"Okay"

Ayden kiss Wendy temple before broke the hug "We will go out if I not busy, I want to spend time with you but I'm very busy lately. I not sure if I can see you this week" he cupped Wendy face

"Take your time, I'm not going anywhere" Wendy caressed Ayden back hand

"Okay" Ayden smile then he take something from the backseat that make Wendy face turn bright "Here, your bubble tea"

"Thank you" Wendy said cheerfully

"Oh, I forgot something"

"What is it?"

"I forgot to tell you that you look so beautiful in your new hair color"

"Thanks" Wendy said shyly and blushing madly

"Hey, don't shy. It's true that you looked beautiful"

"You just so straight forward" Wendy chuckle

"I don't want to hide it when it's true. Anyone want to tell you that you look beautiful but out of the people who want to say it, I'm the only one who have chance to do it"

"Alright, alright" Wendy giggle "Hey, I have to go upstairs now. You go straight home and don't forget your dinner. I'm very sure that you not eating yet"

"You're right; I just eat lunch only but dinner"

"See, you always skip your meal but keep remind me to eat and stay healthy!" Wendy groan

"Your health is more important than everything"

"Yours too! Who will take care of you if you sick?" Wendy entering motherly mode

"Okay ma'am, I will make sure I'm healthy and not skip my meal"

"You better prioritized it"

"Okay" Ayden playfully salute

"Good, I will go now"

"Wen, take this. It's cold outside" Ayden take his leather jacket that hanged at the passenger seat and draped it on Wendy shoulder

"Thanks and goodnight"

"Goodnight"

"Oh one more thing" Wendy grabbed Ayden shoulder and pull him towards her then she kissed his cheeks "Goodnight and goodbye kiss"

"Cool, bye babe" Ayden smiling like idiot

"Bye" Wendy hop out of the car and quickly walk to the entrance

Wendy greeted by Yeri and Seulgi at living room soon as she return from downstairs. Joy is out of the town for few days for magazine photoshot

"Unnie, where are you from?" Yeri ask curiously

"I from downstairs" Wendy grins widely

"Judging from what you have now, you're meeting with Mr. Bubble tea, right?" Seulgi smirk

"Ah yes, I just met him" Wendy said shyly

"So sweet" the girls said dreamily

"Where is Irene unnie?" Wendy change the topic

"She's at the kitchen make drinks for us" Yeri said

"Okay, I go to my room. I don't want to disturb Kang family bonding time. Goodnight girls!" Wendy skips to her room

Irene come to living room with a tray of their mugs and cookies "Wendy come home already?"

"Yup, she met with Mr. Bubble tea earlier" Seung reply

"Unnie, do you think they are dating?" Yeri looking at her unnies

"They look like one. You know Seungwan look weird since she meet with Ayden. I noticed that her face looked glowing each day and bubbly than usual. That guy really give huge impact to her" Irene reasoning

"Hm, I think they are not" Seulgi rubbing her chin

"Why?"

"We know her perspective on love so the chance to be in relationship in thin. I don't think she will easily give in"

"Wendy unnie is confusing. If I'm her, I will not let the chance pass just like that if someone as handsome as Ayden oppa confess to me. Sadly I'm not destiny to meet my soulmate yet" Yeri pouting

"You're not dating anyone until we give you permission" Irene and Seulgi smirk

"I don't know why I'm born to this family. I don't want to be a daughter of Kang family, I don't want!" Yeri whining and rolling on the floor

Seulgi laugh at Yeri antic "You're the luckiest human on earth for chosen to be a daughter of Kang. It's not easy to be my daughter" she carried the maknae and put her beside Irene who watching them like a wife watching her husband and kid playing around "Sit here with your mom"

"Yah Kang Yerim, stop whining. Drink your chocolate" Irene playing around with them and patting Yeri bum, spoiling the maknae

"I don't want" Yeri shake her head and buried her face to the couch as she lay on her stomach

"It's you who request this drink yet you don't want it now. No kimchi fried rice for 3 months straight if you still sulking" Irene said

Yeri quickly sit after hearing the scary warning from Irene and drink the hot chocolate then spit it out again "Ouch, hot!"

"Yah, blow it before you drink" Irene wiping Yeri nose and chin with tissue

"Unnie, my tongue hurt" Yeri whimper

"Bear with it, it's your fault" Irene nagging while busy wiping the mess from Yeri spit on the table

"Goodluck, little Kang!" Seulgi pump her fist in the air with teasing smile on her face. Yeri just rolling her eyes annoyingly
