YN's pov

Turns out the King of the Dragons is actually difficult to defeat. Big surprise there. I was busy trying to figure out the best way to take him down. If we can get him down to the ground it would make this fight easier.

"What's the plan, YN?" Natsu asked as he and Happy landed.

"Aim for his wings specifically. They're the most vulnerable part of the dragon. If we want to have a chance of beating him then we need to get him down here." I said to which he nodded.

"Christian can you get me on his back?" I asked my friend who gave a thumbs up and spread his wings before grabbing me.

As we were right above the overgrown Lizard, I entered my dragon force and aimed for his wings and back.

"Poison Dragon Roar!"

Acnologia heard me but didn't have the reaction time needed to get out of the way in time. My attack hit its mark perfectly. I then jumped out of Christian's grip and went for a direct attack.

"Got to admit you've impressed me son, but I won't go down easily" he said before trying to swat me out of the air. I dodged his attack mid air and...

"Dragon King's Iron Fist"

I punched him right in jaw sending him crashing to the ground. I made sure everybody was out of the way before doing so. I landed on the ground and started approaching him.

I was met with his tail sending me crashing into a mountain. I heard Wendy yell my name worried. She was then picked up by Acnologia.

Wendy's pov

"You're the one my son fell in love with huh? Well let's see what he thinks of this" he said before opening his mouth.

H-he's going to eat me?! I tried Roaring at him but that didn't do anything. I was scared beyond belief. However he was suddenly sent crashing into the forest as I was caught by Natsu and Happy.

"Don't you EVER try something like that with her again!" YN shouted more enraged then I've ever seen him.

Acnologia got out of the forest and looked at YN not with anger but I could swear I saw him...smile. He then coughed up blood before changing back to his human form.

"I've got to say I'm proud of how far you've come. You've gotten far stronger than I ever imagined. You've met people that truly care about you. You've even met someone that loves you with all of her heart as you do for her. "Acnologia said turning to me.

I looked at YN who was clearly fighting back tears. Despite how much he said he hated Acnologia I always knew that wasn't truly the case. The real reason he let him leave back when we first encountered him is because he knew he wasn't emotionally ready to kill him.

"This is where our fight comes to an end. That poison dragon roar did quite the number on me. Finish this son." he said and YN nodded.

"Dragon King's Roar" YN said sending the powerful attack towards Acnologia.

Acnologia was disintegrated and YN dropped to his knees finally letting his tears fall. I approached him and hugged him. He wasted no time hugging back and crying into my shoulder. I gently stroked his hair as he continued letting out his emotions. After he was done crying we broke the hug and he looked to the sky saying one last thing to his father.

"Thank you...father"
