Acnologia's pov

The pathetic Fairy Tail Guild just hit me with everything they had. Don't they know there's only one individual who can truly do anything against me. I flew up in the air deciding to end this little game. However as I was taking in the air around me I heard another voice. A familiar voice.

"Dragon King's Roar!!"

I just barely got out of the way. It grazed my wing slightly and ended up causing enough damage to force me to land. When I did land, I turned and saw YN flying with that exceed of his. I smiled internally proud of how far he's come.

He landed and started approaching me. He was glaring into my soul.

"Change forms!"

I did what he asked which surprised everybody else. He rushed at me with great speed and pinned me to a tree with his forearm to my throat.

"You got some fucking nerve you know that?!" he shouted in my face.

"It's good to see you too...son"

"I'm not your son. I'm nothing like you meaning you failed at raising me." he said assuming I wanted him to be like me.

"If you're nothing like me then I didn't fail at anything."

He was completely taken back by what I said. I used the opportunity to knock him back to his friends. He kipped back up onto his feet before rushing at me. He was however stopped by the blue-haired girl.

He turned to her with a glare. His gaze however softened when he saw it was her. He took a deep breath and turned back to me. I guess he's found someone he really cares about.

"Listen to me and listen good. The next time we meet will be our last meeting. One of us will die. Get lost and don't cause anymore damage." he said to which I nodded.

"Alright only because I want you all to heal and get stronger. I don't exactly like easy fights." I said before changing back to my dragon form and taking off.

I'm proud of you YN and I look forward to our inevitable battle. You've grown far stronger than I ever thought possible and have met people that truly care about you. If I have to die I want it to be at your hands.

YN's pov

I was busy trying to calm down. I requested I was allowed to do so before getting questioned. Wendy was sitting beside me and that alone was helping.

"Okay one at a time please" I said getting the groups attention.

"First and foremost why did you just let him leave?" Makarov asked not really upset.

"I can't defeat him alone. There's still a limit to what I can do on my own. If we're going to defeat him everybody has to get a lot stronger." I explained as he nodded.

"Secondly are you sure you're okay with this?" Erza asked worried.

"Acnologia to me is different than say Igneel is to Natsu. I have no problem with killing him and have been wanting to do so for a while now. Natsu wants to be reunited with Igneel..."

I stood up to start walking back to the guild hall. Before doing so I turned back to the group who were still looking at me. I felt Wendy hold my hand as she looked at me concerned. I sighed and shook my head.

"I never wanted to reunite with Acnologia."
