YN's pov

I was hugging Wendy as tight as I could never wanting to let go. After two long years, I finally got to see her again and I couldn't be happier. We finally broke the hug after a good five minutes.

"I've missed you so much Wendy" I said with a bright smile.

"I've missed you too, YN. It just didn't feel the same without you." She responded with a smile of her own.

"YN, will you return with me to Fairy Tail? I'm sure everyone would love to see you again" Wendy asked.

I didn't need to think about the answer. I've been wanting to go back for a while now. I smiled brightly and nodded.

"I would love to" I said causing her to pull me into another hug.

"Great let's go" she said before walking off.

I didn't move however. There was still a question that has been lingering on my mind for a while now. She noticed my hesitation and walked back towards me.

"YN, you okay?" she asked worried.

"Wendy please. Before we go back I need to know. Do you still love me?" I asked with hopeful eyes.

She seemed confused at first before realizing what I meant. I put my head down in anticipation. Then, I felt her put her hand on my cheek. When I looked up she leaned in and pressed her lips against mine in a loving, sweet kiss. I smiled before happily kissing back.

"Does that answer your question?" she asked with her hand still on my cheek.

"Yes. Thank you Wendy" I answered taking her hand in mine.

"Christian where are you buddy? It's time to go" I called for my friend.

"Where are we going?" he asked landing on my head.

"Home" I said turning to Wendy.

Then, all four of us headed back to Fairy Tail. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire way there. When we reached the door I took a deep breath and readied myself.

When we entered Natsu turned towards the door. His eyes widened when he saw me. He stood up and approached me.

"YN? Is that really you?" he asked in disbelief.

"Hey Natsu it's been awhile" I responded earning a bright smile from the salmon haired wizard.

"Hey guys come here YN's back" Natsu called getting everyone's attention.

Next thing I know, I'm surrounded by familiar happy faces. It felt so good to be back. I turned to Makarov.

"Is it possible for me to rejoin the guild" I asked him.

"Of course. We'd be glad to have you back YN" he answered making me smile.

"We need to have a party or at least a little get-together to celebrate YN's return" Lucy suggested and everyone nodded in response.

I turned to Wendy pulled her into another kiss. She was surprised by the sudden gesture but soon returned the kiss. Everybody cheered and whistled. After the kiss, we both smiled and turned to the crowd.

"I'm home"
