Darcy's P.O.V

~10 years later~

I toyed with the silver ring on my finger nervously as Dan sat on the seat in front of me.

I gulped, looking up at him with sad eyes.

"I can't have children after being starved when I was kidnapped," I admitted, my throat becoming dry and eyes watery.

"I know," he responded and leaned forward, wrapping his arms around me and rubbing my back comfortingly.

"I know, but that doesn't change the fact that I love you. I knew before we even got married, the doctor told me. But that doesn't mean we can't have a family," I hugged him back, resting my cheek against his shoulder and breathing in his scent.

"But how?" I asked, we parted and I noticed Dan was grinning at me. He held my hands in his and I couldn't help but stare at his gorgeous dimples.

"Adoption." His eyes twinkled and I nodded, it was a perfect idea and I knew just the place.

"My orphanage."
