Third Person's POV
It was always like a silent connection between Niall and Harry. It couldn't be anything else really, Niall couldn't utter a word even if he wanted to.
"Niall honey, I'm going to the supermarket; I'll be back in a few." Niall smiled in response because that was his immediate reaction whenever he was around Harry. Harry was his sun, the stars that ignited his black soul, his sole magnificent rose that colored his life and sweetened it. When he hears his velvety voice, his body relaxes and his almost always alert subconscious quietens down. His only source of peace, serenity, and solidarity was Harry; he basically had nothing left but him. A part of their silent agreement was that Niall was always responsible for preparing dinner. It's not because Harry couldn't cook, no, it's just because Niall liked it, it sort of gave him a sense of closure. He had no idea why, he just felt comfortable while preparing dinner; which was what he was doing now.
Niall had always felt useless when he was with Harry. Harry did everything and made sure that their lives were okay and on track, that none of them was missing a thing. It's like he was responsible for everything, but he didn't mind. That's what scared Niall the most. He was afraid that eventually Harry would be fed up with Niall and his needs. He wasn't handicapped or anything, but Harry just liked to make sure that he wasn't doing anything and that he was always resting. Sometimes it gets annoying, but Niall knows that Harry's doing that out of sheer love and compassion.
Lost in his train of thoughts, he hadn't noticed the flame that caught the kitchen's window curtain. He ran out of the kitchen just in time to miss a part of the ceiling that was about to fall on top of him. Niall looked around panicked and helpless. He didn't know what to do, he was claustrophobic and he couldn't call for help. If he tried getting out of the house he'd probably pass out on the way, for the front door was a bit far from his current position. He fell down to his knees with a not so new thought on his mind. Harry. He didn't want to leave him so soon, he wanted to spend more time with him. He wanted to hear himself say his name for at least one time.

All the way outside of the burning house that held the mute blonde boy captive, stood a frozen Harry. What was going on, it was clear but he didn't want to believe it. He dropped the shopping bags and ran into the house, covering his mouth when he inhaled the smothering smoke. He heard whimpers somewhere, he couldn't exactly see where Niall was, but he needed to find him and fast. A fast falling splinter of wood that was ignited with the scorching flame illuminated the tiny figure that was his boyfriend. He quickly ran towards the almost unconscious boy, quickly picked him up, and made his way miraculously out of the almost ashen house.
When they were both safely out of the house, Harry carefully laid Niall down on the concrete. He shook the boy gently, hoping nothing had happened to him. His favorite irises fluttered open and his world seemed to balance back on its axis. Niall was okay. His baby was alright. Harry didn't know what he would've done if he was a second too late. He didn't know how would he cope with not having his angel by his side.
"Niall baby are you okay?" Harry asked him worryingly. Niall nodded his head yes, his eyes still widened from the after shock of the situation. This movement alone pacified the burning anxiousness in Harry's heart.
"I love you baby." Even though Harry couldn't hear it coming out of his favorite lips, he still read it in Niall's eyes, and his simplest actions said it all.
Love is not only about exchanging words and sweet nothings, the proof of the existent love can be proven in actions and situations, the words are like an extra topping, but without it, it wouldn't lessen the amount of love present in a relationship like Niall and Harry's, it's missing words but not actions.
