Third Person's POV
Zayn had a not so minor accident when he was at the age of fourteen. It caused him to lose his right leg and made him have to live his life with a fake robotic one instead. He hated it with a passion, and he always believed that no one would ever love him with his embarrassing disability. He also had a not so tiny crush on the school's jock, Liam, sex on legs, Payne. He had always admired the puppy eyed lad from afar. He loved watching him laugh with his friends as his eyes would crinkle in the cutest way ever and his plump lips would break in a wide smile, brightening up his boyish features. He would always scold himself for drooling over his fit body that would make girls fall to their knees, begging for a chance just to trail a perfectly manicured finger down Liam's body. He tried to be discreet about it, but apparently he wasn't doing a good job. Liam had caught him.
The body that he had fantasized about, in not very innocent ways, was pressed tightly against him, making his own figure trapped between the wall and said body.
"Why do I always find you staring at me?" Liam whispered hotly in Zayn's ear, causing his body to writhe in pleasure.
"I- I- umm.." Way to go Zayn, make yourself look even more stupid.
"You what, hmm?" Liam pressed his body even more onto Zayn's making the older lad feel like he would soon pass out if Liam didn't step away.
"I- I really don't know what to say."
"How about you think of something, and meet me today at the park across the school at 7 tonight, alright pretty boy?" Liam pretty much stated as a smirk arose on his gorgeous face.

Zayn nodded frantically not trusting his voice. Liam bit on his earlobe and then he quickly pulled back leaving Zayn a panting mess. With one final wink, Liam walked away.
He didn't seem to mind his hinderance, which left Zayn in a state of bewilderment.
It was 7 o'clock and Zayn was a nervous wreck. He anxiously waited for Liam to show up, having already contemplated what he was going to tell him. 'I like you Liam.' Easier said than done. Too immersed in his worried thoughts, he didn't notice Liam's tall figure approaching him.
"Hey there." Zayn jumped slightly in surprise but managed to regain his composure in a few seconds.
"H-hi Liam." Damn his stutter.
"So have you found out the answer to my prior question?" Liam questioned, seemingly amused.
"Yes." Simple but effective.
"I'm all ears." Liam's amused expression faltered slightly, and now it had a hint of curiosity.
"I like you Liam. As in like like you." Zayn further explained his point and he was quite surprised that his confession came out confidently.
"Well that's good because I like like you too Zayn." That statement had Zayn's jaw hanging open in shock and relief.
"Y-you do?" Zayn inquired in disbelief.
"Would I do this if I didn't?" Liam spoke after placing an ever so gentle kiss upon Zayn's lips.
"So you don't mind my leg problem?"
"Of-of course not." Zayn should've probably questioned Liam's hesitancy.
Zayn still couldn't believe that he was dating Liam. The same Liam that he has been fantasizing about for a really long time. However, there was a question that has been lingering on his mind for a while now. Why haven't they come out yet? He made a mental note to ask Liam about that later tonight. He was too busy enjoying his time with Liam to actually think about it.

"Hey Liam, why didn't we come out in school to everyone else?" Liam immediately stiffened at the question, that didn't go unnoticed by Zayn.
"Well...." Liam really didn't know how to say what was on his mind.
"Say it Liam." Zayn couldn't help but push Liam for an answer.
"I'm embarrassed. I'm scared that everyone would make fun of me because I'm dating you." A black hole took a huge place in Zayn's now broken heart. Was he hearing correctly? Did Liam really just say that?
"I'm an embarrassment to you?" Zayn's broken voice tugged at Liam's heart strings.
"Zayn.... I..." Liam didn't know how did he manage to say these words. And worst of all, he knew he couldn't take them back, for the damage has been already done.
"It's alright Liam I understand. I would be embarrassed too if my boyfriend wasn't completely human. It's just that I thought you were different, I guess I was wrong." What hurt the most was that Liam didn't follow him, it's like he didn't care.
One week of being utterly miserable was becoming a lot to handle. Zayn missed Liam terribly. He missed Liam's warm touch, his strong and protective arms, his heavenly scent, and lastly he just missed him. As of now, Zayn was sat alone at a lunch table, aimlessly moving his food around the plastic plate. He heard a loud screech of a chair but he didn't lift his head to see where the noise came from, but what caught his attention was the voice that soon followed, oh how he missed that voice.
"May I have your attention please. I have an announcement and I would like all of you to keep your mouths shut until I finish and preferably after that too. As you all know I'm gay. I made a terrible mistake by leaving this boy I like, no love, because of a very stupid reason. Zayn, I love you and I'm sorry. I realized that I'm embarrassed of myself for saying what I said to you. You're perfect, you're everything that I've ever wanted and I can't believe that I made you think that I didn't want to be seen with you. You're so precious and I love you so much and I can't bare living without you anymore. Would you please forgive me?" Zayn was awestruck as Liam and pretty much the rest of the school looked at him expectantly.
With a slight nod and a beautiful smile accompanying that, Zayn was lifted off the ground and spun around briefly before being placed on the ground again. The warm lips that he had missed so much were now placed onto his own and he just couldn't be happier.
"I'm sorry baby. I love you." Zayn kissed Liam again, not caring about the mixed stares that they were both receiving. All that mattered was that he had his Liam back in his arms.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.

A Man Led by the Heart of Another World
Note: original novel is written by me on ranobelib. me (RUS website), and is translated by me from Russian to English. So, if there will be mistakes — tell me. The Heart of the World is the most mysterious, but at the same time beautiful phenomenon. The epitome of the cyclical nature of being. Hidden from eyes of even the most desperate explorers deep in the bowels of the planet, it waited for the moment when the "vein" would bring it the soul of a certain person. A man to whom this world was alien also wanted to meet Heart again to tell it his story. That story will be about the very beginning of Everything, about the Observer and his sacrifice, but most of all that Scientist wanted to tell his story. The story of a Man Led by the Heart of Another World, full of contradictions, dialectics, heuristics and corpses.
