《The Daughter Of A Prime》Chapter 4 The Antarctic Part 1

SilverWing POV
Dear Diary
It’s been only a couple of days since we decided to stay on Earth, but not officially joined the Autobots. It’s been days since I began exploring Earth by Wheeljack’s side. We later received a call from “him” asking for help. They needed help in finding a couple of Iacon relics (I still don’t know why the Iacon relics are here on Earth). They were able to get these relic’s coordinates after the Decepticon ship somehow got a mind of its own thanks to Dark Energon and was able to take over the ship. I don’t know the whole story, but I really didn’t care to ask. They needed our help because they only were able to get four sets of relics coordinates and had to divide their resources. This meant that they needed all the help they could get. The only problem with this was that I got partnered up with the one bot that I wish to have nothing to do with anymore.

I was waiting for a Groundbridge on a plane site in a forest. Just then, a Groundbridge opened up in front of me. I sighed before crossing the Groundbridge, ending up on the coldest place on Earth.
‘The Antarctic’
On the other side, I saw “him” already there waiting for me. I rolled my optics before walking forward.
“Let’s get this over with so you could go back to your team and I could go back to do whatever I want” I said, walking past him.
“SilverWing, I…” He began, but I raised my servo with a digit out to stop him from speaking any further.
“I’m here for a mission. I’m not here to speak” I said, before transforming into my alt-mode, waiting for him to do the same and lead the way. I heard him sighed before transforming into his alt-mode. The whole ride was quiet. We didn’t speak at all with each other. I didn’t really care because I didn’t have anything to tell him. We then stopped once we were close to the relic. I transform back to my Bi-pedal mode. We began walking the rest of the way there.
“Hm, SilverWing” He called. I sighed.
“What do you want, Prime?” I asked.
“I know you don’t wish to speak with me, but…” He began, but I cut him off.
“I don’t, and if you already know that, then why are you still talking to me?” I asked. I heard him sighed.
“I just want you to know that I’m sorry” He said. I click my tongue.
“Whatever” I said, walking ahead so I won’t have to hear him anymore. Just then, I stopped at the tip of a hill and looked down, only to see Dreadwing with a group of Vehicons and Starscream.

“Finally” I said. I was hoping to find a couple of Decepticons to kick their afts. This was better because I will be able to not just kick a couple of Decepticon’s aft, but will be able to kick the aft of the Decepticon that killed my friends.
‘Dreadwing’
“C’mon, let’s go, SilverWing” Optimus said.
“After you” I replied.
We immediately transformed back into our alt-mode and drove down to meet with Dreadwing. Just when we were getting closer to the relic, I saw a bunch of Decepticons up ahead. We stopped halfway there and transformed back into our Bi-pedal modes. Just then, Dreadwing, who was the one leading this operation, stepped forward.
“Optimus Prime, I will request only once that you surrender the relic” Dreadwing demanded.
“I was going to request the same of you, Dreadwing” Optimus said.
“I would say that we’re all on equal footing, of course, there were not five of us, and simply two of you” Dreadwing told me. I rolled my optics.
“Six! If you’d relieve me of these ridiculous manacles!” Starscream yelled, moving his wrists around in the stasis cuffs as if he’d be able to break free. Just then, Optimus and Dreadwing stared at each down for a few minutes like it was the beginning of an anime battle or something. Finally, Dreadwing whipped out his missile gun, causing the Vehicons next to him to do the same, shooting the first shot. We immediately did the same.
‘So, Easy’ I thought.
I immediately use my quick cyber-wolf agility to dodge the attacks that were being shot at us, while also shooting at them. I managed to shoot one of the Vehicons shooting at us, while Optimus shot another one.
‘Like I said. Easy’ I thought.
Just then, Dreadwing shot at us a couple of missiles, but we easily dodge them. We then engage in battle with Dreadwing, who somehow manages to hold us both. We were fighting with our blades at first then switched to hand to hand combat afterward. Just then, I accidentally missed, giving Dreadwing enough time to hit me on my side. I hissed in pain when I felt a sharp pain on my right hip.
“Scarp! Why now?” I asked.
I had hurt my right hip a long time ago in a battle with an enemy sword, causing me to stay out of the battle for a few days until it healed. I was told by our medic back on Cybertron if I received an equal amount of damage that that sword caused me that time, then the pain will come back, but not the same as before, but it will still hurt a lot.

“SilverWing!” I heard my name get yelled. I looked up and saw Dreadwing about to attack me, but I got pushed out of the way at the last minute.
“Ouch!” I yelled, feeling my hip getting worse, but I was not going to allow that to stop me. I quickly, but slowly stood up. I slowly ran to the fight only to see an avalanche hit both Dreadwing and Optimus. I felt my optics wide at the sight. I tried to go down as fast as I could, but my hip only allowed me to walk slowly. I stopped when I couldn’t take it anymore. I growled before sitting down on a the ground
‘I really hope this does not hurt too much’ I thought.
I up straight then bend my knees, placing the bottom of my pedals together so that my heels touch. I took a deep breath in to center my stretch then gently pressed my knees down on both sides towards the floor and breathed out. I then heard the pop sound and I quickly covered my mouth when I accidentally let a horrible scream of pain.
It hurt so bad, but now my hip was back to normal. I laid on the cold ground for a couple of minutes before standing up with much difficulty. I took a deep breath in then out before quickly stretching out to get my hip working again.
‘Urg, hope this doesn’t happen again’ I thought.
Just then, I heard shooting up ahead, so I immediately made my way there only to see how Optimus who survived the avalanche killed a Vehicon and Starscream who I thought was with the Decepticons killed the other Vehicon. I sighed in relief when I saw that Optimus was okay. I slowly walked the rest of the way there.
“SilverWing” Optimus called. I replied with a “Hm”.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“I’m fine” I replied. Just then, I noticed Starscream getting and walking towards us.
“What a team we make. I’m so glad that you prevailed, Optimus Prime” Starscream said.
“Sure” I whispered.
I didn't believe not even one word that he said. I knew Starscream and he wanted something if he was acting this way to us. I just knew it.
“That dread Dreadwing was going to terminate me” Starscream said.
“Should have let him” I said, crossing my arms across my chest.
“Now… If you could just now remove my bonds, I can lead you two straight to the relic” Starscream said. I rolled my eyes. I told you guys that he wanted something. He just wants us to free him so he could run off like he always does, but I think Optimus knew that too. He didn’t free him, but instead took his weapon out then pointed at Starscream’s face.
“You will lead us there regardless” Optimus said. I saw Starscream then replied with a grumpy look on his face.
“Hmp… Your welcome” Starscream said. We then continue our long journey through the cold antarctic to find the missing relic.
“Be reasonable, Prime! This cold will freeze all three of our actuators!” Starscream grumbled. He continued to stalk along with Optimus blaster to his helm. I rolled my optics.
“The current temperatures are not extreme enough to affect our biology” Optimus replied.
“Yeah, don’t worry, you’ll survive” I said.
“Yes, but I’ll be miserable” He replied.
“I cannot believe that you take our alliance for granted. After all, I have done for the Autobots. Helping to restore your memory. Saving Arcee’s life” Starscream said.
“Don’t worry. I’m sure he’s gotta over it quickly” I said, sarcastically, rolling my optics again. I took a deep breath and bottled up my annoyance.
“While you have at times proved beneficial to us, it has been only to further your own interests” Optimus replied. Starscream scoffed.
“Well, we can’t all be as selfless as you, now can we?” Starscream grumbled, before continuing to walk forward again. I quickly looked at Optimus with confusion written all over my face.
“You lost your memory?” I asked. He nodded.
“A story for another time” He said.
The two of us then faced forward and walked on.
“SilverWing” Optimus called.
“What?” I asked.
“I know something’s wrong. I could see the pain in your face” He said. I sighed.
“I’m fine. I dislocated my hip, but I fixed it already. It hurts, but something that will stop me” I replied.
We kept walking on the blowing snow. Finally, we reached a cliff’s edge, overlooking the sight of a research facility.
“Just as I suspected… Humans” Starscream said. He then looked at us.
“We will find the relic here. So, let us reclaim what is rightfully ours” Starscream began, walking forward, but Optimus held him back.
“We cannot simply enter a human facility to search for Cybertronian relics” Optimus said. Starscream scoffed.
“Not even if they stole it?” He asked.
“I highly doubt he’s gonna allow any human to be exposed to danger” I said. The seeker grunted and turned away from us. Just then, Optimus contacted the rest of the team back at base for help.

They'll need to depend on each other more than ever if they hope for their new home to have any kind of future. In case you missed it, here's book one. ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.

As the son of the clan head and the next heir, that just wasn’t enough of an excuse to spare me from my father’s grueling training. For in his creed the only strength that mattered was that grasped in one’s own two hands. In my journey through the lands with my harem, I was grateful for his training as it saved my life multiple times when my girls weren’t there to engage in combat. This is my story."
