《The Daughter Of A Prime》Chapter 3 Dreadwing

SilverWing POV
Dear Diary
It’s been some time since we left Earth. Wheeljack and I traveled in space for so long, looking for any other survivor. I was starting to lose hope, that was until we found someone. It was a Wrecker. His name was Seaspray, but unfortunate for us, a Decepticon had intercepted the transmission and got to Seaspray first. We were lucky that Wheeljack’s ship didn’t get damaged in the explosion, but we were furious and immediately picked up the Decepticons signal. The Decepticon was Dreadwing. We later caught up with him and somehow led us back to Earth.

“Urg!” I yelled, hitting my helm on the ship’s wall. I groan in pain before glaring at Wheeljack.
“Be more careful! You are not carrying a sack of potatoes” I yelled.
“I don’t have time to be careful. We need to catch up to him” Wheeljack said.
“I know we do, but knocking me out will not help us” I said.
I shook my helm before seeing one of Wheeljack’s shots hit Dreadwing’s ship and crashed into the ground.
“Allow me to handle Dreadwing. I wish to be the one to show Dreadwing what happens when he messes with us” Wheeljack said, landing the ship. I sighed but nodded.
“Go ahead, but you better make him suffer” I said. He nodded.
“Always” He said before running outside. I sighed before hearing shooting and fighting outside. I stood up and walked outside to see Wheeljack fighting Dreadwing. I then also saw a jet on the sky, shooting at Dreadwing as well.
‘Should I help him?’ I thought.
Just then, I saw a Groundbridge opened up a couple of feet away from us. From that Groundbridge came Bulkhead, Arcee, Bumblebee, and “him”.
‘Nevermind’ I thought.
I then watched Dreadwing immediately begin to shoot at them. Arcee and Bumblebee shoot at Dreadwing while Bulkhead and “him” check on Wheeljack.
Just then, I saw Dreadwing scan the jet that was flying above us and was about to take flight, which caused Wheeljack to immediately shot at him, causing the whole place that Dreadwing was standing to blow up.
‘This will not be good’ I thought.
“Dreadwing, rig the place to blow” Wheeljack said.
‘No idiot you did’ I thought.
I sighed before pushing myself from the ship and making my way over to them. I really wish to stay on the ship, but I can’t hide from him forever.

“Dreadwing?” Bulkhead asked.
“That’s right. We have been following for almost half the galaxy” I said. I then watched Bulkhead immediately turn around to face me.
“SilverWing?” Bulkhead asked.
“Hey, Bulk. It’s really nice to see you again” I said, smiling.
“Talk later. Our con is getting away” Wheeljack said, walking back to the ship. I sighed before stopping him just at the same time as “he” got in front of him and stopped him as well.
“Wheeljack, there are other considerations, while upon this world, you two will do well to follow my lead” “He” said. I rolled my eyes. I now really just wanted to stay on the ship.
***
We were back at the Autobot base. Wheeljack was getting fixed up by Ratchet, while I stood at the side, waiting for Ratchet to be finished with Wheeljack.
“Ow… Take it easy, Doc. I need that arm” Wheeljack said. I sighed.
“Stop being a baby and deal with it, Jackie” I said.
“Hold still and maybe you’ll keep it” Ratchet added, going back to work.
“Look, Commander, apologies for the fireworks. Won’t happen again, but we tracked Dreadwing across a hundred light-years of space” Wheeljack explained to “him”.
“I thought you two were roving the galaxy? You know, looking for Autobot refugees?” Bulkhead asked.
“We were” I said.
“Until we found one. A Wrecker” Wheeljack said.
“Really? Who?” Bulkhead asked.
“Seaspray” I replied.
“Ha… How is old barnicle butt?” Bulkhead asked. I quickly looked away with a sad look on my face
“Not so good, Bulk. Blown to bits actually” Wheeljack explained.
“What? No” Bulkhead said, taking a step back. Wheeljack then explained what had happened to them.
“I know of this, Dreadwing. He was captain of a seeker Armada and as such, like his twin Skyquake, fiercely loyal to the Decepticon cause. Dreadwing has no doubt traveled to Earth to pay allegiance to his one true Master” “He” said.
“Hope he’s enjoying the visit. It’s going to be his last” Wheeljack said, moving away from Ratchet.
“Agree” I said.
“Wheeljack, SilverWing, this planet is heavily inhabited. Any strike we make against the Decepticons must be carefully measured as a team. Lest we risk endangering the human population” “He” said.
“Are you suggesting we sit back and do nothing?” Wheeljack asked. I click my tongue.
“I’m sorry to tell you this or I’m not, but I don’t work well with others… Optimus” I said but said this name with a hint of disgust. I could tell that he noticed because I saw a small hint of sadness show his optics, but I really didn’t care.

“You, Loose Cannon! Your cowboy antics almost blew our cover!” I heard a new voice yelled. I looked towards the new voice and saw an older male human. He was older compared to Miko, Jack, and Raf.
“Cover?” Wheeljack asked.
“We are robots in disguise, Jackie. You two need an Earth-Base Vehicle mode outside of here” Bulkhead explained.
“In our defense, we didn’t know until now” I said, hands on my hips.
“That spaceship you two shot down? Not Earth-Based. I had to jump through some big hoops to get it hauled out of plain sight. You need to keep your people on a tighter leash, Prime” The human said. I growled.
“A tighter leash?” Wheeljack asked. I could tell that he was now offended by that last comment because I was also annoyed by that last comment.
“Let me clarify, tiny” Wheeljack said. I immediately stopped Wheeljack before he could get any closer to the human. I then ignored the looks that I was receiving and walked to the older male human.
“I’m sorry to tell you this, but I no longer follow Optimus Prime’s orders. I stopped following his orders a long time ago and don’t plan on starting to follow them again for as long as I live” I said, before walking away from everyone. I was not in the mood to listen to no one anymore.
***
I don't know how long it’s been, but it must have been long.
I later found out that Wheeljack had left to look for Dreadwing with Bulkhead to get revenge. I was mad that they didn’t tell me, but understood that they only wanted to give me my space to calm down.
Just then, “he” volunteered to go look for them. I immediately volunteered to go with him, but he didn’t agree with that like the asshole that he is.
“What do you mean I can’t go?” I asked. I was really starting to get impatient.
“I will go alone and that’s final, SilverWing” He said. I growled. I was getting really angry and could feel my cyber-wolf instincts acting up.
“Grrr, listen carefully, Prime” I began, feeling my ears and tail twitch.
“I’m not one of your little obedient soldiers. I’m an independent Cybertronian. I don’t have to follow your orders. I will go and you can’t stop me” I said, growling.
“SilverWing, I will not tolerate this kind of behavior. We no longer live on Cybertron. We live in a different world with different rules that we all have to follow to keep the inhabitants of his planet safe” He said. I growled, feeling my cyber-wolf side coming out.
Just then, I felt someone’s servo land on my shoulder. I immediately stop and turn around to face the person that had stopped me.
“Please, SilverWing. Calm down” Ratchet said. I immediately stopped. I looked at him before looking at myself, seeing my cyber-wolf claws out and ready to attack. I felt my optics wide before allowing my servos to go back to normal.
“Find” I said, before walking away. I couldn’t believe I was about to allow my cyber-wolf side to take over my body and probably not just hurt him, but hurt others that have nothing to do with this.
***
“Listen, Commander. I... just want to say it was an honor watching your work. I-I think maybe I had the wrong idea about you” Wheeljack said, telling “him” that.
I didn’t see what happened out there, but from what both Wheeljack and Bulkhead told me. It was one hell of a fight.
“It would seem that you place a greater value on community than you otherwise let on” Optimus said, stretching his servo to Wheeljack.
“Whoa, let’s not jump the gun here” Wheeljack said.
“Agree” I said. Just then, we both got hit on the back. We immediately looked back, seeing Bulkhead standing behind us.
“C’mon, you two. If you guys leave, then you two might just probably end up coming back again” Bulkhead said.
“All that wasted fuel. Energon it’s in short supply” Arcee added.
“:: Arcee’s right. There’s not that much Energon::” Bumblebee said.
“Then again, we do have limited space” Ratchet added. I rolled my optics but ended up smirking. I looked at Wheeljack. I nodded, making him nod back.
“I’m not sure we are ready to give up our freedom just yet” Wheeljack said.
“Maybe we could do some exploring. See if this rock suits us” I said.
“No offense to the Jackhammer, but you two need an Earth-Base vehicle mode” Bulkhead said. We looked at Bulkhead before smirking.

8 203Cycles of Ruin
Civilizations rise and fall. Kith build them up and monsters, led by powerful dungeon keepers, bring them to ruin. For three thousand years the cycle has been maintained by the Guild of Chaos and its endless hordes of minions who—in absence of their long lost creators—have taken it upon themselves to keep the realms of the universe in balance. The Guild has grown efficient at this task, but some among its ranks have begun to ponder the utility of a universe that has been robbed of the very possibility of change. Basil von Doom is one such dungeon keeper working for the Guild, leading an army of loyal minions from one conquest to the next; burning civilizations and sifting through the ruins in search of forbidden knowledge that the races of kith were never meant to possess. But having spent more than half a century in pursuit of glory and fame—trying to live up to the legacy of his father—Basil has grown indifferent towards his work. Desperate for a worthy challenge, but bound by his duties as a dungeon keeper, he has turned his mind towards uncovering the ultimate fate of the previous master of his house and the secrets that were buried with him. Now the young Master of House Doom must balance his growing interest in pursuing the trail of his father with the responsibilities that come with running a dungeon in service to the Guild of Chaos. To remain in good standing with the Guild, Basil has even accepted the task of mentoring an apprentice dungeon keeper, a young succubus named Elnora. It is at the tail end of her apprenticeship that the story begins; with a civilization poised to fall—its greatest heroes gathering for one last assault on the heart of darkness—and Basil striking up a conversation with his apprentice that will set into motion the unraveling of the universe. ***This is a rewrite and continuation of my story that was first posted on RoyalRoad a few years ago.
