I was standing behind the Hokage during the chunin exams. Everything was going fine until the last match.
Garra the 1 tailed jinchuriki was released during his fight with Sasuke.
" Hokage- sama" I call out and turn to see him being taken by the Kazekage. My first instant was to run and contain the jinchuriki but something in my instincts told me to protect the Hokage. Something was definitely wrong.
So I decided to follow from a distance, my suspicions worsened when I saw ninja's fighting on the streets. Making a few shadow clones I sent them to help in the fight while I continued to follow the Kages.
" Kazekage-san I have to help my shinobi what are you doing" the Hokage spoke and suddenly a barrier lifted that covered the entire area.
" You really have gotten old sensei" the kazekage no Orochimaru hissed. His voice was amused and prideful. The Hokage instantly jumped back.
" Orochimaru" He spoke and the Kazekages skin peeled off revealing Orochimaru.
" It's finally time you died old man" Orochimaru spoke and the Hokage took off his robes revealing his combat outfit underneath.
" It does feel nice to fight my sensei. How about I give you the same honor" Orochimaru spoke and 3 coffins rose from the ground. That instant I was next to the Hokage with my Katana drawn.
" I apologize for interrupting" I speak and Orochimaru looks gleeful. Hokage- sama on the other side looks worried.
The coffins open revealing the past Hokage.
Hashirama was a tall man with tanned skin and dark eyes. He had waist-length black hair styled in a center-parted fringe that framed his face. He wore a light-brown, short-sleeved, kimono shirt with mesh armor underneath, held closed by a red sash, and navy blue pants.

Tobirama was a fair-skinned man with silver, shaggy hair and dark-colored eyes. He had three red markings on his face, one under each of his eyes and one on his chin. He wore blue armor with a distinctive white fur collar over a simple black suit.
Minato... Dad. Was easily compared to Naruto. They both had blue eyes and spiky, blonde hair. Minato also had jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face. His outfit consisted of a standard Konoha uniform with two bands on both of his sleeves, a green, blue, and blue sandals.
" Hiruzen" Tobirama spoke, but the Hokage could only stare. Not that I was different I was drilling whiles on the side of my dads head.
When he finally looked at my time stopped.
" A father-daughter reunion how nice" Orochimaru spoke sarcastically and dad's eyes widened.
" Akari" He spoke as if my name was a prayer. A single tear rolled down my face. His eyes mirrored mine as he took a step forward.
" My name is Akari Namikaze-Uzumaki and I will do what I have to in order to keep my village safe" I spoke more to myself then to my dad and for the first time I felt my voice waver when I spoke my ninja way.
I heard Kurama say and I could picture him and Rin.
" Forcing a little girl to fight her father. How low have you gotten Orochimaru" Hokage- sama growled.
The other Hokages had different reactions.
Hashirama looked ready to murder Orochimaru.
Tobirama looked more at me than Orochimaru. His gaze held understanding and a small amount of respect.
Dad was smiling softly. Pride filled every look he sent my way.
" Enough of the pleasantries, Orochimaru said and made a hand seal. I focused my attention on the past Kages as they all got into a fighting stance.

" Hokage- same your orders, I asked and the Hokage sent me a look.
" I will not make you fight your father" He spoke firmly.
" You don't get to decide that sensei" Orochimaru spoke and Dad suddenly turned in my direction.
" I will do what it takes for my village, I say again this time no one could question my resolve.
" As a ninja of this village, as the daughter of the fourth Hokage, and as the jinchuriki of the nine tails" I finish chakra tails sprout from my back as my whiskers darken.

There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!
