Kakashi Pov

Naruto showed us around the first floor and then we went up the stairs. The last time I was here I was with sensei and he announced the Kushina-nee was pregnant.

The place has changed. Minato-sensei and Kushina-nee didn't like having too many pictures of themselves in one room. Now I see that Akari has placed pictures of them in every room. The walls that used to be a dark beige are now a cream white.

" Look this is Kakashi-sensei as a kid" Naruto exclaimed and I quickly looked up. Naruto was pointing at our team picture.

" No way" Sakura squealed and I felt the heat from my cheeks. I sent a pointed glare at my blond genin and he grinned back.

" This floor is mainly the rooms," Naruto said looking away from me and entering the room next to the stairs. Sakura, Sasuke, and I followed.

The orange and blue colors made it obvious that this was his room.

" I expected a mess but Maybe your not so bad Naruto" Sakura commented picking up a picture of Naruto when he was 8 holding up a bucket of paint, with Akari next to him looking amused.

" Imouto likes cleaning, so she enters my room" Naruto responded with an embarrassed blush and Sasuke scoffs.

I scan the room and spot several defense seals. My eyes land on the desk next to his bed.

" The tale of a gutsy ninja," I say and my team turns to me.

" Yeah" Naruto states softly. The other two trade a glance.

"Let's go!" Naruto exclaims jumping up and leaving his room and going into the one next to it.

This one was Akari's. Like Naruto's, it had a single picture on her dresser of her and Naruto eating ramen at the age of 7.

" I saw Sasuke stiffen from the corner of my eye and saw a picture on top of the mini table in the corner of her room.

It was also of a seven-year-old Akari but this time she was with Shisui, Itachi, and Mikoto at a training ground. His Sharingan was ablaze for a second before he moved his gaze to his mother than away from the picture.

I quickly moved in between him and the table. My eyes landing on a huge seal on her otherwise pure white wall.

" Whats that seal Naruto," Sakura asked and Naruto looked up and grinned.

" It's a memory seal if you want to save a memory to put your hand on it and send chakra than you can watch it whenever you want, here let me show you" He explained jumping up and down.

He placed his hand in the middle of the seal and sent a blast of chakra that nearly cracked the wall. Looks like I still need to help him with control.

My eyes widened as the whole melted into a scenery. She was in a different training ground than before and she was with Daich Senju. It seemed like she was 4 in the memory. She was on the ground panting.

" Again," the nine-year-old boy said sliding into a stance. Akari picked up a kunai and stood up before standing in a different stance.

Akari then began to flow through the basic academy style as the nine-year-old boy dodged. After a few seconds, he got behind Akari and thew her to the ground.

The wall faded back into view.

" Wow," Sakura said her eyes twinkling in amazement. She stood up and placed her hand on the wall and sent a bit of chakra.

The wall melted again, this time we saw a four year old Akari putting her eye to a door.

The door suddenly opened reveling Asuma and the Hokage. Akari put her hands over her mouth and her eyes widened.

Sakura cooed.

" What were you doing," Asuma asked and the small Akari beamed up to him a small blush on her cheeks.

" Nothing," She said and her eyes grew wide and teary.

" I'm I in trouble" she whimpered and Asuma melted.

" Of course not" Asuma said and Akari made a complete 180.

" Yatta!" Akari yelled and she hugged her uncle.

The wall faded back into view.

" Akaru used to be a lot like you huh," Sakura said looking at Naruto.

" A bit" Naruto said and Sakura looked at Sasuke.

" Go ahead Sasuke- kun" She said and pulled him to the wall. Sasuke rolled his eyes and placed his hand on the seal.

As soon as the memory came Sasuke stiffened. Mikoto Uchiha was in front of Akari glaring to the Hokage.

Akari was covered in bandages. she was closely clutching a bunny stuffed animal.

" What happened" She growled her Sharingan blazing.

" Mikoto Please" the Hokage tried and Mikoto took a step forward.

" I get a call from an Anbu telling me that the Hokage needed me. I placed Akari in your care because I trusted you to keep her safe. And now she is so traumatized that I had to help my goddaughter change. So I am waiting for an explanation" Mikoto seethed, her teeth we bared and she look as if she was about tackle to Hokage.

" Kumo ninja attacked her team. We believe that they were after Akari. She is the only survivor" The Hokage said and Mikoto's Sharingan vanished as she turned to a shaking Akari.

She instantly got on her knees and hugged the girl.

The wall faded back into my vision. The room was silent. Sakura was tearing up, Sasuke was shaking and Naruto was looking away.

" Mikoto gave me that dress as a gift for starting my first C ranked mission" A voice spoke from the door.

A turned around and saw Akari leaning against the door. Her eyes were swimming with pain as she smiled softly at my team.

Sakura let out a choked sob.

" You knew my mother," Sasuke said and Akari's eyes grew fond.

" She was my godmother. She helped raise me" Akari answered and walked up to the seal.

The wall turned into the street in front of the Hokage's office.

Mikoto was grinning in front of Akari facing her. Itachi was watching from a sideline.

" Now what do we do if a boy gets close to you," Mikoto asked at Itachi coughed up the water he was drinking.

" Kick them and run," The 3-year-old Akari said and Sakura giggled.

Itachi looked at his mother in amusement.

" That's my girl," Mikoto said and winked at her eldest son.

The wall melted.

" Now let's have dinner," Akari said and without a thought, we followed her.
