Akari was raised as the Namikaze-Uzumaki heiress. She lived with the third Hokage until she became a genin.

Akari is Naruto's little twin sister. She didn't know about this until she became 6 and became a chunin, when she found out about Kurama. This is when she first spoke to Naruto and immediately liked him.

For a year they got along great even going as far as to call each other siblings, even though Naruto did not know how close he was to the truth. At the age of seven, she managed to convince the council to let Naruto live with her in her apartment, making a deal with the Hokage, that he would move into the Namikaze estate when he found out about Kurama

She trained him in basic chakra control and kunai throwing. Also tutoring him on the aspects of other nations. She also taught him the basic Uzumaki Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. Never going as far as to teach him Fuinjutsu just in case he found out about Kurama.

The only two people that knew that she and Naruto were living together were Shikamaru, who knows the whole story, including Naruto's parents, and Kiba, who just thought they were orphans.

Her personality was mostly described by her dad and Uncle. She was a genius and loved to protect her family. She also has a bit of her mom in her so she can be childlike and cheeky. She loves to mess with others making the Hokage think that she will do well in the T & I unit.

Itachi and Kisame- She knows the truth behind the massacre and then a year later she ran into them. At first, Kisame was suspicious, but even he couldn't deny the relief Itachi held when he saw her. After all, Itachi was her sensei. After a spar, which Itachi won, leaving a slightly pouting Akari they split paths, and a month later they met again. This time the spar lasted longer but Itachi still won, and he agreed to have the Flying Thunder God Jutsu mark planted on him so they could spar at any time. Kisame after a year of this started to get along with Akari.
