《Henry Cavill imagines》Mr and Mrs Denver p9

Today was the day. The day you were going to steal the nuclear bomb plans from Vivienne Vinciguerra. This morning Vivienne had invited you out to brunch and there she had invited you round to her house this afternoon and you of course agreed. Solo had informed you that she had called him whilst you were heading home to ask him over just a bit earlier than you and not tell you. You knew that this was the day she wanted to let you walk in on her and Solo.
So here you were seated in the foyer on her couch. Her maid had told you that Vivienne was just getting ready. Yeah ready to ruin my alter egos life, you thought. You took a few deep breaths, you needed to make this look real.
The plan was to walk in, act surprised to distract her and then Solo was either going to knock her out or just tie her up. You were hoping that he opted for the knocking out option. Illya and Gaby were here as well. They were leading a squadron to take out the base where the bomb (we aren't sure if it is completed or not) is supposed to be kept.
"Mrs Denver." The maid suddenly spoke causing your head to snap up.
"Ms Vinciguerra will see you now, she asked me to bring you to her room."
"Oh ok, thank you." You smiled sympathetically. Having Vivienne as your boss would be hell for sure.
"No problem dear." She smiled kindly. As the two of you headed through the large halls you made pleasant conversation with the elderly maid, who's name is Esmerelda. The two of you stopped at a hallway which had one single door at the end of it.
"It's just that door at the end dear." She spoke.
"Thank you so much Esmerelda." You smiled and for a moment her smile faltered. "You're such a nice girl, it's a shame." She muttered.
"Why is it a shame Esmerelda?" You asked in fake confusion and she shook her head. "Don't worry dear, I wish you the best." She spoke, her voice wavering before she hurried off.
You felt bad for her, she obviously knew what was going on and probably had witnessed so many heartbroken wives leave here.
You took a breath as you walked down the hall. You can do this. You exhaled as you stood in front of the door. You needed to act completely devastated, mentally preparing yourself to cry.
You opened the door a crack and already you could hear the panting and the moans which made you cringe.
"Vivienne?" You asked as sweetly as you could as you opened the door.
Sure enough Vivienne and Solo were entangled in the sheets of a huge four poster bed. Vivienne was clad in some skimpy black lingerie kissing him passionately. His hair was disheveled and his dress shirt was unbuttoned, hanging loosely on his shoulders. The two paused their actions looking at you in surprise but you could already see a smirk on Vivienne's face.

"What- C-Christian? Vivienne?" You stammered as you stared at them wide eyed.
"How could you? Why?" You whimpered as you made your way towards the middle of the room.
"Darling it's been going on for a while." She chuckled darkly and you mustered up some tears. "I trusted you." You cried as your tears began to fall down your cheeks.
"Why would you both do this to me?" You sobbed and Vivienne snickered as she grabbed her robe from the bedside table pulling it on over her underwear.
"Sweetheart I was only using you to get to that delicious husband of yours." She laughed tauntingly. You watched out of the corner out of your eye as Solo crept off the bed to move towards you. You needed to distract her.
You began to back away from her as she approached you.
"Why would you do this to me? I thought you were my friend." You whispered as the tears continued to spill down your face.
"Oh darling. You almost had me fooled, you know that?" She laughed shaking her head and your brows furrowed. Did she know? She couldn't possibly.
"What are you talking about? You just slept with my husband and you're saying I fooled you?" You yelled as Solo moved behind her, ready to knock her out.
"Ok Eloise- or whatever you're real name is, let's cut the crap. I know you're faking it." She chuckled darkly. Oh shit. You internally begged that Solo would just knock her out already.
"I don't know what you're talking about." You said awkwardly and she sighed.
"Let's stop the lying shall we?" She smirked and before you could comprehend what was happening she had whipped out a small gun, hidden in her nightgown. A loud shot rung out and a white hot pain seared through your stomach.
"No!" Solo yelled. You glanced down at your stomach and gasped as you saw a red crimson stain forming on your shirt. You brought a shaking hand to your stomach, pulling it away to see your blood staining the skin. Your legs began to shake and soon they buckled underneath you causing you to slump to your knees.
"You bitch-" Solo began as he pulled out his gun from his back pocket and pointed it at her.
"If you so much as think about shooting me, I blow her pretty little brains out. You understand me?" Vivienne snarls pointing the gun at my head.
"Put the gun down and come stand in front of me." She instructed harshly. You watched Solo as real tears streamed down your face. He was staring at you worriedly, his eyes wide as he followed her instructions. He placed his gun on the bed and edged his way to in front of her. He was just in front of you and slightly to the side so Vivienne had a clear shot at you.

"You know you two almost got away with it." She laughed glancing between the two of you. "I'll give you credit, you were good. I almost believed it." She sneered. "You know what gave you away? Victoria kept a journal. I only found out about it two days ago, it got sent to me from one of her former employees. And you know what her last entry was? It was about a dark haired handsome man who was posing as an art dealer. I just thought to myself, what are the chances, I couldn't possibly have this luck. I'm going to be able to kill one of the people responsible for my sister's death, Agent Napoleon Solo." She taunted.
"Even when that bitch is dead she still manages to be a pain in my ass." Solo spoke and Vivienne's eyes narrowed.
"Careful what you say Mr Solo or else your little partner will wind up a dead bitch." She sneered and his eyes blazed.
"What do you want?" He asked as he glanced back at you, highly aware that you were currently bleeding out.
"Same thing I've always wanted. Revenge." She stated. "And you know what a great revenge is? Making you watch your little friend bleed to death right in front of you before I kill you." She smiled sweetly. "And you know what the funny thing is Solo? I think you've actually fallen for her. Which of course makes this whole thing so much more entertaining for me." She giggled and your gaze snapped up to Solo whose face had fallen.
You suddenly began coughing and gasping, the air suddenly becoming a lot harder to breathe in. You weakly collapsed into a foetal position on your side as you tried to apply more pressure to your wound.
"Look please just let her go, she's going to die." Solo begged as he looked at you dying right in front of him. Your vision had started going fuzzy as you glanced around the bedroom. You spied her large desk near the window and behind the desk was a large paining. You squinted making sure you weren't seeing things when you realised that it was slightly tilted to the right.
You knew where the disk was.
"Solo." You whispered weakly as you looked up at him. "*yn* it's ok." He murmured as he studied you desperately, his eyes glistening.
"Oh god I can't take this anymore. It's pitiful." She huffed aiming the gun at your head.
A loud gun shot echoed through the room, but it wasn't fired by Vivienne. Solo glanced over at the door to see Illya holding a gun with Gaby by his side. Illya lowered his gun and Solo glanced back to see Vivienne on the floor, a bullet wound on the side of her head. With the confirmation that she was dead, Solo was at your side in a flash kneeling down beside you.
"*yn*, I'm here it's ok." He murmured as he knelt over you. "S-Solo the disk." You coughed weakly.
"You're more important." He stated and you shook your head. "Gaby and Illya are looking for it right now ok, just relax." He murmurs calmly as he cups your face gently. "B-behind the painting." You croaked out.
He opened his mouth to ask you what you were talking about when he spied the large painting behind the desk. That was when he realised.
"Gaby! Look behind the painting behind her desk!" He shouted before returning his attention to you.
Solo was a calm, collected and smooth person most of the time. Actually pretty much all the time. But when he looked back at you to see your eyes fluttering closed something sparked inside him and he went into full panic mode.
"*yn*, no no no no! You need to stay with me." He begged as he shook you lightly.
"Solo, this is going to sound c-cheesy but just hold me." You murmured and he shook his head as his eyes welled up. "Please." You whimpered.
He propped you up in his arms, hugging you tightly against his chest. He noticed your eyes starting to droop again.
"Hey no *yn* you have to stay awake so we can get you help!" He whispered gently and your eyes fluttered. "Please." He murmured. By this time Gaby and Illya had found the disk and had left, hopefully going to get help.
"I need you. Because honestly these two weeks have been the best two weeks of my life. You've made me laugh and open up in a way that I never thought I would. I know you said this wouldn't be a cliche where we fell for each other but I've fallen for you sweetheart. So hard. I can't believe I'm even saying this out loud." He spoke, forcing a laugh as he shook his head. "But I love you *yn*, God I'm so in love with you and I can't lose you." He admitted.
"I never thought I would hear Napoleon Solo say he loved anything." You laughed weakly as you let out another fit of coughs.
"Well apart from boobs and alcohol." He added causing you to giggle before gasping for air.
"Don't strain yourself." He whispered running a hand through your hair.
"Napoleon." You murmured squeezing his hand as you felt yourself losing consciousness.
"I-I love you too." You spoke, smiling lazily as your eyes fluttered closed. You felt Napoleon place a soft kiss to your hair as your grip on his hand loosened.
"Hey *yn*! Stay with me!" He yelled as his face faded into darkness.

Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Recently, they have been in a conflict for [Kokaine], a resource that can only be found between the borders of the two countries. Or will he forge his own path of solitary conquest and get high by sniffing [Kokaine]? NOTE: This story takes place in a medieval fantasy setting with swords and magic. There are Elves, Beastkin, Orcs, and monsters as well. There will be a lot of lame jokes and names, please don't be offended. And remember to leave a review!
