《Henry Cavill imagines》Mr and Mrs Denver p5

"Ugh my feet are killing me." You whined as the two of you entered the hotel room. You plopped down on the couch tugging off your heels and chucking them as far away from you as possible.
Solo said nothing as he picked them up, walking into the bedroom no doubt to put them back in the walk in wardrobe.
"So did she hit on you?" You asked as you followed him into the bedroom.
"I think 'hit' is an understatement, it was more like a smash." He explained causing you to let out a laugh.
"Did it go to plan though?" You asked as you ambled into the bathroom to change into your pyjamas.
"It went exactly to plan. She wants to meet up tomorrow to discuss what pieces of art she'd like me to 'acquire' for her. Oh and she told me not to tell you we're meeting up. Oops." He said sarcastically causing you to roll your eyes and laugh.
"God, what a skank." You sighed as you brushed your hair out.
"What was with that stunt you pulled by the way?" He asked from the bedroom.
"What stunt?" You questioned as you slipped your pyjamas on.
"You know. The whole kiss thing. You weren't jealous where you?" He teased causing you to scoff as you wandered back into the bedroom.
"Please Solo. This isn't going to be one of those cliche things where we fall for each other and it's all sappy. It was simply strategy. If she thinks we are totally in love then she'll see that as more of a challenge and be more interested." You explained as you hung your dress up.
"I see your point." He nodded his head as he studied you.
"So did she swoon at your little trick?" You asked as you sat on the edge of the bed. "What trick?" He asked, mimicking you from earlier.
"The one where you stole her watch when you kissed her hand. I saw you giving it back to her as I was coming back from the bathroom." You smirked and he chuckled shaking his head.
"Ah yes that trick." He grinned.
"So, can you teach me?" You asked him cheekily.
"Teach you? What exactly?" He echoed.
"Can you teach me to be slight of hand?"
"So basically you're asking me to teach you how to steal?" He chuckled and you shrugged. "Whatever you like to call it."
"And why exactly would a pretty girl like you want to learn how to steal?" He smirked as he hung his jacket over a chair.

"I'd much prefer if I could just steal a file or a computer chip rather than having to bat my eyelashes or sleep with a middle aged man." You explained and he nodded.
"Fair enough." He agreed as he loosened his tie. "Alright stand up." He sighed and you beamed jumping off the bed.
"The key is to distract them with something else, to always keep their eyes on something else." He explains.
"The easiest one is when you pretend to stumble into them." He spoke as he stumbled onto you, grabbing your shoulders to steady himself.
"See?" He smirked holding up his hand which had your necklace that your mother had given you when you turned eighteen dangling from his grasp.
"What the hell?" You gasped, touching your neck to find it bare. You hadn't even realised. "That is so cool." You murmured.
"This one takes some more practice but, you just need to keep eye contact with them." He explained and before you could ask what he meant he had a gentle grip on your wrist. You watched him as he made eye contact with you. Oh my god his freaking eyes. They were a beautiful emerald green, the kind that you could just get lost in.
Your heart pounded as he placed his lips softly to your hand, a smirk on his lips as his eyes flickered up to look at you. You retracted your hand in a fluster as he held your bracelet up in his hand, along with your necklace.
"Your turn." He stated as he rolled his shirtsleeves up exposing his muscly forearms.
"If you can get this watch off me without me noticing, you can keep it and you can get your necklace and bracelet back." He grinned.
"Alright." You nodded. "I accept that challenge Solo." You smirked mischievously.
You made your way over to the opposite side of the room, taking a breath in as you got into the zone. Solo tried to resist a smile that wanted to form on his lips at how determined you were. You straightened up and began to make your way over to Solo.
"Hi Sir, it's nice to meet you. I'm *yn*." You smiled sticking out your hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." He grinned locking your hands in a hand shake.
"Yes so this is a nice place isn't it?" You asked as you continued to shake his hand as you tried to take off his watch.
"Ma'am, why are you shaking my hand for so long?" He questioned pulling his hand away. You groaned and he chuckled at your expense.

"Ok, do over." You insisted hurrying back over to your original starting position.
You'd been at this for an hour, you had done everything you could possibly think of but every time Solo had found a flaw or a reason why it wouldn't work. You would be lying if you said you weren't frustrated. You were just about to admit defeat when an idea popped into your head. It was spontaneous and a bit stupid, but it just might work. You were an incredibly competitive person and if this had a chance of working, you were going to do it.
As you approached him for what must have been the twentieth time, a small smile twitched at your lips.
"Hi, I don't think I've seen you here before." You smiled sweetly as you came to a stop in front of Solo.
"Yes, I only just recently-"
You cut him off by smashing your lips to his, completely taking him by surprise. It didn't take long before he was greedily kissing you back, one hand attaching itself to your hip and the other coming up to cup your face. As you passionately kissed him you opened your eyes to see his closed.
One of your hands wrapped around his neck whilst the other went up to the hand that was cupping your face. You watched his face carefully as you fiddled with the watch. You smirked against his lips as you pulled it off his wrist.
"I win." You grinned against his lips and his eyes fluttered open. His forehead creased in confusion. You giggled as you held up his watch triumphantly in your hand.
"I can't believe I just stole from a thief." You squealed as you hopped onto the bed, examining the watch.
"Well played *yn*, well played." He admitted after a moment causing your smile to widen at his praise.
"Here I'll trade you." You smiled standing up to hand him back his watch and he shook his head.
"We made a deal, you get your necklace and bracelet back and keep the watch." He insisted and you laughed pressing his watch into his hand.
"Solo I'm not going to take your watch off you. I'm serious, take it." You laughed and he sighed, reluctantly nodding as he handed you your jewellery back.
"Since you lost you can help me put my necklace back on." You joked as you put your bracelet back on.
You handed him your necklace, turning your back to him wordlessly as you shifted your hair to one side exposing your neck to him. You slightly jumped as the cool metal of the pendant hit your skin. You became much more aware that he was behind you as his fingers brushed against your hot flesh.
"You know." He spoke huskily behind you. "You didn't exactly play fair before." He continued and you could practically hear the smirk in his voice.
"Oh really, how so?" You asked casually even though your heart was pounding against your rib cage.
"Kissing me isn't exactly subtle, I don't know how that would go down on a complete stranger." He chuckled deeply as he clipped up your necklace. A breath caught in your throat as his large hands skimmed your shoulders and his hot breath fanned over your neck.
"Well it still worked didn't it? I didn't realise there was rules that I had to follow." You laughed as his hands rested on your shoulders. You knew you should've moved away by now, or turned around but a part of you willed you to stay in this intimate position with Solo.
"Mm I'm beginning to realise you don't exactly like to follow the rules." He spoke causing a shiver to run up your spine.
"Rules are made to be broken Solo." You teased finally turning around, coming face to face with him.
Solo just hummed as he studied your face. It was only when you noticed his tongue dart over his lips and his eyes flicker to yours that you knew you needed to stop whatever the hell was going on.
"You should go to sleep, you've got a busy day of being wooed by an evil witch to rest up for." You laughed before turning around and making your way towards your bed. Luckily he just laughed and headed towards the bathroom to get changed.
You took a deep breath and slipped under the covers. When you heard the shower running you ran a hand through your hair stressfully and let out a groan. What the hell just happened?
He was totally flirting with you and you had actually liked it. God you were an idiot. You knew this would happen, you always fell for guys like him. Always telling yourself that this one would be different and wouldn't hurt you. You were always wrong.
You sighed as you snuggled under the covers, turning your bedside lamp off. You tried to forget about those green eyes and the way his lips felt against yours and kept telling yourself that you had to focus on the mission.

Wander West, in Shadow
BOOK 1 COMPLETED A young wizard journeys west, through dark forests and dangerous lands, searching for something. Accompanied by a wild witch who has secrets of her own, they come across terrible creatures, hauntings, cursed villages, and memories from their past. Who else will they meet along their journey, and to find what he is looking for, how far will the wizard have to wander west? NOTE: The above synopsis is intentionally written to be as spoiler-free as possible. If you would like a more in-detail synopsis, one that contains minor spoilers, please check out the "Synopsis" chapter at the beginning of this fiction. If you read and enjoy, please leave a rating or review! FORMERLY TITLED: THE GLIMMERLING This story was formerly titled "The Glimmerling", because the first part was a short story of that title; it has since been expanded upon, thus the title change. Chapters 1-8 (30k words) are the first 'arc', if you want to get a feel for the story. To give some context on the setting: Magic is a bit weaker in this story than you might be used to, and we start off following some relatively new magic users. For some perspective, being able to light a campfire with magic is considered relatively advanced for someone who is the age of the main character. Magic can become very powerful - and there are some examples of powerful wizards within this story - but it's not where the main characters are yet. Part of the story is about following them as they learn more about magic. Enemies are also very dangerous, and running, hiding, or trying to talk their way out of a dangerous situation is often a better choice than fighting for the characters. While I have added tags for traumatizing content, sexuality, violence, swearing, etc. I try to avoid super-explicit descriptions of these things. But they are part of the story.
