~ Time Jump - The Weekend ~
I ended up getting all of my homework and missed assignments finished before Thursday, which was good. It took up a lot of my free time though; it wasn't surprising though. Garrett asked me if I'd like to hangout this weekend, and I said sure even though Johnny was gonna spend the weekend at my place. I wanted to make sure I hung out with each of them, because they're the most important people in my life right now. My parents are important too, but they just don't understand me the way Garrett and Johnny do. "We should stop by to grab something to eat. I'm starving." Johnny said as he and I got into his car. "That's a great idea, I'm starving too." I said with a slight laugh. I turned on the radio as we pulled out of the parking lot, which made him smile. When my phone buzzed, I thought it was Garrett, but it wasn't him.
Hey, how was your day sweetie?
I was shocked to see that my mom messaged me. She usually calls me every Sunday, so I figured they were getting ready to come back home. I was happy to be able to see them again, but I knew that Johnny wouldn't be able to stay over.
Hey, it was pretty good. How has your day been?
My day was pretty good. Your dad and I are having a great time in Florida, but we can't wait to see you again.
That's really good! When are you coming back anyway?
She said they were coming back in two weeks, which made me feel a little better. It meant that I had a little more time to spend with Johnny. I told her what happened to my car, and she ended up asking me questions about the repair. We said our goodbyes before Johnny and I pulled into a restaurant parking lot. "Sorry, that was my mom." I said as I took my seatbelt off. "It's fine." He replied with a sweet smile as he turned the radio off. We got out of the car and walked towards the restaurant Johnny picked out for us. I wasn't surprised to figure out that we were at an Italian restaurant, because Italian is my favorite food. "Hello, how may I help you two this evening? Shall we start with some drinks?" A waiter asked as he handed us a menu. "Yeah, um... I'll take a glass of red wine please." Johnny said with a kind smile. "I'll have a coke please." I replied with a smile as well. "Alright, red wine and a coke coming right up." He said kindly before he left us alone. Johnny and I looked over the menu for a while, and I couldn't decide on what to have. I kinda wanted the spaghetti, but then another part of me wanted pizza. After a few minutes the waiter came back with our drinks, and we ended up ordering our food. I got the spaghetti, and Johnny got some kind of ravioli. "So, did you get all of your missed assignments finished?" Johnny asked after he took a sip of his wine. "Yeah, thank God!" I said, which made him chuckle slightly. He and I talked while we waited for our food to arrive. We actually made plans to go to the park tomorrow for a picnic, which I was excited for. After we ate we went to my house and just relaxed on the couch for a few minutes. "Hey, come here." He said softly. I moved closer to him, and he wrapped one of his arms around me. I snuggled into his side and breathed in his wonderful scent. "You know, when I accepted that art teaching job... I never thought that I'd meet someone like you. I never thought I'd get so attached to one of my students to where I actually wanted to spend a weekend over at their house." He said with a slightly nervous laugh. "Well, I never thought I'd have one of my teachers over at my house... like... ever. But you're different... a good different." I said and he smiled at me with a soft look in his beautiful brown eyes. "You're different too. Maybe that's why we get along so well." He said before he gently kissed my forehead. My stomach filled with butterflies and my heart melted. 'I love you Johnny.' I thought inside of my head as I snuggled closer to him. Before I knew it, I fell into a deep sleep. I woke up laying in my bed. As I stretched my arm bumped into something, which made me furrow my brows. I turned over on my side to find Johnny laying beside of me. He was shirtless, and I prayed to God he was wearing pants or at least underwear. "Good morning." He said with a slight smirk on his face as he wrapped his bare arms around me. "Morning." I replied with a slight laugh. "You're so beautiful, Raven." He whispered softly before he closed the distance between us. Our lips were centimeters apart from touching, when I suddenly started to drift back from the land of dreams. 'Shit. It was all a damn dream!' I thought inside of my head. I opened my eyes and found myself laying on top of Johnny. My cheeks flushed and my heart skipped a beat. We were laying on the couch, and I was positioned between his legs with my head resting on his chest. His arms were loosely wrapped around my waist, which gave me butterflies a little bit. I noticed that we were covered with a blanket and figured he grabbed it before either one of us fell asleep. I laid my head back on his chest and listened to his beating heart and gentle breathing. 'Everything about him is so darn cute!!' I thought inside of my head. Suddenly he took in a sharp breath and yawned as he moved his arms from around me. I was disappointed that he moved his arms, but I figured he was rubbing his eyes. A few minutes passed before he returned his arms to their previous position, and he ended up kissing the top of my head. I looked up at him to find a soft look in his big brown eyes that made me melt. "Morning sweetheart." He said a raspy morning voice. "Morning." I replied with a small giggle. "You know... I would suggest breakfast, but I think we're both way too comfortable at the moment." He said with a gentle smile on his face. "I couldn't agree more." I replied with a smile as well. We laid there and cuddled; I think I could have stayed like that forever. Everything just feels so perfect when I'm with him, and I hoped that he felt the same way about me.
