Niall:

I held Kiersten's hand as we waited in line to get back into the country. "I can't wait to get home and spend some time in our bed." I whispered kissing the back of her neck.

She turned around and looked at me, wrapping her arms around my waist. "Can we pick up the animals before we go home?"

"Babeeeee, then we'll have to sit and talk to Harry and Samie forever. And then we are having dinner with our lawyers. Weren't not going to be able to, ya know, until after that."

She laughed and gave me a kiss, "You can wait. You waited for two and a half years I think you can wait until tonight."

I groaned throwing my head backwards, "But now that I know what it's like that's not fair!"

"Oh, stop being so dramatic. I want to see our babies before we have to meet with the lawyers." She whined and pulled a pouty face. I just stated at her not giving in. She brought out the puppy dog eyes and I groaned, knowing that I wouldn't be able to resist her puppy dog eyes.

"Please don't give me the puppy dog eyes, babe. Come on."

"Please, Ni-Pie. I want to see them. I've missed them and I know you have, too."

"Fine. But you owe me something special tonight." I said wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Oh yeah? What would you like?"

"You, in some heels, and a cute little lacy number. A beer in your hand for me and some brownies fresh out of the oven."

She rolled her eyes but lightly kissed my neck, "I think I can do that for you."

We finally made it through customs and to the baggage claim. I grabbed both of our bags and we held hands as we made our way out to the Range Rover. We drove to Harry and Samie's new flat and parked the car.

"I hope their home." Kiersten said as we rang the doorbell. I heard Nando barking and Kiersten started bouncing, excitedly.

The door swung open, "Oh my God!" Samie yelled tackling Kiersten in a hug. "You're so tan! What are you doing here?! You're not supposed to be back for three days!"

"We've got news, but we can't say what it is until we meet with our lawyers. But uh, can we come in?"

"Oh! Of course! Sorry!" Samie said stepping to the side, "Harold! Get your butt down here!"

"What is it, babe?" Harry asked coming into the foyer with Frank in his arms. "What they heck are you doing here?"

"We're picking up our babies!" Kiersten said standing up with Nando in her arms.

"Yeah, come here Frank." I said taking Frank from him.

"Yeah, well good luck finding your cats. They don't really like it here. So they've been hiding." Harry said wrapping an arm around Samie's waist. "So really, why are you guys back early?"

"We can't say too much at the moment, because we aren't sure of all of the details, but we're inviting everyone over for dinner tomorrow night, and we'll tell everyone then." Kiersten said, "But we really have to get going because we've got a lot of unpacking to do and we have a meeting to go to later on."

"Well, come on we'll help you get all their stuff packed up." Samie said leading us farther into the flat. We got Frank and Nando into their carriers and then it was a hunt to find the cats.

I was in the guest room and I crawled onto the floor to look under the bed. "Harriet!" I said spotting her in the back corner, "Come on, time to go home." I said grabbing her and holding her to my chest.

I walked back out to where the carriers were and saw Harry had Meatloaf and Samie had Pepito. Kiersten walked into the room a few minutes later with Eugene and we put them in their carriers and then Harry and Samie helped us bring all the carriers out to the car.

We said goodbye to Harry and Samie and told them that we'd text them with details of the dinner tomorrow.

"Niall, we're about to walk into our house as a married couple!" She said bouncing in her seat excitedly as we pulled up to the gate in front of our house.

"You're so cute, babe." I said giving her a kiss before I punched in the code for the gate. We pulled into the driveway and I saw a familiar Mercedes sitting in the driveway. "Liam's here!" I yelled turning off the car and jumping out and running into the house. "Liam!" I yelled running around.

I found him in the kitchen and gave him a huge hug, "Niall what are you doing here?" He asked with a laugh.

"We had to come back early, we're going to tell everyone about it tomorrow, at dinner. Here, bring your family."

"Niall James Horan come help me with these bags!" I heard Kiersten yell.

Liam chuckled and patted my back, "Come on, I'll help too."

We got all of our bags inside and then Liam left because he was taking Danielle and Elise to the park for a picnic.

We unpacked all of our wedding presents that Liam had put in the living room for us, and tried to find places for them before we had to meet with the lawyers. "Babe, seriously why did we get this much stuff?" I asked as I put the third frying pan away.

"Oh, stop. We need most of this stuff, anyway." She said with an eye roll as she placed the bright green mixer on the counter.

I stood behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, "As much as I loved being in Spain with you, I'm glad to be home." I said moving her hair to the side and kissing the back of her neck softly.

"Niall, we don't have time for you to be seducing me." She said curtly, prying my hands away from her and putting more stuff away. Her movement was different though. It was tense and sharp. Something was bothering her.

"Baby." I said grabbing her wrist lightly to make her stop moving, but she didn't, she just worked with one hand. I grabbed the other wrist and held them both with one hand. I used the other hand to turn her head so she would look at me, "Are you mad at me?" I asked quietly. I hated it when she was mad at me.

She shook her head and I could see the tears gathering in her eyes. "I'm just scared." She said her voice cracking a bit.

I dropped her hands and pulled her closer to me, "Scared of what, boo?"

She shrugged her shoulders, "I'm not even really sure. I just know that I'm scared of everything that's happening all of the sudden." She said her tears finally falling. Then her stomach rumbled. "Ugh. I've seriously just wanted to eat everything in sight lately and my moods have been changing like crazy." She let go of me and opened a cabinet grabbing out a box of cookies and walking over to where all of the unopened mail was.

I thought about everything she had just said and I was putting pieces together in my brain, "Babe...are you pregnant?"

Kiersten froze, not saying anything.

"Babe? If you are you can tell me, we're married. I'm not going to be mad." I said moving closer to her. She didn't say anything so I walked over to where she was, I was getting nervous now. I mean obviously I would be happy if she was, but I thought she was on the pill, and I wasn't sure if I was quite ready to be a father yet. "Kiersten?" I asked putting my hand on her arm, she turned and looked at me tears falling from her eyes.

"What did you say? I wasn't listening." She said.

"I asked if you were pregnant."

"What? No. I just got my period today." She said glancing back at the table.

"Oh." I said trying to hide the fact that I was that that we wouldn't be able to do anything after dinner. Then realization hit me that she had been crying. "What's going on, why are you crying?"

She handed me an envelope and I dumped the contents of it onto the counter. It was pictures, of Kiersten and I. There were about three from each day from the time we landed at the airport in Italy to the when we got back to Heathrow airport. Mixed in with the pictures was a note.

I started crumpling the pictures but Kiersten stopped me, "We have to bring those with tonight." She said taking them from me and sticking them back in the envelope.

I silently took her hand and lead her into the cozy library. I sat down on the couch and pulled her into my lap. "It's going to be okay." I whispered rubbing her back "We're going to be okay."

Kiersten buried her head in my neck and we forgot about all of the unpacking and putting stuff away and stayed just like that until it was time to meet with our lawyers.

We made it to the restaurant and we headed to the small private room where our meeting with our lawyers would be held.

We greeted them and ordered our food and then got down to business. "This came in the mail today." Kiersten said handing him the envelope. He added it to the box of evidence he brought with him that we would be reviewing later.

"So, we know that we didn't give you a lot of information over the phone since we wanted to go over it with you in person. Here's what's happened. Nicholas Jonas has stepped forward with a lot of details, involving Ms. Lovato's plans. He had no proof of her pregnancy or anything having to do with her pregnancy, but he did give us a lot of information regarding what has happened since the end January of 2014. Does that sound correct?"

"Uh yes, that's when Kiersten and I broke up and Demi contacted me." I said.

"Okay, well let's talk through this and make sure we are on the right page." We talked through item after item while we ate our food. "What witnesses should we be aware of? We'd like to get as much information from them as possible."

"Well there's Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Perrie Edwards, Danielle Payne, Samie Thaler, Eleanor Tomlinson, Paul Higgins, Simon Cowell, and Lou Teasdale. They know the most."

"Okay we'll bring them in and talk to them about what information they can give us. Anyone else?"

"Um Siva Kaneswaran and Max George from The Wanted. They might be able to help a bit too."

"Okay, no we're going to talk about the pregnancy part. I know that we didn't give you any details about it on the phone, but we're going to now." I held Kiersten's hand as we waited for him to talk. Whether or not Demi was actually pregnant would make a big impact in the trial. "Multiple doctors have stepped forward saying that they cannot lie and hurt the two of you any longer. Demi is not actually pregnant." Kiersten and I both let out a sigh of relief. "She paid multiple doctors to give her the documents and to help stage it. All of the doctors are also on this witness list. Something else you should know is Demi is in jail at the moment for attempted murder. She arrested yesterday and they want to hold the trial soon. That's we called you yesterday and asked you to come back early."

"Wait, so if Demi is in jail how did some take pictures of us today?" I asked.

"She still has people working for her. The men involved in the Amanpulo incident were arrested and are in custody. We have a list of the people working for her, there are two men that have yet to be taken into custody. According to Mr. Jonas Ms. Lovato had a very detailed plan as to how everything would go down. Obviously, changes were made as the two of you had various events that she had to plan in accordance with. But we believe that the two men who are still out there are following along to her plan, which is why we have are next suggestion. We are trying to catch them before they can continue it any further, but we want you to take safety precautions. Kiersten, the plan gets extremely violent within the next couple of days. Obviously you coming back here so early wasn't in the plan so we're hoping that they are going to wait a couple days before putting the next step into action. We recommend that you get out of town, preferably out of country until the trial. Niall, I know that you're going to want to go with her but it would really be the best if you stayed here. It would draw less attention if only one of you left. You can cover by saying that Kiersten isn't feeling well if you're asked where she is. I know you want to be with her, but it's in everyone's best interests if only she goes. Kiersten, once we catch the two men we will notify you and you'll be able to come back.

We nodded and I squeezed Kiersten's hand, reassuring her that everything would be okay. Even though I honestly wasn't sure myself.

"I would suggest somewhere that's not very obvious though. So Kiersten I wouldn't recommend going back home, or going to Ireland or just to visit a friend that everyone knows about. You need to keep this on the down low. Only the absolute most necessary people should know where you are."

We nodded and paid our bill and had our plates cleared away. Once that was done we asked the waitress not to come back so we could look through all of the evidence. We stored through all the pictures, the notes, the documents, everything that had to do with Demi and everything that had gone on in the past year and half.

When we finally finished I texted the boys and asked them to meet us at our house in an hour. We didn't have enough time to plan the dinner for everyone. We had to get Kiersten out of town that night if it was possible.

Someone had tipped off the paparazzi so they knew that we were in the restaurant. The lawyers decided it would be best to slip out the back so the paps would think it was just Kiersten and I having a dinner together.

We stepped outside and were immediately stormed by men with cameras. My hand gripped Kiersten's tightly as I tried to get to the car.

"What are you doing back from your honeymoon so early?"

"Trouble in paradise?"

"Kiersten is it true you're pregnant?"

"How was the honeymoon?"

The questions flew out of their mouths as quick as the cameras flashed. Spots appeared in my vision but I kept my focus on Kiersten's hand in mine and getting to the black Range Rover.

I helped Kiersten into her side of the car and quickly got in mine. I caught my breath and then started the engine.

"Are you okay?" I asked as we finally got on to the road to head back home.

Kiersten nodded, "I'm just scared. Where am I going to go, Ni? I don't want to be away from you."

"I don't want to be away from you either but if it means that you're safe then I'm willing to do it for a little while. I don't know where you're going to go. I was hoping the boys would have some ideas. We'll figure it out, baby, I promise. Everything is going to be okay."

We arrived home and I punched the number in to open up the gate. Once we were in I immediately shut it to make sure that no one could follow us in. Once we got inside I checked the entire house over to make sure that it was safe.

We changed into sweatpants and Kiersten obsessively gathered snacks and drinks to put downstairs in the game room. I knew she was just doing it to keep her mind off of things, so I just let her be.

Louis and Eleanor had been at Samie and Harry's flat so the four of them came together. Kiersten brought them downstairs while I waited for Liam and Zayn to arrive with their families.

When everyone had settled in to a comfortable spot Kiersten and I explained the situation to them.

"Okay, so where is Kiersten going to go?" Liam asked.

"We don't know. We were hoping that one of you would have an idea." I said holding Kiersten, who was sat on my lap closer to me.

No one said anything for a while, everyone looked deep in thought. Louis leaned over to Eleanor and whispered something in her ear. She nodded quickly. Louis cleared his throat. "Uhm...El and I have a second house. We wanted to keep it a secret, but we think that this is worth it."

"Where is it?" I asked, knowing Louis and Eleanor it could be anywhere.

"Uh maybe we shouldn't say it out loud...just in case." Louis said and Kiersten nodded standing up to get some paper.

She handed it to Louis and he quickly scribbled on the paper. It's a really modern but modest cabin on the outskirts of a village in the Alps. We all read it and I didn't think that it was a bad idea.

"What do you think, babe?"

She shrugged, "I've never been there before and since no one knows about it, no one would be expecting it. Just, how would I get there?"

"Well someone can take you to the airport tonight, and what if someone just goes with you?" Zayn asked.

"No, I can't bring anyone with me. I don't want to risk any more people's lives. When I get there I'll just take a cab there. I'll put on some sort of disguise. No one will know who I am." She said and everyone nodded.

"Zayn and Perrie, why don't you take Samie and Eleanor back to yours. Harry and I will take Kiersten to the airport. There's keys and such that I need to get from mine, before we go." Louis said. "Liam and Danielle, why don't you leave now. Then the four of you go. Harry pull your Range Rover into the garage, and she can get into the car in there and just lay down in the back seat. That way if there's anyone watching the outside of the gate they won't see her. Kiersten you should go up and get packed. Warm comfy clothes. It's a lot colder up in the mountains then it is here." Louis said taking charge.

Kiersten nodded and stood up, she gave everyone that was leaving a hug and her and I went upstairs. We weren't sure how long she was going to be there so we got out her biggest suitcase and packed it full of anything she would need. We finished up and Kiersten found a curly brown wig that she used for Halloween one year. She pulled her blonde hair up and stuck the wig on top. "Do you like me as a brunette, Ni? Should I dye my hair?" She asked trying to keep the situation light.

"No." I said pulling her into me and holding her close. I didn't want to let her go. I took a deep breath breathing in her scent.
