Niall:

"Can you get me a piece out of here, babe?" I asked pulling myself away from Kiersten and trying to steady my hand enough to give her the pizza box.

I was shaking like a leaf as I got down on one knee. I opened up the ring box and turned to towards her and waited.

"Ni, why does this say fi-" She stopped when she saw me and I watched her breathing speed up. She gasped and went to throw the pizza box over the side of the basket. No, no, no I was gonna eat that! I thought jumping up and grabbing it quickly as I wrapped one arm around her waist.

She crashed our lips together and I pulled away. I was pretty sure what her answer was based on her reaction but I just wanted check. "So that's a yes?" I asked sending her a cheeky grin followed by a soft chuckle.

"Of course it's a yes you bloody idiot." She said kissing me again.

I pulled away and turned her towards the corner of the basket. "Say hi to Ellen, babe." I said pointing to where there was a small microscopic camera was.

"Uh what?" She asked looking at me.

"I planned this whole thing out, there's a small camera on that rope over there that's sending a live feed back to Ellen. Everyone is watching this right now."

"Niall!" She said hitting my chest. "Why didn't you tell me!?"

"Because you never would have gotten in the basket! And why would we film a boring hot air balloon ride? Now say hi to Ellen!" I said grabbing a piece of the pizza and taking a bite out of it.

We finished our ride and headed back to the red couch for a couple interview with Ellen.

"So now that you're engaged are you two just going to take a break and hang out with each other?" Ellen asked and I wrapped an arm around Kiersten.

"Yeah. As a group One Direction is taking a break from touring and stuff. We'll be in the studio working on the next album, but I'll be home."

"And I'm not starting any new projects. I really need a break from everything and I have a lot of planning to do!"

"So when are you think you'll have the big day?"

"As soon as possible. I can't wait to make her my wife." I said kissing her cheek as the audience let out a big 'aww'.

Kiersten smiled up at me and we talked to Ellen for a bit before the show ended.

"We're going out to a fancy dinner tonight." I said kissing Kiersten's cheek as I sat next to her on the bed.

"Your fans are going crazy right now." She said looking up from the Macbook that was sitting in her lap.

"Good crazy or bad crazy?" I said starting to rub her shoulders.

"Mostly good. They're happy for us."

"They should be."

"Justin says congratulations." She said as she wiggled under my fingers.

"Yeah? That was nice of him." I said planting a soft kiss on the back of her neck as I worked out the knots in her tense shoulders. "Can I tell you something?"

"Course." She said shutting the computer and giving me her full attention.

"I was going to propose on New Year's but Sean interrupted me before I could. I had everything ready."

"I'm glad he did. These six weeks would have been even worse." She said resting her back against my chest.

I kissed her temple and we got up to go to dinner. She changed into a pretty black dress (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_52/set?id=60714511) and man did she look beautiful.

I pulled out her chair and cameras flashed around us. I sat down in my chair and patted my stomach. "Mmm. I'm hungry."

"You're always hungry, crazy." Kiersten said kissing my jaw lightly.

"I am crazy." I whispered in her ear. "About you."

"Wow Niall. Got any other cheesy things you'd like to say? Come on get them out."

"If you were a McDonalds hamburger you'd be a McGorgeous." I said kissing her neck, "You better direct that beauty somewhere else. You'll set this carpet on fire." "Do you have a map? I'm getting lost in your eyes." "I was wondering if you had an extra heart mine seems to have been stolen." "If you were a booger I'd pick you first." "My love for you is like diarrhea. I just can't hold it in." "Is your name Gillette? Cause you're the best a man can get." "Your eyes are blue like the ocean. And baby I'm lost at sea." "Let's make like a fabric softner and 'Snuggle." After each ridiculous saying I would kissing Kiersten's neck and by the end of it we were both laughing so hard that a waiter came over and told us to leave.

"Well this will be a nice story for the media tomorrow." I said as we slid into a booth at a small diner.

"Yeah do you think the headline will be 'Newly Engaged One Direction Member Niall Horan gets kicked out of upscale L.A. restaurant with fiancé Kiersten Clifford' or 'Newly Engaged Actress Kiersten Clifford gets kicked out of upscale L.A. restaurant with fiancé Niall Horan'?"

"I bet you'll be first. Your movie just came out." I said trying to decide on what to order.

"Nah it'll be you." She said closing her menu.

We ordered our food and played footsie under the table, with our good legs anyway. I laced my fingers with Kiersten and kissed her knuckles. "I'm so glad we're together again, babe."

"Eh. I didn't really miss you that much." She said shrugging.

"Liar." I said leaning forward to give her a kiss.

The waitress brought us our food and Kiersten wiggled in her seat with happiness. She had ordered chicken strips, chips, and a chocolate shake. I ordered a burger and chips and a strawberry shake.

"So its been almost a year since we got back together in like a week and a half." She said before taking a bite of a chicken strip.

"Yeah and next month two years since we first started dating."

"Which one are we going to celebrate?" She asked taking a drink of her shake.

"Both." I said trying to steal a chip from her.

I laughed as she slapped my hand away. "Really, both?" She asked looking up at me.

"Yeah. It's a good excuse to go out and celebrate or stay home and celebrate." I said with a wink.

Kiersten rolled her eyes and we ate our dinner flirting and laughing.

"Sorry I ruined our fancy dinner." I said intertwining our fingers across the table.

"Its okay. I like this better anyway." She said throwing a chip at me.

"Hey now, don't want to get kicked out of two restaurants in one night." I said eating the chip.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah whatever. Are you almost done?"

"Yeah. What do you want to do now?"

"It's a surprise." she said grinning at me.

"What did you do?"

"I didn't do anything." She said emphasizing the 'I'.

"Okay, what did Carmen and Bob do?"

"I'm not telling." she said standing up and throwing some cash on the table.

"Um excuse you. Why are you paying?"

"Do you have any American cash?" She asked pointing to the cash or check only sign.

"No."

"Exactly. Now shut up. Let's go."

I sighed and we left. We climbed into a cab and Kiersten handed the driver a slip of paper. "Turn." She said holding up a silk scarf.

"Why?"

"So I can blindfold you. You suck at getting surprises."

"I don't like being surprised."

"Will you just turn around?!"

I laughed at her frustration but turned around. Everything went dark and the cab started moving. I felt around for Kiersten's hand and eventually the cab stopped moving.

Someone who wasn't Kiersten helped me out of the cab and then sat me down on what I assumed was a bench. My shoes and socks were then taken off by the mystery person. "Babe my shoes coming off is part of the surprise, right?"

I heard Kiersten laugh, "Yes, Ni. No one is going to steal your Supras."

I was helped up and then pulled by my arm. I suddenly felt sand between my toes and I smiled. We were at the beach. We walked for a long time before anyone spoke. "Is your knee okay, booboo?" Kiersten asked behind me.

"Yeah its fine. How are you handling crutches on the sand?"

"I'm not."

"Ahh, the mysterious figure that carries you everywhere?"

"Of course!" Kiersten said and I heard Bob chuckle. "Sit." Kiersten said and I carefully sat down. I expected to feel sand but instead I felt was a blanket.

A couple minutes later the blindfold was taken off and I found myself and Kiersten sitting on a bunch of pillows and blankets at what seemed to be a private beach.

"This beach is private. And Bob is literally twenty seconds away if we need him." Kiersten said scooting closer to me.

"This is amazing." I whispered as she kissed my jaw lightly.

"I'm glad you like it." She said between kisses, "We're spending the night here. I gave our hotel room to a homeless woman and her children."

I just hummed and pressed a kiss to her forehead. We laid down and cuddled and looked at the stars before we finally fell asleep.

The next morning Bob and Carmen came and got us to go to the airport.

We finally arrived home and I flopped down on the couch. Kiersten came over and laid down on top of me so our chests were pressed together. I wrapped my arms around her and we slept for a couple hours.

My phone ringing woke me up. I pulled it out of my pocket and answered it since Liam was calling. "Hello?"

"Hey, Nialler!"

"Hey Li. What's up?"

"Dani and I wanted to know if you and Kiersten wanted to come over for dinner. Everyone is going to be here."

"Of course we do. We'll be over soon."

"Alright. See you soon."

"Yep. Bye." I said hanging up the phone. "It's time to wake up, love."

"Mmmmm noooo." She groaned snuggling into my chest more.

"Yes, we're going to see everyone. Come on don't you wanna see Tootie?"

"Ugh fine. But I need to shower first." She said kissing me quickly and then heading towards the elevator.

I went up a couple minutes later and changed out of my sweatpants. I stretched out on the bed to watch some telly while Kiersten was getting ready. She walked out a few minutes later and I smirked at her one-legged leggings. "Shut up, Niall." She said chucking a throw pillow at my head.

I shrugged, "Yeah its cute. Are you ready to go?"

She nodded and we made our way down to the car.

The gate opened and we drove down the long driveway to Liam and Danielle's new house which was only about ten minutes from ours.

I helped Kiersten out of the car and we made our way up to the door. Before we could even knock the door swung open and Tootie tottled out.

Kiersten gasped and looked at me, "She can walk now?!"

I smiled and nodded and picked Tootie up. She planted a sloppy kiss on my cheek before waving at Kiersten.

"Hi, pretty girl." Kiersten cooed kissing her nose.

Xara giggled as I yelled, "Escaped baby!" And walked into the house.

Zayn walked over and gave Kiersten a hug before taking Xara from arms, "Come here crazy girl."

"Hey guys." Liam said coming into the foyer, we're all in here, he said leading us into a large living room and plopped down in a spot between Louis and Harry who both squeezed her in a bear hug.

"Okay foods ready." Danielle said coming into the room. I got up and ran as fast as I could in my stupid knee brace and got to the dining room. There was a table with eight chairs and two high chairs. I was confused, why were there two high chairs?

Kiersten and Eleanor both squealed when they walked into the room and gave Danielle a big hug. Louis, Harry, Zayn, and I all shared a confused look.

Liam rolled his eyes, "I'm going to be a dad you idiots."

We all jumped on him congratulating him and cheering before giving Danielle a quick hug and welcoming baby Payne into the family.

"I'm going to be an uncle!" Zayn cheered. I smiled thinking about how much our little family had changed in the last two years.

We ate the delicious meal before hanging out and watching movies and playing board games.

Xara was getting tired so Zayn said goodbye and brought her home.

Kiersten was sitting on the couch talking to Harry and I could tell she was about ready to fall asleep. "Come on babe, let's go home." I said taking her hand.

We said our goodbyes to everyone and made our way back to the car. We got back home and went to bed in our underwear not even bothering to put pajamas.

A few days later we headed to the doctor's office to get Kiersten cast taken off. They took the bright green thing off and I helped Kiersten down and she was a bit wobbly at first since she hadn't walked normally in six and a half months. She finally was starting to get the hang of it but the doctor said she'd still be unstable for a while and will probably fall quite a bit. I laughed, "Oh good she's back to normal." Kiersten hit me in the arm which just made me laugh harder.

We went home and the first thing Kiersten did was walk up the stairs. "This is so nice!" She said once we finally got to the third floor.

"No its not! It sucks!" I said out of breath. I flopped down on the floor at the top of the stairs, trying to regain my breath.

Kiersten laughed and laid down next to me.

After a couple minutes of us lying there she jumped up and threw open the bedroom door, "Come on! I can't wait to put on pants!" She said disappearing into the room.

"Noooooooooooo!" I yelled, "No pants!"

I heard Kiersten laugh from inside the room and she appeared a few seconds later in a pair of jeans.

"Turn, let me see." I said and she spun around. "Your ass looks nice in those." I said and she shot me a look. "What? I'm your fiancé! I'm allowed to say those things, because we're going to be married soon! And you know what that means!" I said winking at her.

Kiersten curled up next to me again and rested her head on my shoulder. "Is that the only reason you want to marry me? So we can have sex?"

"No of course not! Do you want me to name all the reasons I want to marry you?" I asked looking at her, but before she said anything I started, "Because I want to have the same last name as you. Because I can't wait to have little baby Horans running around, because you're the love of my life, because I can't see myself with anyone else, because we're like two puzzle pieces who fit together perfectly, because-"

"Okay, okay I get it." She said interrupting me. She leaned up and kissed me softly.

"Besides," I mumbled into the crook of her neck, "You and I will never have sex. We will always make love."

"I love you." She whispered.

"I love you more."

"No, I love you more."

And then we proceeded to fight for five minutes about who loved who more. I'm pretty sure I won.

"Come on, let's go watch movies." I said standing up.

"Okay you go get snacks. I'll change and meet you down stairs." She said pecking my lips.

I nodded and headed off to the kitchen.

I stretched out on a section of the couch in the theatre room and waited for Kiersten. She walked in and I laughed. She had on short shorts and a pair of fuzzy giraffe socks.

She flopped down on another section of the couch so we weren't even near each other.

Ten minutes later without saying a word I stood up, walked over to her and laid down on top of her. No words were said we just got comfortable and eventually fell asleep like that.

I woke up the next morning next to Kiersten and smiled at her. "Let's do something today." I said pulling her closer to me.

"Like what?" She asked sleepily.

"Let's go to Nando's!" I said and the puppy at our feet jumped on top of me at the mention of his name.

"Nah, how about we take this Nando for a walk." She said scratching the puppy's head. "Frank can come too." She said and Frank looked up at her from his spot by Kiersten's knees.

"It's winter." I whined and Kiersten sighed. I thought about it for a minute, "Let's go cake tasting!" Kiersten gave me a funny look. "What? Everyone knows we're getting married let's just go test out cake. We don't have to decide on one."

Kiersten stared at me for a minute before shrugging, "I could go for some cake."

"This one is dark chocolate with a raspberry center." The woman said and Kiersten and I both took a bite.

I shrugged, it wasn't that impressive. We had tasted every cake the store offered. We stood up and got ready to leave, "Are there any you'd like to put in an order for?" The woman asked.

"No, we haven't picked out a date." I said shrugging at her. "But we'll definitely consider that vanilla one when do get married." I said shaking her hand.

The lady look stunned and Kiersten and I giggled our whole way out of the cake shop.

We got home and cuddled up by the fireplace talking about the wedding and how excited we were.

My phone buzzed on the night table and I groaned untangling myself from Kiersten and searching for it. "Hello?"

"Be at the studio in an hour." Paul said on the other line.

"Pauuuul. There's something I have to do today!"

"Like what?"
