suan sat on his bed smiling at cal getting ready. "so what are you going to wear??" calum bit his lip and searched through his closet. he wondered what luke's mom wanted to talk to him about, seems like yesterday when she made him cry. he showed suan was he was going to wear and he ran into the bathroom to take a shower. "it's 8 something, calum!"

calum rushed out with his cheeks flushed red and a damp towel hanging in his hand. he sat on his bed and pulled on his brown dress shoes. a knock came upon the door and he fixed his hair in the mirror and opened it giving luke a toothy grin. "lukey!" he hugged his waist tightly causing luke to chuckle and wrap his arms around cal's neck.

he stuffed his nose in cal's curly moisture-laden hair and let out a deep husky chuckle, pulling him closer into his chest. he smiled breathing in the scent of calum's hair. "your hair smells really good." he mumbled into the older boy's head.

calum moved from his chest and smiled at luke walking out the door to the elevator. suan blinked and looked around, "did i..did i really see that?"

the restaurant had small chatter and liz simply stared at calum twitching her eyebrow. calum's eyebrows were furrowed and he tilted his head. "did you just invite me here to stare at me or??" calum sassed drinking from his straw.

liz placed her hands on top of the counter and shook her head. "look, i want to apo-apol-" she groaned and looked toward her son who was examining the menu. "i want to apo-apologize."

"it's too late to pologizeeee it's too laaaate." a random waiter sang while walking back to the kitchen.

calum ate some of the bread and smiled. "i'm glad you put the effort into apologizing."

"please, can you guys take it slow, i'm not fully used to seeing you and lucas as an official pair."

luke looked up from the menu and calum dropped his chewed pieces out his mouth a line of spit leaving his mouth. "m-mom! we're not together! we're just friends."

liz rolled her eyes and drank her sweet tea while calling the pretty waitress over. luke eyed her name tag...lulu. his eyes went wide and looked at his mom. "lulu! i didn't know you worked here, what a pleasant surprise to catch you in here. luke was just telling me how him and calum were just friends."

"that doesn't concern me, he obviously doesn't want me anymore. and i'm f-fine with it. i don't c-care anymore. 's not like i cry myself wondering when he'll come back to me." lulu pulled at the bottom of her shirt so she could flash some of her breasts.

"can you just take our order please?" calum snapped glaring at lulu. "i would like the chicken alfredo with extra creamy sauce." she nodded and looked towards liz taking her order.

"i saved the best for last..." she blushed looking into luke's deep crystal eyes. she bit her lip and looked down at his.

he softly chuckled and gave her his order watching her leave. he looked at calum who was ripping up his napkin. "are you alright?" luke asked calum who nodded.

"yeah, just tired a little." calum huffed and looked at him. "no..no i'm not okay. i'm not okay because you left me for her, you stopped kissing me for her, you stopped what we did for her, and now...you can see her anytime you want . and you'll leave me . and i don't know if i can fucking deal."

luke sighed and licked his lips pulling him outside. calum leaned against the restaurant and luke stepped in front of him. "hey, hey, hey, hey, hey." he rubbed his thumbs across his cheeks. "i will never leave you."

"that's what you said last time." calum pouted sniffling.

"i will never leave you." luke's thumbs wipe away stray tears. "i will never leave you, calum..because.."

cal looked into his eyes while gulping a lump down his throat.

"i'll never leave you because i love you too much." luke moved his hands away; stepping away to lean against a pole. "i don't know why you don't understand why i broke it off with her...i-i loved you, it's not exactly okay to break up with her for that but i did. while i was kissing you i just..i felt bad. the kisses never felt like normal kisses i'd give to any of my girlfriends so it felt wrong."

calum bit his lip and stood in front of his best friend. "you loved me in what way?"

luke shook his head, "it's not important right now...i just felt it was wrong, and that i enjoyed our kisses more than i enjoyed kissing lulu..."

"how do i know that you won't leave me ag-"

"calum! dammit! i told you i would not be able to leave you again! you mean way too much to lose again, and i lost my shit without you. i care about you more than anyone else in this fucked up world. so stop getting jealous over michael and lulu because they don't even come close to a quarter of how...beautiful, and funny and cuddly and amazing you are..."

calum smiled widely and looked at the ground blushing. "awhh, haha."

"you understand? i'm not letting you go back in until you say you understand."

"i understand!" calum hugged him tightly.
