Waking up slowly I sit up and notice that daddy is not in the bedroom or bathroom. I smell food cooking and I assume that's where he is. I still feel little, but I did sleep really good. I make my way to the bathroom and complete my morning routine. I don't change clothes yet since I want to talk to daddy first. Making my way to the kitchen in the camper I see my handsome daddy dressed in jeans and a long sleeve t shirt. He looks good.

Gavin: Morning daddy. What are you making?

Anders: Good morning little one, I am making waffles. Are u hungry?

I nod my head and make my way to the table to wait until it's ready. I check my phone and notice the signal is bad. Oh well, good thing I don't need to talk to anyone. The food is ready after a few minutes and daddy joins me at the table. This table is annoying but I just sit up on my knees. That helps me reach the table better. Daddy looks at me like I'm weird and I just shrug my shoulders.

Gavin: What? I'm fine.

Anders: Why don't you come sit with me baby?

Gavin: I'm okay, I can do it myself. I'm a big boy!

He rolls his eyes at me but doesn't move to pick me up. Am I actually going to win this time? Wow, that's a first. I better take what I can get. Daddy cut up my waffle added some syrup and gave me a bottle of milk to drink. Normally I don't like bottles, but I am thirsty so I decide to drink it anyways.

Anders: Guess where we are going today baby.

Gavin: Where?

Anders: THE ZOO!!!! Today is a day for littles and daddy's. So I get to dress you up like my little man and we are going to have so much fun.

Gavin: Are you sure it's okay to be little there?

Anders: Of course baby, I already bought tickets and we have a tour guide for different parts of the zoo if we want. We will have fun!

Gavin: Otay daddy, I trust you.

Once we finish eating I follow daddy and he goes to pick out my clothes for today. He decides on some long animal overalls and a long sleeve shirt with tennis shoes. He grabs a heavier jacket for me as well. Once we are both ready and my hair is fixed I watch tv while daddy gets our stuff ready. He pulls out the stroller and I can't help but cringe. I hope he doesn't expect me to ride in that thing the whole time. I would rather be carried.

I continue to watch him pack a backpack for us. He puts in a change of clothes, diaper stuff, (yes he made me wear one today), some snacks, pacis, (although one is clipped to my overalls), sippy cup, and a thick blanket. He grabs a hoodie for himself and throws it on over his t shirt. Thank goodness this camper is huge, or he would have banged his arm on the ceiling. I start laughing and he looks at me and smiles.

Anders: What's so funny little boy?

Gavin: Nothing, just thought of something funny while you were putting on your hoodie.

Anders: You aren't gonna tell me?

Gavin: Nope!

Anders: Fine then!

I watch him closely as he zips up the backpack and comes over to me. He grabs me and starts tickling me all over. This makes me laugh harder and try to get away from him. Which, by the way, doesn't work! Being tickled is so annoying! He finally stops so I can catch my breath.

Gavin: How far is the zoo?

Anders: Not far! We can walk! It will take us about 30 minutes. We need to get going. Are you ready?

Gavin: Yea I ready.

We head outside and start walking to the zoo. Daddy carries the backpack and stroller on his back. The stroller has a bag with it with a strap. It's pretty big and made higher up so daddy doesn't break his back to push it.

I'm hoping I don't have to sit in that thing anytime soon. We make it to the zoo and daddy gives them our tickets. He tells them that we don't need a guide anymore and we head into the zoo. Daddy is looking at a map of the place and I just start walking toward the first exhibit I see. The map shows it goes in circle so I vote we just go in order. Daddy must notice I have walked away because he runs over and grabs my hand.

Anders: Baby, you can't just walk away without telling me. I know you are excited, but I don't want someone to take you away from me.

Gavin: Sorry daddy, I just wanna go see the animals. The map shows it goes in a circle so why can't we just go in order?

Anders: We can baby, and we have all day so no need to rush. Can you hold daddy's hand or do you want me to push you in the stroller?

Gavin: No stroller, I am a big boy so I can walk.

Anders: Okay baby, if you get tired let me know.

We make our way to all the exhibits and eventually I start to get tired. We have about one fourth of the zoo left to see.

Gavin: (Rubbing my eyes)Daddy I tried and hungry

Anders: Okay love, let daddy set up the stroller for you and get you some food.

Once the stroller is set up he straps me in and we make our way to the food stand. He hands me my blanket and I snuggle up since it is still cold and getting colder the later we get into the day. We get some pizza for lunch and use the restrooms before we finish going through the exhibits at the zoo. By the time we finish I am ready for a nap.

Gavin: Daddy what time is it?

Anders: It's getting close to 4pm buddy. Are u ready to leave?

Gavin: Yes, but can I get a panda stuffy before we leave? Pretty please daddy.

Anders: Of course baby, thank you for using your manners.

We head into the gift shop and daddy lets me pick out a panda stuffed animal and he picks out me a hoodie with the zoo logo on it and one for himself. They also have a section of little stuff so he grabs me a giraffe paci, a panda sippy cup, and a cute zoo print onesie. He also buys himself a zoo theme yeti cup. Since we didn't take a lot of pictures he buys a zoo photo album that has pictures of all the animals we saw today.

Once we are done we check out and head back to the camper. It has been a fun day, but I need a nap. I drift off to sleep feeling safe in the stroller knowing that my daddy is pushing me.

Once we make it back to the campsite, thirty minutes later, I notice that Gavin is passed out. He must have wanted his paci since the one that was attached to his outfit is in his mouth. I check the time and see it's almost 5pm. I put everything away and decide to let him sleep more. I carefully lift him and lay him on our bed so he can nap longer. I will change him later.

I decide to make some hotdogs for dinner and we have chips that I brought from home. Since I don't feel like grilling or making a campfire I chose to boil the hotdogs on the stove. Once everything is ready I plate it and go wake Gavin up. I carry my sleepy little boy to the table and pull down the high chair so he can be strapped in since he is still sleepy. I don't need him falling over. I fix us both some water to drink and join him at the table.

Gavin: Tank you daddy. I didn't know we had a high chair in here.

Anders: You are welcome little one, and yes we do. It's perfect for times like these when you are not able to sit well alone. It is just to help you not fall.

He doesn't comment back and we eat in silence. I think he may still be tired from our busy day. Once dinner is done and cleaned up, I take Gavin to get cleaned up and ready for bed. He lets me wash him and change him into a diaper and some pjs. I kiss his head and tuck him into the bed. It is already close to 7pm.

Anders: Daddy will be in soon, I'm going to clean up and get ready for bed.

Gavin: Okay daddy, I love you. Night night.

I clean the kitchen and then go take a shower. I feel gross from being at the zoo all day. Once I'm ready I text my parents to let them know we made it safe and are having a great time. My mother worries all the time. It's only natural since I will take over my fathers place very soon and she doesn't want anything to happen to me or my mate. After I place mine and Gavins phone on the charger I get into bed and read for about two hours. I can't sleep this early. Once I make it to a good stopping place I notice it's already past 9pm and decide to call it a night. After turning the lights out I fall into a peaceful sleep.
