Yeonjun quickly went out of the room as soon as their professor walk out after saying goodbye to the class and hearing the bell rang. as he step his feet outside the door, his eyes were drifted to his own figure that's standing beside the door and leaning his back against the wall.

feeling the older's presence, Soobin turn his head on the lad who's standing next to him and looking directly at him. as their eyes met, Yeonjun's heart started to beat faster. all of a sudden, he remember what happened between them earlier which made his cheeks heat up.

❝❞ Soobin was about to approach the older but he immediately walk away, not turning his back to the younger. he don't know why he keeps on ignoring him, maybe because it's his first time to feel like this, being nervous and flustered.

he can't confront Soobin right now and he don't know why.

while walking towards Beomgyu's room, he can see least of students walking out of the room which made him think that the younger already went out but he hopes he's still there. he need someone who can accompany him and he don't want to be with Soobin for now.

Yeonjun quickly approach the familiar guy who just came out of the room ❝❞ he called out his name, making the latter's attention turn to him. Huening Kai hummed as his response and removed his earphone from his ears.

❝❞ Yeonjun asked then took a peek inside the window. Huening Kai shook his head as a no which made the older's reaction became a little bit gloomy. ❝❞

Yeonjun raised his brow. ❝❞ he somehow felt like Beomgyu is betraying him as he still don't introduce that Taehyun to him and this Huening Kai already knew him. who knows, maybe they're now in a relationship or currently dating and Yeonjun don't know anything about it.

Huening Kai shrugged, ❝❞ he uttered then let out a chuckle as he remember Beomgyu's expression when Taehyun approached him. he quickly grab Beomgyu's wrist and his bag before dragging him outside. the caramel-haired boy was just smiling while being dragged.

Huening Kai diverted his eyes to Soobin as he notice he is standing not far away from Yeonjun. Soobin curve his lips into a small smile and lightly wave his hand, signaling Huening Kai to go away. luckily, the younger quickly understand so he return his eyes on Yeonjun and bid his goodbye before putting his earphones again.

the blue-haired guy follow his gaze on the younger while pouting his lips. he was about to walk away after Huening Kai disappeared from his sight but Soobin quickly grab his arm, making him flinch.

he furrowed his brows and removed his arms off from the younger's hand. his heart began to beat faster again and he can feel butterflies inside his stomach. ❝❞

❝❞ Soobin asked back, didn't answer the older's question.

Yeonjun gulp his own saliva and look somewhere but not on Soobin's eyes. ❝❞ he mentally facepalmed himself for stuttering.

seriously, he wish the younger will vanish in front of him because he can't take his heart beat anymore. it keeps on beating faster every second and Soobin's glances make it even beat crazier. his hands are a little bit shaky because of nervous.

Soobin let out a sigh. ❝❞ he uttered in his hoarse tone which made Yeonjun look at him immediately. he raised his brow, giving Soobin a confusion look. damn, he don't know if the younger can hear his heart beat because it's pounding heavier and crazier.

❝❞ Soobin uttered then slightly looked down.

❝❞ he looked directly to the older's eyes again and Yeonjun saw it was slightly trembling. ❝❞

Yeonjun didn't answered and just hum in response. come to think of it, Soobin is really acting differently when he's with him and he don't know why it's such a big deal for the younger to be ignored. in fact, he's the one who always ignore a lot of people.

Soobin apologize again which made the older shook his head, ❝❞ he spoke then curve his lips into a smile, making Soobin also drew a smile on his face.

Yeonjun shouldn't ignore him like that just because he kissed him, though. but he can't help himself mostly it was his first kiss. nevertheless, perhaps he can forget about it since it's his own body and it was his own lips that touched to his so he can consider it as not a real kiss, he thinks.

both of them walk out of their school after they made up. Soobin is now holding the older's hand again while walking on the sidewalk, making Yeonjun's heart never stop beating faster than its normal pace.

❝❞ the younger asked, breaking the silence between them. Yeonjun shook his head as a no, ❝❞

Soobin curved his lips into a grin ❝❞ he don't know why he's happy about that. maybe because his body won't be that exhausted, or maybe because he can be with Yeonjun for a week. probably he's just happy that Yeonjun won't be tired enough and can take a rest for a week.

and for a moment, silence filled their atmosphere as they both mesmerize the sky that was in shade of different colors. they can see in various hues, orange and reddish around the sun and blue all over the sky. clouds can barely be seen and birds flying over in groups.

they noticed how time flies for any moment by now, the sun will not be seen in the sky and it will be replace by the bright moon.

Soobin remove his gaze off the sky and drifted his eyes on the lad who's still watching the sun goes down. ❝❞

Yeonjun blinked thrice. he come back from his senses as he was thinking of something earlier. he shrugged then spoke, ❝❞

❝❞ he continued then looked at the younger making Soobin quickly avoided his eye contact. ❝❞ he agreed.

they both entered in a near convenience store they saw and bought what they need. they didn't took a while for Yeonjun already had an idea what he should buy since he already thought a dish before they came inside the store. Soobin actually want to pay all the groceries but Yeonjun didn't let him so they divided the fee and both of them payed it.

they also bought ice cream so that they can refresh themselves while walking towards Soobin' s house.

speaking of house, Yeonjun have no idea what is now happening to his dad. probably still drinking a lot of alcohol and their house will be so messy. his dad actually stopped contacting him and sending him texts maybe finally got over with him. he don't care about his son, though and besides he throw all the blames and hates to Yeonjun.

maybe he can just visit his dad another day.

❝❞ the both lads attention was caught by a familiar girl who is running towards to them.

they both kneeled down their one knee down to match the little girl's height and curve their lips into a smile. ❝❞ Soobin asked.

Eunji shook his head as a no and pointed the bank that is not far away from them. ❝❞ she smiled then giggle.

Yeonjun and Soobin both hummed and nodded then Yeonjun stood up. he was about to say something to the younger but Eunji lightly pull his pants. ❝❞

Yeonjun awkwardly chuckled and shook his head as a no which made the girl pouted. ❝❞ hearing those words made Eunji grin. he pulled out the ice cream from the plastic bag and gave it to her. she accepted it and spoke thank you.

Soobin giggled while watching the two then ruffle her hair while she's opening her ice cream. ❝❞ he uttered before standing up.

Eunji hummed in response. she was about run away but something came inside her mind. she called out the two lads again.
