smiled down proudly at the four boys panting on the ground. "Giving up so soon?" he sneered.
"We've been dancing for almost an hour straight," Beomgyu huffed, "How are you not tired?"
Yeonjun shrugged, "We're idols now. This is nothing." Beomgyu just groaned and laid back down on the floor.
"Are you guys almost ready for bed?" Kai wobbly stood up, letting out a long yawn, "It's getting late and we still have school tomorrow."
"Please?' Beomgyu begged, pressing his hands on his face.
"You wuss," Yeonjun scoffed, and scratched the back of his neck, "but sure we can sleep if you guys want to. Where are we all gonna go?"
"Umm," Kai took a minute to think things over, "Two people can sleep in my room, two people can sleep in my parents' room, and the last person will have to sleep down here on the couch since my sister is in her room."
"I call Kai's room," Taehyun raised a hand.
"Sure," the black haired boy smiled, "Who wants the other bed?"
"Can Yeonjun and I have it?" Soobin hesitantly asked, "I need to talk to him." Yeonjun looked at him confused, but didn't comment on his request.
"Yep," Kai nodded, "That means Beomgyu has to sleep on the couch by himself."
Beomgyu let out a really loud and exaggerated, "But I don't feel like moving."
"Fine," Kai frowned, "Suit yourself." He walked over to the couch and grabbed a throw pillow and a blanket, then threw them on top of the golden brown haired boy, who just grunted in response. "Goodnight everyone," Kai waved at everyone, dragging Taehyun back to his room.
"Goodnight," Yeonjun and Soobin replied, while Beomgyu stayed silent.
Soobin looked down at the boy on the ground, "Is he dead?"
"I think we killed him," Yeonjun lightly kicked the younger a few times before getting a pillow thrown at him. Yeonjun laughed but Soobin grabbed his wrist a bit harshly, completely changing his happy mood to a concerned.
"We should go," the leader stated.
Yeonjun furrowed his brows, "Soobin, what's wrong? Did I do something to upset you?"
"Don't act clueless," Soobin rolled his eyes.
Yeonjun could feel his heart tighten, "What are you talking about? I literally did nothing to-wait are you talking about the kiss? Are you really this upset over something as stupid as a kiss?"
"Come with me and I'll tell you," Soobin instructed, letting his gaze land on Beomgyu, who was probably knocked out by now.
"You're ridiculous," Yeonjun closed his eyes, but obliged. Just when he thought all of their problems were over, something else happened. Yes, he admitted it was his fault but the thought really hurt him. It felt like their small group was falling apart and it hasn't even been half a year yet.
"Sit," Soobin demanded, once they entered the room, closing the door. Yeonjun did as he was told without saying anything. He wished they could just sleep and forget about it. Soobin crawled into bed on the opposite side of him, "So."
"So what?" Yeonjun turned to face him.

"Why did you kiss me?" the younger asked sternly.
"Why not?" Yeonjun slightly smiled, fiddling with his fingers, "I did it because I could."
Soobin glared at him, "That's it, because you can? You didn't have any other motivation behind it?"
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't" Yeonjun pushed back his hair, "Either way it doesn't matter because you really are a jerk."
Soobin paused for a minute before rubbing his eyes, "Sorry, my temper sometimes I just can't-"
"I know," Yeonjun sighed, "I can't deny I had ulterior motives, but my main reason was just to give Beomgyu an example."
"Oh," is all Soobin said, before it got awkward.
"Is that all you wanted to say?" Yeonjun watched his feet as he swung them over the edge of the bed.
"I didn't think you were gay," Soobin laid down, "You're last relationship was with Sana, and last time I checked, she's a girl."
Yeonjun tilted his head in his direction, "I'm not."
"Then why did you kiss me?" Soobin pressed his tongue against his cheek.
"I'm bi," the older let his gaze drift to the ceiling, "I like both boys and girls. Why keep things the same all the time? It's fun to spice it up a bit sometimes."
"You make it sound weird," Soobin said.
"It's not weird. It just is what it is," Yeonjun laid down next to the younger, "Anyways, I'm sorry for making things awkward."
"You didn't," Soobin shook his head, "I wouldn't mind dating you, but I kind of like someone else at the moment."
"Beomgyu right?" Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, "I kind of figured that out on my own." Soobin's face started to redden and the older laughed.
"It's not funny," Soobin playfully pushed his chest, "but seriously, even if I didn't like him I kind of view you as a parental figure." Yeonjun wasn't sure why but hearing those words come out of Soobin's lips made him feel like crying. He didn't really like Soobin, at least he hoped not. The last thing he wanted was more drama. "Yeonjun?"
"Ah sorry," Yeonjun shook away his thoughts, trying to hold back his tears by laughing, "I get told that a lot actually."
"Really?" Soobin gasped, "I hope you don't take any offense by that."
"Of course not," Yeonjun smiled, "I'm happy I can make you guys feel happy and safe and whatever."
"I'm sure there's someone out there for you," Soobin caressed the shorter boy's cheek, "You're so amazing and beautiful and everything a person could ever ask for. You don't deserve someone as negative and hotheaded as me." Soobin pulled his hand back and Yeonjun winced as the cool air hit his face where there was warmth just a second ago.
"Thanks," Yeonjun gave him a small smile but accidently let a tear slip.
"Yeonjun?" Soobin reached out his hand for the other's hand, worry written all over his face, but the brown haired boy pulled back before Soobin could get to him.
"Goodnight Soobin," Yeonjun turned over, shutting off the lamp.

Taehyun checked his phone for what felt like the millionth time that night. It was almost six in the morning and he barely gotten any sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about Beomgyu. Kai talked to him for a while, helping him get his mind elsewhere, but eventually he got tired and Taehyun felt bad keeping him up so he pretended to fall asleep so the younger would go to sleep. It worked, but Taehyun quickly grew bored. He wanted to get up and do something but the other members were probably still asleep. Plus he was still really embarrassed about what happened.

The thought of leaving crossed his mind a few times but he'd feel bad if he just disappeared without telling anyone. But on the other hand he could just text everyone, plus we have to be back at school for noon so it's not like we really have that much time left anyways. Taehyun got up finally making up his mind, he was going to leave. Yeonjun drove him here so he couldn't go anywhere far like the bakery or school, but there are some nice thrift shops within walking distance. He could try to find some new clothes or trinkets. He quietly got off of the bed, grabbing his bag, and whispered "sorry" to his sleeping friend before leaving the room.
He tiptoed down the stairs, not forgetting about the sleeping boy downstairs. After reaching the bottom stair Taehyun looked over and didn't see Beomgyu on the floor anymore.
"Where did he go?" he muttered to himself. He walked into the living room a little ways and noticed a blob on the couch. He couldn't really see that well but there was no doubt in his mind that was him. Taehyun tightened his smile, he was glad the older stopped being so stubborn and got someplace more comfortable.
Next Taehyun made his way to the kitchen. He really needed coffee since he's running on zero sleep. He's been here plenty of times and always drank their coffee in the morning so he doubt Kai would mind. He stumbled around making his way there and eventually found the light switch.
"Gotcha," he flipped the lights on and saw a figure run and hide behind the fridge. Taehyun quickly grabbed the first thing he could reach, which in this case was a rolling pin, "Hey! Who's there?"
"Taehyun?" the other boy peeked from around where he was hiding.
"Beomgyu?" Taehyun lowered his 'weapon', "Why are you sitting in here with the lights off?"
"Well I always wake up this early and I didn't feel like just laying there," Beomgyu walked out of his hiding spot, "That's when I realized I've only ever been to Kai's parents' house like once before and I decided to explore," he pulled out his phone which had the flashlight on, "I didn't want to risk waking anyone up so I just used this."
"Oh," Taehyun placed the rolling pin back on the counter and placed a hand over his chest, "You nearly gave me a heart attack."
"Sorry," the shorter laughed, then pointed to his bag slung around his shoulder, "Why do you have that with you?"
"This?" Taehyun held onto one of his straps, "I'm gonna go out maybe get some shopping done and grab some breakfast."
"Why?" Beomgyu frowned.
"Couldn't sleep," Taehyun admitted setting up the coffee maker.
"Why do you have to leave though?" Beomgyu questioned.
Taehyun shrugged, grabbing a Styrofoam cup of the pantry, "I just feel like going out for a bit. I don't like being cooped up inside."
"Well would you like some company?" Beomgyu suggested, "It's always more fun with other people around."
Taehyun shook his head as he finished making his drink, "No thanks."
Beomgyu pouted, "Ouch. You don't wanna hang out with me?" Beomgyu couldn't be any more wrong. Taehyun wouldn't want anything else in the world more than to spend time with Beomgyu, but he couldn't let him know that. Taehyun had to distance himself and try to get rid of his crush as soon as possible.
"It's not that," Taehyun took a sip of his coffee, stalling as he tried to think of the right words, "I just have a lot of things I want to try to get done before school starts."
"Please don't tell me this is about what happened during truth or dare?" Beomgyu took a few steps closer towards the younger, "You're the one that said you hoped things wouldn't change between us so why are you already pushing me away?" Taehyun sighed, he was really hoping he could avoid this conversation, forever.
"Beomgyu I'm not pushing you away. I love spending time with you and things won't change between us, but please understand that you still hurt me. I just need a little space right now," Taehyun tried to get Beomgyu to leave him alone.
"Can we just forget about what I said during the game?" Beomgyu looked down at the ground, "I-I think I was wrong. I think I actually do think like you."
"Don't pity me Beomgyu," Taehyun walked in front of the boy, "You don't feel the same way as I do, I get it, and it sucks but you don't have to lie about your own feelings."
Beomgyu looked up at him, "I-I'm not lying." Taehyun noticed a bit of pink across Beomgyu's cheeks but figured he was just tired and embarrassed.
"You're a great friend," Taehyun gave the older a hug, "but seriously stop it. I'll get over it eventually." Taehyun turned to leave but felt the other grab onto his arm.
"What do I have to do to prove to you I'm not lying," Beomgyu made eye contact with Taehyun as he turned to face him.
Taehyun gulped, "Kiss me right now." Taehyun couldn't believe those words came out of his mouth. In the past he never would of said anything like that but he guessed with the fear of rejection being gone he didn't care anymore.
"What?" Beomgyu stared at him with wide eyes.
"I know you heard me," Taehyun bit his lip, "If what you say is true then kiss me right now." After a few seconds of silence the younger smiled and shook his head, "That's what I thought." Taehyun moved the golden brown haired boy's hand off of his arm, "I'll see you later."
Beomgyu watched Taehyun walked away. Once he was out of the house he headed back to the couch and curled up into a ball under the blanket, "I'm such a coward."
