《Abused (TodoBakuDeku story)》When It All Happened

My father has been yelling at my mother for an hour now. I hate this, my head pounding as he verbally abuses her. Stop, please stop! My head aches at the constant swear words and the raised voice of the man I call 'Father'. "I can't do this," I whisper as I silently cry at all of the yelling coming from downstairs. "You did this!" I screamed as my father burst into my room with an angry face. "You should go die you worthless piece of Quirkless shit!" Quirkless...that's all I'll ever be. I'll always be the worthless, weak human being. I can't even fight back with my father, how can I become a Hero and save innocent people?
My father pins me to the ground and raises his hand to my face. He slaps me across the left cheek. "Useless!" Another smack across the right cheek. "Piece of shit!" Punches to the face and chest came one after the other. Pain cascades down my body as I cry for him to stop. Nothing can help a loser like me. My mother runs up to him and tries to pull him off of me. "Hisashi! Stop, your hurting little Izuku!" He pushed my mom off of him and continued to abuse me. Kicks to the ribs and punches to the face. "How does it feel to know you'll always be a worthless excuse of a human, Izuku?" I cried louder as my mother yelled at him to stop in the background.
After many minutes, that felt like hours, my monster of a father stopped. He stormed out of my room with one final blow to the hip and left the house. Probably left to get drunk with his buddies, yet how much drunker can he get? I slowly moved from my position on the floor, pain flowed through me as I stood up. I pulled myself up to my desk and sat down in the hard-wooden-chair. My back ached as I started to do my homework for school. As I was answering the math equations tears streaked my face and fell onto the paper below me. "No," I wiped my face with the back of my hand. "I can't cry now. I have to finish my homework, so I can pass my classes and then..." I took a breath and picked up my pencil. "Then I can become a Hero." As I did my work my mother came into my room with a bag over her shoulder. "I'm going to my friends' house, Izuku. You stay here and do your homework." I nodded and gave her a hug goodbye. Long story short, she never came back. It's been three years since she left me with the bastard I call father. I miss her so much, my mother was the only one keeping me sane.

Now, I have school...great. I want to fucking die!
Izuku Midoriya, otherwise known as 'Deku', went to school beaten and upset. No emotion was relevant to his state of mind. Out of the corner of his eye, he catches a glimpse of his childhood friend, Bakugo, and his other classmate, Todoroki. The two future Heroes live together because of their parents. Their parents, Todoroki Rei and Bakugo Mitsuki, enrolled them into a special school. Not long after they became friends and moved into an apartment together. The greenette watches the two friends in admiration. He wishes he could have friends as close as them. 'Bakugo seems to be doing better after Kirishima's death...' Midoriya thought as he looks at the face of his childhood bully and only friend.
The small boy covers his face with his messy hair. No one can see the bruises if anyone did they'd ask too many questions. Finally, he makes it to his desk which only makes his morning worse. He looks down at the wooden surface and reads the scarred words written on the desk. Things like, 'Die', 'Go kill yourself, and lastly his "favorite" one of all, 'You don't belong here, you Quirkless weirdo.' Sighing, Izuku sat down and covered the words with his notebook for class. '1B must have put these here, serves me right.' He thought as the bell for class rang through the room. Students file into their seats and talk to their friends until the teacher walks in. Time for the class to start for the poor, abused boy Midoriya Izuku.

How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.
