《Wanna Join a Band? (TodoBakuDeku)》Chapter 12

The next morning, Uraraka and Shinso were awake before the three boys on the couch and were both just staring at them in shock.
"Did you know about this?" Uraraka asked in a slightly accusing tone. She was aware of the fact that Shinso was friends with Shoto and Katsuki and was just wondering if he failed to mention that her best friend was getting all cozy with the neighbors.
Shinso shook his head, his face alone was enough for her to realize he was being truthful. "Not a clue." He said.
"Well... do we wake them up or?..." Uraraka asked, seeing as it was already getting close to eleven in the afternoon. She didn't know what the other two boys had going on in their lives, but Izuku had a one o'clock class that he would kill her if he missed.
Shinso once again shook his head. "Let them sleep a little longer. If they aren't up by twelve, then we wake them up. It'll give Mido plenty of time to get to his class." He said, knowing that was what Uraraka was the most concerned about.
Nearly half an hour past before Katsuki woke up, being the first of the three to stir. He didn't move or attempt to wake the other two boys up.
The next to wake was Shoto, which didn't surprise the blond at all. He was more startled by the fact he woke up before the dual haired boy.
"Jesus, what time is it?" Shoto asked, being able to see that the sun was high in the sky already.
"Like eleven forty." Katsuki replied, shifting Izuku slightly so he could hold his phone easier.
Shoto looked over at his boyfriend and Izuku. "He slept the whole night, right?" He asked, slightly worried.
"As far as I know. I've only been up for like ten minutes, so I don't know for sure, but I assume so." Katsuki said back, looking as the peacefully sleeping boy in his arms.
"I'll take him if you make breakfast?" Shoto offered. Don't blame him, he was hungry. Besides, it's not like he despised cuddling with the smaller boy or anything...
"Okay, but I doubt he has anymore food than the last time I attempted to make breakfast here. I'll probably end up making it downstairs again." Katsuki explained while he and Shoto carefully transferred the still knocked out Izuku.

"I kind of already figure that." Shoto whispered back to him, gently moving Izuku's head to the crook of his neck so neither of them would be in an uncomfortable position.
"Oh hey, you two are up." A new voice chimed in. Both males snapped their heads to look at the new comer and saw the brunette from earlier. "I'm Uraraka by the way. Thanks for helping with him. He hadn't slept in over twenty four hours and Shin and I were running thin." She explained, still obviously exhausted from the past two days of babysitting.
"Um, it's no problem." Shoto said awkwardly. He was just cuddling his neighbor, on his neighbor's couch, with his neighbor's friend trying to talk to him. He felt very out of place.
"Oi, round face. Do you know if the nerd has any food? Like at all?" Katsuki asked, directing the attention from his awkward boyfriend to him.
"Oh um, yeah. I picked him up a few things yesterday." She said, a little confused by the nickname. 'Round face? Is my face really that round?' She asked herself silently.
"Thank fuck." The blond muttered as he made his way past Uraraka and into the kitchen.
The girl stayed staring after him for a few seconds, baffled by the interaction. Eventually she turned back to the neighbor that wouldn't be able to run off, meaning she could ask the questions she knew her best friend wouldn't answer himself.
"So, what's going on with you three?" She asked, taking a seat on the couch that was adjacent to Shoto and the sleeping Izuku.
The red and white haired male raised brow at her. "What'd you mean?"
"Well it's not everyday that someone get's him to sleep, especially in the state he was. He doesn't even let Shinso and I touch him when he's like that. He says it makes his skin crawl. THe fact that you two can cuddle him and making him fall asleep, means that there's definitely something going on besides you guys being 'neighborly'." Uraraka said, using air quotes around 'neighborly', seeing as she was definitely using the term lightly.
Shoto was stunned by what she had said for a few seconds. How as he really supposed to answer that? He himself had no clue why Izuku was able to fall asleep in his and Katsuki's arms when apparently he wouldn't let anyone else touch him. He just knew that having someone else there helped him when he was a child, so he gave it a shot with Izuku.

"I- um, I-" He stuttered, something he rarely did, unsure of what to say.
Thankfully, he was saved from answering by one of the few people he considered a friend. "Uraraka, leave the poor guy alone. I doubt he has any more of a clue than you do. That goes for Mido to, so don't grill him when he wakes up." Shinso scolded, scanning the room once. "Where's Bakugou?"
"Making breakfast." Shoto explained shortly, happy they had moved away from their previous topic.
Shinso nodded thoughtfully. "Okay, well we're gonna need to wake him up soon." He said, nodding his head at Izuku. "He's got a class he needs to get to at one."
"I'm already up, jackass." Izuku mumbled into the side of Shoto's neck, making the taller flinch slightly in surprise.
"Good morning, sunshine." Shinso replied sarcastically.
"No, you don't get the right to be snarky. You called me a bitch last night." Izuku said, making no effort to move away from Shoto or even sit up. He was perfectly content to stay right where he was, at least for a little longer.
"Shinso, we talked about this." Uraraka said in a disappointed tone while rest her head in her hands.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I was tired and he was being difficult." Shinso defended, motioning to the sleepy male in Shoto's arms.
"Yup, so difficult." Shoto agreed sarcastically.
Izuku sat up slightly, his eyes shining at the fact Shoto had just defended him. "You're my favorite, y'know that?" He asked in slight awe.
Shoto nearly laughed at the sight. Someone clearly wasn't completely awake yet.
"Hey asshole, I made food. Doesn't that count for something?" Katsuki asked, offense clear in his voice as he walked into the living room with two plates, one for Izuku the other for Shoto.
Izuku eagerly nodded, grabbing the plate and placing it in between him and Shoto, seeing as he still hadn't gotten off him yet. "Kacchan's definitely tied." He said with a nod as he started to dig into the eggs and hash browns on the plate.
"A tie, seriously?" Katsuki asked in disbelief.
Izuku just nodded again. "Todoroki's comfy."
"So we're gonna head out." Uraraka said cautiously, not wanting to ruin the moment. "Don't forget about your class." She called behind her, already dragging Shinso out the door.
"You know you slept on me last night, right?" Katsuki grumbled, stealing a piece of Shoto's bacon. Izuku didn't have any because Katsuki knew that he hated it with a passion.
Izuku nodded again, scowling at the meat Katsuki was eating slightly. "But I slept on Todoroki first. Todoroki's comfy." He said again.
"Just get over it, I'm a better cuddler than you." Shoto teased, letting the blond steal all of his bacon as he happily munched on his eggs.
This time, Izuku shook his head. "I never said you were a better cuddler. I just said you were comfy, I didn't say if it was more or less than Kacchan."
Both of the downstairs residents just stared at him in confusion. "I'm not following." Shoto mumbled.
Katsuki raked a hand through his hair. "Let's just leave it at a tie. I don't want to try and comprehend the ramblings of a mad man." He said, earning himself a swat to the shoulder.
"I'm not a mad man." Izuku defended.
"Of course you aren't." Shoto agreed with a faint smile.
Izuku pointed at Shoto with a wide grin. "See? This is why he's my favorite!" He exclaimed.
"I thought it was a tie!" Katsuki said, nearly throwing his bacon at his smug looking boyfriend.
"Then you called me crazy and your brownie points went down. Plus you're eating bacon." Izuku said, his nose scrunched up in disgust.
In response, Katsuki just continued to eat the bacon.

Ph. D. In Sorcery
Follow Anastasia, the unlucky physicist turned wizard, as her reality gets turned upside down and she is plunged into a world of gods, magic, swords, and adventure. Short and sweet description, anything more would be a spoiler and I detest those. Now, what you can expect from reading: This is my first time writing, or better said allowing someone else to read that mess so don’t raise your expectations too much. Still, I will try to keep the story flowing, while also devoting as much time as I can to editing. In my opinion, the story is written at a faster pace than normal with time skips here and there. I will do my best to not allow the faster pace to ruin the story by using those time skips to raise the skill of the main character. I am mainly looking for feedback while I test myself in new and unexplored waters. I did put a lot of thought into worldbuilding and the magic system, it is something that has been mulling inside my head for years before I sat down to write anything down. First and foremost I am an engineer and not a writer. I will try to do my utmost to make the world logical and consistent, but sometimes I might not express that in a way that’s clearly understood. I have a rough outline with several possible endings, but the story will change and evolve as I do. But in case I have to stop for whatever reason, the story will get an ending. It will be done even if I have to send coded messages from a bunker. I am a big fan of the Dresden Files so you can be certain that everything mentioned will in most cases be used, with a few red herrings sprinkled in the mix. But that also means I will enjoy putting the main character through the meat grinder while I eat popcorn and laugh from my evil lair. Physics, and to be more precise electromagnetism, quantum field theory, general and special relativity are very interesting topics for me that I research in my spare time. That means that the premise of the story will be using that research to bring logic to magic. Stupid I know, magic is magic, but to me, there is no reason why there shouldn’t be a concrete set of rules there. But it is still magic and that allows me to play with some things that shouldn’t normally be possible. I will focus on evolving the main character and having her react as anyone normal would, from my perspective. There will be scenes of battle, gore, and sexy times, but I will not go into too many details, counting on your imagination to fill the gaps. There will be plenty of combat, even battles ranging from a few dozen, a hundred, and thousands of participants. I could go on but there isn’t much to say that would convince anyone to read, either you thought the title was cool or you liked the poster. Or not, but after several days in photoshop, that’s the best I could do. And the title was originally Sorceress with a Ph.D. The new one makes a little less sense but I like the ring of it more for some reason. I just hope someone enjoys what I write as much as I do. In the end that is the reason, I am doing this, because I enjoy putting my thoughts on paper and seeing the outcome. Credit for the art: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/e0o8nw
