《Todobakudeku x reader》(Todobakudeku pt. 18) Well this could've ended sooner

"Goodbye everyone. Thank you for everything you've done for me. At least during this adventure I got to see Sir Nighteye and All might again. That's all I could ever ask for." Deku smiled. "Okay Bakugo, I'm ready."
Bakugo walked towards Katashi, but Shinso was already there.
"Shinso, move so we can end this quickly." Bakugo said, ready to obliterate Katashi for everything he's done.
"Hold on now. I have one more question for this guy. I think everyone wants a little bit of closure. Why did you do it?" Shinso asked Katashi.
Katashi started answering the question, and Shinso used this to his advantage.
"Of course! Why didn't we think of this sooner. Deku I knew it you don't have to die!" Mina said excitedly.
Bakugo's eyes widen. He looked at Deku, then looked away and smiled. The gesture was small, but deep down, Bakugo was truly happy that Deku didn't have to die.
Shinso brainwashed Katashi into reversing all the snakes back to normal people. As for Deku, he wasn't a snake anymore, but we couldn't reverse his one eye back to its original color. It was yet another battle scar for Deku.
When Shinso was finished, we noticed people. Usually we wouldn't be surprised but considering there was close to no one in world 1-Ab, we knew that our job was finally done, and we were happy because of it.
"Holy shit we did it. We really did it!" Ojiro said, fascinated with the people outside. He stood by the window and watched as the UA campus was flooded by the rest of its students.
"I guess all of the dorms will have a lot of cleaning up to do." (Y/n) 1-Ab said.
"Thankfully not ours." I said. World 1-At was never really messed up to begin with.

"Lucky." Both (y/n) 1-Ab and 1-Ad said at the same time.
"Well personally, I think we deserve the greatest of awards for saving three worlds." Denki said as he sat back on a chair and relaxed.
"We should be promoted to be some of the best hero's in the world." Deku said. "Then I could really make all might proud."
"Oi Deku, don't get confused. I'm going to be the number one hero. The rest of you are just extras." Bakugo barked.
"Hey bakugo, isn't this one of the first important missions that you haven't caused a problem on?" Mineta teased.
"I'll kill him. He's dead. Bring him over here. Give him to me now." Bakugo 1-At said.
Once again, Kirishima had to calm him down. It's something about those two, but I think bakugo would get into a lot of trouble if it weren't for kirishima.
"And to think we almost killed Deku..." Uraraka shook in fear.
"But we didn't, and that's what's important." I said trying to calm her down.
She looked up at me, tears in her eyes. "But what if we did? Would we really be hero's if we had to kill one of our friends? All might, Aizawa, principal nezu, the rest of the UA students, the public... would they be able to look at us the same knowing that we did such a thing? And even if it was kept under wraps, even if they said that he was killed by Katashi, we would know the truth. His mother who has been worried for him this whole time, I wouldn't be able to look her in the eyes and say 'we did this because it was the right thing to do. To save the world.' I just couldn't."

Her words made me realize how big of a decision we almost made without think of the long term consequences. I don't think I would be able to face his mother either. Even now, with Deku being alive, I'd have a hard time looking at her knowing that at that same moment, instead of being proud of her son for saving the world, she'd be going through the unimaginable. Losing a child is a pain like no other.
I hugged her, showing that I knew where she was coming from. I could understand how she felt. "It's okay Uraraka. Now we can all go back to our families and tell them how great of a job we did."
"Yeah. Thanks (y/n) 1-At." She replied.
We pulled away from the hug and Kirishima came over wrapping an arm around each of us. "How about we talk about something a little less depressing." He smiled wide, quickly changing the mood of the room.
"Guys, should we untie mineta? He seems to be trying to tell us something." Jiro said pointing to mineta struggling.
"Nahhhh." We all said together.
"I'll just take the tape off of his mouth." Sero said.
"Thank you Sero. I was trying to tell you guys this whole time we could've had Shinso use his quirk instead of having Deku die!" Mineta said.
"Mineta, it's not nice to take credit for someone else's idea." Momo lectured him.
"But I didn't this time really! Plus, it's Todoroki that's always stealing my ideas!"
"I don't steal your ideas. I make better ones." Todoroki told him.
"So, what are we supposed to do about this guy?" Shinso asked.
"Um, I guess we can leave him here in world 1-Ab. Once we all go back to our separate worlds, Katashi should appear in each of the worlds to balance it out." I said.
"Oh yeah, we do have to go back to our own worlds eventually don't we?" (Y/n) 1-Ad said.
"It's sad. I liked there being three of me." I replied.
Denki looked up at everyone. "Well there's no rush right? Let's all just spend a couple more hours here. That shouldn't be a problem right?"

“Hello! My humble audience! I, the Bard of the North, am going to tell you a tale. Nothing new, nothing old. A story of a hero, some may say, others a poor boy who was hated by the world.” The storyteller paused as he waited, right timing was everything when telling a story. Pacing… Too slow and the audience became bored then left without tossing even the smallest of coins. If he spoke too fast and rushed the story. It would leave the audience confused and having no reason to be impressed. So like any good storyteller, the Bard has to do a balancing act of sorts. Not too slow, not too fast. Just perfectly in the middle. “In a shattered country in the south, a novice princeling has the ambition to mend a torn tapestry that is his birthplace. Struggling to fend off those who would usurp the throne in an unending civil war spanning centuries. A mercenary that left only death in his wake, unable to stave off the monotony and peace of life. He looks back at the path laden with bodies, wondering if it was all worth it. Wandering souls summoned by a madman, travel away from a wasteland in a foreign land, the first alone, the others as companions. A deity, ancient in her years, waiting to be freed from a duty she no longer enjoys. For all these people and their stories, none are the hero of this tale. No, the hero is not grand, not wise, not ready.. he was punished for nothing of his doing, who was an outcast that was unloved by many, including his father.” This was always the big reveal novices use to jump off into their story. He did not start here, instead, like any good fishermen, he set the bait and waited until the fish bit before pulling. As he saw the audience's eyes focus, he then started the backstory. The harness, that stopped the listeners from having metaphorical whiplash. The foreshadowing. “But that is not where the story starts. No, not even the hero's birth. Where the story begins, is the boredom of the deity, a deity many know of. She who hunts for the impossible, the guide for those who have lost the path, the Huntress of Mallon--” A small pause, a short breath. “--All old names for a single powerful being that has roamed the grounds of this continent longer than any line of kings or queens, lords or ladies. A being of worship for many an individual…” One last breath. And he began singing the first verse.
