《Todobakudeku x reader》(Todobakudeku pt.15) Not who you think

"Oh look! The dorms. Yay!" Mineta laughed nervously and ran ahead of everyone to enter the dorms.
When we got there, the dorms seemed more messed up than they did in the other two worlds. There were scratches on the couches, windows were shattered, tables were flipped over, and chairs were missing their cushions.
"I don't really think the dorms are the safest place right now..." Tokoyami mentioned.
"Yes, I agree. As class president it is my job to keep you safe, and this place does not look very safe." Iida replied.
"Bakugo, your house is big right? We could go there." Bakugo 1-At said, knowing his and Bakugo
1-Ab's houses had to be the same.
"That may be true, but we told (y/n) 1-Ad and the two Deku's that we were gonna be at the dorms didn't we? I think we should wait for them first, and then leave." Sero suggested.
"You're right. Getting split up right now would be really bad, especially since the three of them don't belong in this world." Momo thought out loud.
"Well anyways, if we have to stay here, I think we should at least make sure no one is here." Iida said. Everyone nodded.
We went, starting from the boys side of the dorms searching every room from the top to the bottom and then the girls side. The building was empty, but every room was still messed up. Some people's beds were flipped, some rooms had clothes all over the floor, some had papers scattered everywhere, and others had cracked screens on their TVs or computers.
We did consider the fact that maybe the people in this world left their rooms dirty because they had to evacuate early. Bakugo 1-Ab told us about how him and (y/n) 1-Ab were at his house because the dorms got messed up by Mineta and Denki, but he also assured us that his room was never a mess, and didn't know how it could've become a mess.

Was something going on here at the dorms before and they just never realized it?
"What if Mineta and Denki didn't mess up the building at all, and it was the snakes trying to find someplace to call their first hideout?" Tsu thought.
"If that was the case, why wouldn't they mess up every dorm so that they could have the whole school to themselves?" Bakugo 1-At wondered.
"Wouldn't it be more work that way? Think about it, according to our timeline, we found Bakugo and
(y/n) 1-Ab already captured by one of the snakes. If they captured everyone else in class 1-Ab including Aizawa, there would be a good 30 snakes going around and converting people in the school one by one without anyone noticing." Todoroki said.
"Woah. That gets really complicated really quickly." Uraraka said.
"Right?" A lot of the people in the class agreed.
"This world is the first known location of the snakes if our theory is correct." Iida said.
"If so, where are they all now?" Mina asked.
As we all thought in the common area in the dorms, (y/n) 1-Ad came back from taking all Might back to his world.
"Oh hey (y/n) 1-Ad. Where are the two Deku's you took with you?" Sero walked up to here and asked, but she didn't reply. "Hey, guys, I don't think that's... (y/n)." Sero said, his voice fading out towards the end, but it was already too late. Sero was long gone.
"It's a snake! Don't look!" I said to everyone. Everyone covered their eyes, or at least made sure not to make direct eye contact.
Without deku here, it's not like we could convert them back into a person.
The snake shape shifted from (y/n) 1-Ad to its original form.

"You people ruin half of my troops across other worlds just by looking at them?! Tell me, how do you do it?" He said, his voice distorted, changing pitch, and all around sounded uncomfortable.
He started to walk around. I could see his dress shoes move as I looked straight down to the floor. He caressed my cheek, and I flicked his hand off.
"Oh, feisty are we now? Don't be like that, you were one of the first subjects I captured. Please do tell me how you got out so I can make adjustments to make sure it won't happen again?" The snake continued. I didn't reply.
"This voice..." (y/n) 1-At started.
"Yeah. This is the same snake that we met in our world." Todoroki said.
"So this is the leader." Mina said under her breath. "Scary.."
"And you, I remember you too. We met at that other world where all the buildings were broken down. I could've transformed so many of you then if I wanted to. How nice of me right? I didn't touch a single one of your souls." He said. I assumed he was talking to (y/n) 1-At since it was them that said they searched the training grounds.
"And seriously, snakes?!" He bursted out in laughter to himself. "What kind of name is that? Hmmm, I'll let you keep the name. It would probably make you even more confused if I decided change it up now." I couldn't see it, but I could tell he had a wide smirk on his face.
We couldn't do anything. We couldn't clearly see, we were too afraid to talk in case he had another trick up his sleeve—being the leader and all, and we couldn't take any action against him. He could convert himself into anyone of us and we wouldn't know until it was too late, so all we could do was listen and wait.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
